chuksanambra: Sowore went against Abacha, he was injected with lead poison in his head. He went against OBJ, was on exile. He went against Yar Adua and was also on exile. In fact, he broke the news of Yar Adua's death to the dismay of Turai and the cabal. They had no choice but to hand over to GEJ.
He went against GEJ and was so accurate that GEJ said on live TV that he learnt of his own brother's death from SR. In this Buhari's regime, he's been arrested without cause in an attempt to shut him up. Now, Saraki amd his gang of thieves are up in arms against SR.
I can see a lot of financially poor and mentally bankrupt posters attacking Sowore and Sahara Reporters. Unfortunately for them, they do no understand that Sowore is one of the last patriotic Nigerians in Nigeria today.
Sowore is based in the US but fighting for the interests of Nigerians from there. Most of these people attacking him would trade their entire lineage for a one-way ticket to New York.
He's comfortable by all standards and he's chosen to fight for those without a voice. Unfortunately, some descendants of Judas Iscariot who have taken it upon themselves to adopt and support every person of questionable character are also against SR.
Sahara Reporters has done more for Nigeria and Nigerians than all Nigerian leaders since 1999. SR is on the side of Nigerians and are a scourge to corruption and atrocious leadership.
Nigerian leaders can be rest assured that very soon, through the instrumentality of SR, they and all those who benefitted from their crimes ( their wives, children and families) would pay in full for their crimes against the people of Nigeria. Guy, Sahara Reporters is not always accurate. |

All medical and pharmaceutical products, Basic food items, Books and educational materials, Baby products, Fertilizer, locally produced agricultural and veterinary medicine, farming machinery, and farming transportation equipment
All exports Plant and machinery imported for use in the Export Processing Zone

Medical services, Services rendered by community banks, People’s Bank and mortgage institutions, Plays and performances conducted by educational institutions as part of learning. All export services. Note also: Exports are zero rated. Everybody doesn't know anything about double taxation as many taxpayers are ignorant about the tax laws. The following are taxes collected by federal, state and local government in Nigeria Taxes Collected by the Federal Government
Company income tax. Withholding tax on companies, residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and non-resident individuals. Petroleum profits tax. Education Tax. Value Added Tax. Capital gains tax on residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, corporate and non-resident individuals. Stamp duties on bodies corporate and residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Withholding tax for Individuals Capital gains tax for individuals Stamp duties on instruments executed by individuals. Pools betting, lotteries, gaming and casino taxes. Road tax. Business premises registration Development levy for individuals Naming of street registration fees in State Capitals. Right of Occupancy fees on lands owned by the State Government. Market taxes and levies excluding any market where State Finance is involved. Motor Park levies. Domestic animal license fees. Bicycle, truck, canoe, wheelbarrow and cart fees, other than a mechanically propelled truck. Cattle tax payable by cattle farmers only. Merriment and road closure levy. Radio and television license fees (other than radio and television transmitter). Vehicle radio license fee (to be imposed by the local government of the State in which the car is registered. Wrong parking charges. Public convenience, sewage and refuse disposal fees. Customary burial ground permit fees. Religious places establishment permit fees. Signboard and advertisement permit fees Although there have been modifications. The items exempted from VAT are much much fewer than the ones that are subjected to VAT. What has govt done with all the taxes they collected on the goods and services that have been taxed, so far? Witholding tax on services is 10% of the cost of such services, so every time you recharge your phone on Glo, Etisalat, Airtel, MTN or Ntel, a percentage of that money flows into the govt purse as tax. What has govt done so far with that money? Ordinary pensions and salaries still remain unpaid at many levels. Do you know how much money state govts make from land use charges annually? Do the maths. If you are a landlord, you cannot avoid paying it, except if you want your premises to be sealed up. Please go and do your research when it comes to Plant, machinery and equipment purchased for utilisation of gas in downstream petroleum operations. At the point of clearing such equipment at the ports, duties, taxes etc are levied in full on all these items. So please do NOT propagate this false premise that such equipment are exempt from tax, when they are not. In fact, equipment used for domestic LPG is fully taxed at source. Even the Gas itself is also taxed at source. |

