Afamdman: Also one other thing. Time (age) you have like 3 generations of people here, but your description confuses their ages. But I forgive you, would be a bit difficul to hide in a movie though. Means cain should be like 15-17 years older than abel. For forgiving me, you now have a seat reserved for you in paradise. Cain was actually 18years when Abel was born. |
Afamdman: Hello larry. Very nice story, twist and plots I must commend you. Just recently started finding my love for reading fiction novels again. So your story was refreshing. So my own reviews.Thank you, Afam. You just made my night with this comment. I like having my flaws getting pointed out to me as much as I like the raves I receive. 1. I guess the red-herring I employed wasn't an enough 'deceit' on you. But, I'll like to know if you suspected the photographer before his own confession...if you did, then I'd have to go back to my drawing board of logical deduction. Lol! Just kidding. You're better than Lot. 2. I'm merely a story-teller...not yet a writer, not quite. But with time, I shall improve. I look up to the likes of Wodehouse, Poe, Chesterton Achebe and Adichie...all these are WRITERS who blend their styles with impressive stories. I see myself as the half of the pie yet. Oh! If, however, it is worthy of motion pictures, Cameron and Spielberg must come to Nigeria. Lol! Thanks buddy. ![]() |

jayslickyslicky: Please Larry, please refresh my memory.who is Raymond phillip(is't Richard phillip's father)...Jays, by tracing the subtle twitching of the web, you shall arrive at the arachnid which wove the thread. Raymond Philip is Richard's step-dad. Martha Benson (Arewa, Rosemary) is Richard's mother. If you figure it out, you shall understand the irony inherent in the plot from the beginning and the end. However, surprise and astonishment still lurk behind the plots in THE PARADOX OF ABEL. Thanks for reading THE BRAND OF CAIN. Bless you. |

Larry Sun was born in Nigeria on July 1, 1986. He developed a love for words and ideas at seventeen and started writing short stories just to entertain himself. At 22, he decided to try his hand in writing standard stories of which some of them include THE HOUSEHOLD SERIES: THE BRAND OF CAIN and THE PARADOX OF ABEL (A sequel). While he was writing the first book he tried to get himself into the country’s Armed Force but he was turned down due to defective eyesight. Larry is near-sighted. He devotes a great deal of time and patience on the research for his novels. THE BRAND OF CAIN is his first novel, and he is currently working on his third book. Larry Sun is a new Nigerian writer who hopes to become a household name with his writing style. He can be reached directly on larrysundynasty@gmail.com. |

DailyNews: Larry well done, but then, to make it more interesting and easy to read, cut the post in bits so it can come in short short form than being too voluminous so people can read, remember, most people that visit forum sites, always want to gland, scheme through and possibly not read a volume post.Thank you, DailyNews. It's good getting a rave from the founder of YAN! |
