I no do nah by force? I had told you that those aliens don't fit into healthy biafran agenda. The hate emanating from those quarters is just to toxic and will choke our young nation before she even stands a chance of growing,
When did Ndiigbo drag those bitter people into Biafra, let me guess? The circulated maps? They are many Biafrans maps out there, they are merely proposals and in no way insinuate forcing people into Biafra. If the jellyfishes from those hateful groups are interpreting those maps as forcing them into Biafra, then they are even more pathetic than I envisaged. |

Develpeast: A man named pazienza and some few others said they don't want Urhobos to be part of it. I thought the conversation would have died naturally due to that but this is more than 50pages, we are still on it.
They were open to two options, join or not join.
Pazienza said it. The man you cited was the first one to insult the Urhobos in the early pages of this thread. Kindly do a content analysis. On page 2 of this thread, he had said: "9. That is just a proposal. I don't consider Itsekiri and Urhobo parts of Biafra, any body that put then on the Biafran map is merely fishing for their reactions.
We don't share same life ideology with those people. I see no basis for unity with them. We can't be running away from a mad house( Nigeria), only to end up creating another mad house in Biafran by inviting bitter people with whom we share little with to share a nation He was the first person to refer to Urhobo & Itsekiri as bitter people. Why? Simply because they affirmed that they did not want to be part of Biafra. Shey, you are following? Then when math001 replied that they should remove Urhobo from the madness, guess what his response was? You are not wanted. You are the madness we seek to do away with. Stop seeking for cheap attention and deal with it. It is right there on the 4th page of this thread. Check. And that is the same person who later started forming innocent & whose friend is now asking others to prove who started insulting Urhobo on this thread. I laugh in Chinese. |

That was how I made a post earlier this year on Delta STate and mention Igbo. This same Pazienza almost screamed BLOOD and MURDER on me. He and his kinsmen were asking why I mentioned Igbo in my writeup.
See this irony here now. And his cohorts are happy and giving him morale.

Do you see him insulting Urhobos or Ijaws? These guys support anyone who support them and descend on anyone with contrary view.
Why is it like that?
If they allow contrary view to sip through the ranks, by now you will be seeing different forms of IPOB. They just want to pull it down by all means even though it has a damaging effect on neutral minded people.
No movement involves calm followers except they will see them as unserious.
They do not hate the southerners and they will never raise dust against you. You know they supported NDA when they started.
It all boils down to having a strong conviction of wanting to leave this country. Ok, so in other words you support the hate filled rhetoric dished out on Radio Biafra by your kinsmen. Now we know what drives your thinking. |