If you buy anything from a supermarket, restaurant or pharmacy, you pay VAT. If you buy an airline ticket, there is a percentage of tax incorporated into the price of the ticket, that the passenger pays. If you park at any public car parking lot, there is a proportion of the parking fees remitted as tax. If you own a stall in the market, the local govt officials come in on different days of the week to collect taxes and fees from things ranging from signboards to sanitation. If you pass a toll gate, part of the toll fees you pay are remitted as taxes to the govt. The list is endless. There are so many indirect taxes, that people pay in this country. Talk to a tax professional to educate you further... GuyfawkesAB: I don't need to answer to concocted hypothesis and assumptions that your people keep peddling around.
The only fact I wanted you to know is that all the events pre and post independence up to the Civil war has strong evidences of an attempt by Igbos to grab power and dominate by all means. They could have formed an alliance with AG at the Parliament to forestall northern domination, but they must have thought that it will be easy to usurp the Hausa/Fulani partners rather than the politically sagacious SW (alluding to Ejoor's citing that they had been planning a coup from Independence day).
Orizu clearly played into the plan. Ironsi took the opportunity. Ojukwu was also scheming. Azikiwe feigned ignorance... all this while the SW and North (though initially rejoicing that corrupt leaders were taken out) came into a realization that they were the ones who have been shortchanged.
It was this same desire that materialized in different coup attempt by Igbo Officers (Ojukwu, Ifeajuna, Okafor, Nzeogwu, Onwuamatuegwu) and their corrupted Yoruba and Tiv collaborators.
I won't be surprised if it was global agreement by all Igbo politicians and military officers to seek for any way possible to grab power. The active participation of the officers, knowledge of the coup by Azikiwe and a host of others whose lives were spared, and the teeming civil leaders who seemed happy that their people were now in power (until the Hausa/Fulani Tiger came roaring)
I hope Igbos will realize that ruling Nigeria again would only be possible when they have accepted to respect other tribes and not regard others as lesser to themselves- The Northerners- illiterates and dirty beggars, The Yorubas, local, dirty and betrayers, Niger Deltans, Lazy and purposeless Osus, Slaves and not worth relating with Ebonyis, lesser Igbos...
I'm done with you bro Here, collect two chilled bottles from Mama Onoja's stall down the road. You deserve it. You have really said it all.... and you have said it well Despite all the well-grounded analysis that various people have shared on this board, some individuals still believe the lie that Awolowo planned a coup. Even if he wanted to plan one, would he call Igbo military boys to help him plan & execute it? Going by what many saw as his tribalistic antecedents? Did Awolowo donate men, money, plans, equipment, materials and resources to Nzeogwu & co., to execute the coup? No! Did he sit down with any of these military boys to work out logistics concerning the coup, at any point in time? So why do people still recycle such false stories? |

TheUmbra: I'm not here to diss you, I'm here to give a medical/psycho-analytical report on your TheUmbra behaviour on this forum so far. So we may title this official reports as:
LAUDATE THEUMBRA'S MEDICAL FACT SHEET:
THEUMBRA is a male patient with the following medical diagnosis:
ASPERGER'S SYNDROME: The said patient has serious trouble with his communicative skills with a sustained ineptitude in social interaction.
PSYCHOSIS: The said patient has been observed and confirmed with mental dysfunction that rendered him incapable of shame. Also having cognitive impairments regarding sound judgement.
TARDIVE DYSKINESIA: Affecting said patient with a visible impulse of repetition. Under gruesome pressure from Dr Probz and Dr Shroud, our patient was consistently repeating the same post over and over again.
COGNITIVE REDUNDANCY: The patient has impaired cognitive vibrancy with inability to respond appropriately to intellectual stimuli or provocations from Dr Shroud.
COGNITIVE DISSONANCE: The patient has exhibited sustained signs of hypocrisy; with inconsistency in what he portrays and what he does.
OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER: The patient, Mr TheUmbra displayed sustained suicidal tendencies of continuous reply to Dr Shroud's gruesome tests despite suffering severe shellacking. Corresponding with earlier diagnosis by Dr Probz
MAN-CHILD SYNDROME: Though Mr Laudate TheUmbra gave his age as 45, tests conducted with specimens from his bone and saliva put his age somewhere between mid to late 50s. The tests were necessitated by the disparities between the patient's outlook and intellectual expectations. Under severe pressure from our in-house NeuroTherapists, Dr Shroud and Dr Probz, the patient yielded by exhibiting emotional immaturity asymmetrical to his age.
In conclusion, we are compelled to inform the public that the patient is very likely to rewrite this factsheet to smear and blackmail the team of doctors that have been working exceptionally hard at treating his numerous neuro-cognitive disorders. The public is by this publication advised to approach Mr Laudate TheUmbra with extreme caution or avoid him all together.
Signed:
