I just felt like sharing my first experience trying to woo a girl, it was like hell tho... so funny

Each time I remember this event it always make me to wonder if it was normal or maybe I wasn't bold. Some times ago I was on my way to visit a friend when I came in contact with this edo girl, she was so pretty that I kept on staring at her forgetting that i'm supposed to cross to the other side of the road cos where I stood was a very busy Junction.

That was what I heard myself say, immediately she heard that she hissed loudly and crossed to the other side of the road and walked away.. I swear I couldn't sleep that night..

More people and travellers live in PH. Ph is a bigger city with more connections to anywhere in the world not just Nigeria. PH has more connections by road, air and sea than Aba. More transport companies operate in PH than Aba. Yes Aba is commercial, but not on the level of ph when it comes to transportation. Unless you are talking about transportation to villages in Abia state.

People only go to Aba from PH to buy cheap goods, not to travel. Even the goods it's not because they cant get it in PH, but because it's way cheaper in Aba.

OP if you can live in the north without wahala, then you can as well in the south. I know as a northerner you may be looked at as an enemy especially in Aba or any other SE city or state, but PH is too cosmopolitan for that.
Language will never be a barrier for you in PH as long as you can speak pidgin english or correct english. In Aba at first they'll use Ibo to communicate with you, but once they know that you dont understand they'll switch(sometimes they will still use Ibo unknowingly), however they've already marked you as an outsider.
For cities that you've never been to, I'll say stay close to your own(other northerners) and avoid unnecessary night movement. PH and Aba are safe especially during the day.

It's your country so feel free to explore, but be careful. Dont listen to anyone telling you onitsha. How can you be going to Aba and be lodging in faraway onitsha?

Hello Nairalanders, I will be traveling to the Southern part of the Country for the first time in my life. I was born and raised in the North Central, Plateau state to be precise.

I will be traveling to Aba to buy some goods for a Client, initially I was planning to move to Port-Harcourt, then from there enter Aba and Onitsha after I'm done with shopping I will move back to Port-Harcourt and take a Bus back home.

Now the issue here is I have never travelled to the South, a lot of people here are telling me that there's no security, even lodging is not safe because EFCC might raid the lodge anytime. And the Streets are also not safe.

Pls Nairalanders in port and Aba should recommend a good and safe area for me. I was told keke and bus drivers don't usually speak English na so so language dem dey speak.

Help a brother pls.
