Chams, CWG, Deap, FTN Cocoa, Golden Guinea, IEI, Japaul, John Holt, Secure Electronic, Oando, Omatek, Tantalizers, Thomas Wyatt, The Initiated, Tripple Gee, and Unity Bank. I just wonder on what basis people are putting their money on such stock other than gambling. I just pity the shell holders. |

Experts in the house. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with others freely. I have a quick question on two manufacturing stocks that have been tagged underpriced for so long but are yet to show signs of reaching their potential even though their peers appear to be doing better. WAPCO: (1) huge cost of production, administration and distribution (2)High interest payment (3) payment of dividend from pioneer reserve
FLOURMILLS: (1) huge cost of production, administration and distribution (2)High interest payment
Are these not red flags for the 2 stocks in the short and medium term and how long could the long term be if it is to eventually come? |

Thank you for your response. emmasoft: 1. No. Investors are entitled to the promised bonus and becomes part of their holdings if the the public offer purchased is held till January 2023
2. If it differs, they will most likely go with the existing mandate and more especially if they consolidate the two accounts.
3. Please note transfer form, E mandate ends at the office if the registrars not the stockbroking firm. If it's same CHN or different CHN you don't need to fill a new mandate. However, especially if it's different CHN you will need to send a mail to the concerned registrar to mandate your new purchases.
But with the current reforms and updates going on with the operators and regulators very soon investors will not even need to send any mandate as you buy stocks your details well be captured automatically. |

@Gurus in the house, kindly help out with the following 3 questions:
1. Does the dividend paid by MTN recently include the promised bonus units dividend?
2. Does it matter if the bank account number quoted for receipt of e-dividend in public offer differs from that of secondary market purchase.
3. If you purchase shares of the same company from different stockbrokers in the secondary market with same CHN and you already filled share transfer form and e-dividend mandate with the first stockbroker, do you need to still fill share transfer form and e-dividend mandate with the others? |
