That's exactly why they're called movies. There are some things you're expected to accept just for the plots to move on.
Above all, Hollywood still remains the grandfather on Nollywood.
But I want to ask a question; are Asian movies (kung-fus particularly) under the umbrella of Hollywood, too? |

Oh my God! This is my best movie news of the year! IP Man is such an awesome movie! Donnie Yen, the IP Man himself, is my most favourite Asian actor. I've been following all his movies since I was a kid. He's a naturally gifted actor and fighter.
The movie, IP Man, is all about blending the Western boxing with the Asian Kung-fu kickboxing. I watched the first and second part of the movie. I even watched one supposed third of IP Man (that one did not feature Donnie Yen).
The fight between Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung in IP Man 2 was epic. Shaking Donnie Yen's hand is in my to-do list. |

Sports › Re: Remember The Nigeria Vs India Match That Ended 99-1??? by LarrySun(m): 9:24pm On May 09, 2015 |
The story, although false, still made us proud of our national football team - the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
We considered Samuel Okwaraji a demigod. But the version I heard was that it was Rasheed Yekini who kicked the rock and the Indian keeper ran for his dear life as he saw the big rock and Yekini's boot flying towards him.
Nollywood has got a movie idea to make manifest. Lol!
God bless Nigeria(ns). |
Literature › Re: African Spiderman by LarrySun(m): 9:05pm On May 09, 2015 |
Nice work, sir. But I think their dialogues sound too western. And the mail shouldn't have been placed in quotes, it should rather have been italicised. Placing the message in quote makes it sound like a direct speech. Lest I forget, in your prologue, you used the word 'cop'; I think that's a misnomer. We don't use 'cop' in Nigeria, we use 'policeman' or 'officer'. There is no dull moment in the story. Well done, sir. 1 Like |

kingphilip: Hmmmmm this story is taking a very dangerous turn which will go a long way to decide the next few years of their lives but probably basket is playing a prank on black or he's getting jealous because of the divided attention that black is giving to him
If it's d first that's a nice thing but if it's the second the first two lines of my previous paragraph will come to play but it's something terrible I forsee
Ride on LarrySun You set the pace others can on trail You always remind me of Detective Lot. You have his shrewd eyes for clues. |