Develpeast: Let me say: This is the best way you understand business.
It is not a must that a company advertises before there will be a bid. Just a look at the situation of the company by external investors will help to seize the opportunity to bid.
I think your company needs new partnership from the way we all are looking at it. Yes, a company does not need to advertise before someone brings in a new proposal. But if your new proposal will extract a great cost from my company, that is likely to render it bankrupt or is unlikely to be beneficial to my firm, then I am not compelled to accept it. You may think I need a new partnership, but I know my firm much better than you do, and your offer may not even fit into my long term plans for my company, or it could even derail my projections by a wide margin. What you feel is a good deal in your own view, might be seen as bad from my own perspective. Develpeast: Who are the ones spreading the hate speech? The employees of the bidding company and not the CEO. So, are you going to stop a good deal because some employees are bragging about partnering with you? I think no. You will weigh your options as a good leader.
Have we in any part of history hurt any group? You know the answer. Are we loud and proud? Yes, we are and I am sorry, that's in the gene. So as a CEO, if the employees of the bidding company are describing my firm in uncomplimentary terms, would that make their offer attractive to me or would it kill any inclination I have to even examine the proposal? I am sure you know the answer. No one woos a new prospect using insults and hate speech. Such antagonistic words do not attract support from anyone on the receiving end. If you have studied marketing or even how to get new clients on board, you would realise that most bidding companies go out of their way to woo, attract, invite and catch the attention of new firms, using all they can to allure them. They study their likes & dislikes and cater to it. Ask what American companies went through, in order to get business from the Japanese. Now if a bidding company engages in hate speech in order to attract a client, I would conclude that ; 1). Their CEO is highly irresponsible to allow his staff to engage in such irrational behaviour towards a prospective client, as it would cost him potential business from such a client. There are rules of engagement for every situation. 2). The bidding company does NOT value my business, or has absolutely no respect for me as a potential client, neither does it value what they would get from carrying out transactions with my firm. That is why they have chosen to ridicule my company and bring it down. This would definitely act as a turn-off, and would make me totally lose interest in even considering any part of your proposal. 3). Finally, being loud and proud is not an excuse for being condescending, irrational, arrogant, belittling those around you and putting others down. And that is where we differ. My dignity & self-respect is worth far too much for me to trade it in, under the guise of establishing a new business partnership. Develpeast: Have you explored every means possible in your present partnership to see your dreams come through? You have done everything legal and illegal to push your points but it has met a gridlock.
Have we supported you all the way through your struggle? Your answer is as good as mine.
I am bring two dependent states and you are presently feeding close 24 dependent states.
common man, what do you have to lose? Even if my current partnership has met a gridlock, would that be enough reason to trade it in for a new partnership that is bound to be filled with rancour, hate, subjugation and disrespect? It would be like jumping from frying pan into fire. Even if I am feeding close to 24 dependent states, what is your own? I can still keep working on my relationship with them, using tactics of mediation, negotiation and conciliation to improve the existing partnership. Afterall, the existing partnership has been chugging along for 50 years, and has not broken down irretrievably in my own view. The benefits of forming a relationship with you and your two dependent states comes at an abnormally high cost that would erode my peace of mind & dignity, and end up leaving my firm in a far worse state, than the original one in which it used to be. Is it by force to form an alliance with people who disrespect me? NO! |

Develpeast: You have a company (Urhobos), you have a particular group people maintaining it for you for the past 50years but you are not fulfilled.
A new company comes (though aggressively) and said we want to maintain your company for you just be part of us. We even have incentives for you that your former partners ain't giving you.
You, a CEO of the company who have gone through your former proposal and the new one you have on the table. Knowing fully well that though they are aggressive, they have a forward thinking mind that will help your company.
Which will you choose? stick to the former contract or the new one? Bros, this thread is full of entertainment. I haven't laughed like this in years. I am not Urhobo, but let me thank these chaps for their wise cracks. Now back to your question: Let us assume I am the owner of the Urhobo company - Did my company advertise to anyone that they wanted a new contract? Has my company explored all alternative means of resolving the difficulties I have with my current partners, on the existing contract? Should the group offering the new contract try to shove it down my throat using hate speech, vile language, bullying tactics, scorn and venomous rhetoric in their bid to prove that what they are offering is more superior? In fact, it is a pointer to the fact that if I make the mistake of entering into any agreement with the new company on the basis of their new proposal, na everyday we go dey fight! Morning shows the day. By accepting their offer, the cost of their services would be too high, as one would have to trade his dignity, self-respect, peace of mind, identity, perspectives, objectives and ability to dissent with the promoters of the new proposal. Nothing is worth more than a man's dignity or self-respect. So my answer to those offering the new proposal would be: "No, thank you." I would look for an alternative that would not exact such a huge toll on my firm. |

In fact, people have called out Freeze on his comments on other social media platforms. Take a look: Cool FM OAP, Dotun has called Freeze out in what he described as a generalization, adding that “opinions are ultimately determined by feelings or personal experiences and not by the intellect”.
“Freeze you are going out of line and losing focus” – OAP Dotun on the Recent Comparison between Yoruba and Igbo Women
Following OAP Freeze and Sales Director at Internet Solutions, Chiekezi Dozie‘s recent comparison of Yoruba women and Igbo women, Cool FM OAP, Dotun has called Freeze out in what he described as a generalization, adding that “opinions are ultimately determined by feelings or personal experiences and not by the intellect”.
Chiekezi had said that if a Yoruba man wants to be successful in life, he should marry an Igbo woman. Freeze quoted Chiekezi in an Instagram post and said “I kinda agree”, going ahead to list his reasons. Read it here.
Their comments sparked outrage and understandably so, being that there are more pressing national issues than how a particular tribe makes for a successful marriage.
Dotun wrote on Instagram:
"This isn’t out of any classification of words or belief but out of something I utterly see as a Lil disrespectful and out of context. I’ll address it. @daddyfreeze I have known you for a few years right from the days of seemingly finding my feet in broadcasting to this very day of God’s lift and I have never exchanged my standard with bringing you down but THIS! your piece about YORUBA WOMEN is absolutely classless. It still does not mean what isn’t good for the goose can’t be good for the gander.
Freeze you are going out of line and losing focus and it affects a few of us that look up to you. Write your piece and enjoy it but don’t disregard our positions as brothers, dads, husbands to YORUBA women. Galatians 1:10 – For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

9gerian: Reading comments from people who should know better but do not can be heart rending. However, I wish to challenge our thought processes.
Allow me to ask the following relevant questions: 1. How many Igbo men who have igbo wives are the most successful amongst their clan? 2. How many Yoruba men who are the most successful in their clan have Igbo wives? 3. How many Yoruba women are successful and recognized as such in Nigeria and beyond? 4. How many Igbo women are successful and recognized as such in Nigeria and beyond?
5. When a man sees a woman that he likes, is he interested in her tribe or in the very woman that he is seeing and picturing as a possible wife? Let me answer this. Naturally men really don’t care. We are just interested in a woman that we perceive may be able to compliment us in the marriage union- shikena. This is not to say that archaic grievances and stereotyping do not get thrown at us by would be in-laws on both sides, which now leads to the eventual but varying outcomes experienced depending on circumstances and the individuals involved.
6. So why do we go about brandishing these women are better than those, as though all or most men go out looking for specific tribes when they intend to find a wife? To each his preference!
My deductions: 1. Chiekezie Dozie had motivations to promote his tribeswomen to Yoruba men for reasons known to him. I mean why specifically mentioning Yoruba if not with a view to market to them? Perhaps, the Yoruba men have been noticed to be silent and amiable achievers that he wanted his tribeswomen to be part of the success stories. In fact, he may have noticed a somewhat cultural combination that he found beautiful to him to behold, which he felt held much promises and promoted unity that the nation so much lacks, hence he wanted more of such unions. I don’t know his motives for sure, but one thing I know is; I recognize marketing whenever I see one.
2. Daddy freeze, not understanding first the marketing angle, and 2nd, the real motive, decided to weigh in how be it in a most patronizing manner that led him to de-market his own tribeswomen. That was a very low status to assume in buttressing an external marketing program of a friend or colleague. He should apologize to all Yoruba women who have been doing their tribe and nation proud all-over the world. His is the proverbial case of a child describing the father’s house with the left hand. The designation of such a child is better left to the imagination.
3. Perhaps Daddy Freeze found it so convenient, because he is a man. Can we therefore assume that Igbo men are more successful than Yoruba men in all areas and see how this seats with him?
4. In all, those tribal bigots who get orgasms from debasing others are the real clear and present dangers to growth of this nation. If you check, they have deeper issues with rejection and hatred.
5. All tribes and ethnic groups in Nigeria and elsewhere have their strengths and weaknesses. You just need to move closer them to disabuse your mind of stereotyping. Our focus should be on continually learning from other tribe those things we find deficient in our own culture and norms- No single tribe or race has got it all. And if you think or say that your tribe is not deficient in any area of civilization or ethics, then reading this write up may have been a waste of time for you. Challenge yourself!!! JAH BLESS At long last!! An objective, well-balanced, well-articulated and respectful submission that is completely devoid of insults and e-fisticuffs. Bros, I bow for you, jare. More respect!! Don't mind those hopeless militants. They steal crude for refining and claim it is "our oil." If they want crude for refining, let them apply for an oil block, bring in drilling equipment that costs thousands of dollars per day to operate, and lay their own pipelines from the wells into their refineries. That is how intelligent, honest and sensible people prospect for oil.
Don't burst pipelines that cost someone else thousands of USD to build, and then steal crude that cost another person thousands of dollars to drill, because you feel it is your 'oyel.' That is illegitimate & illegal |

dustmalik: When the militants blow up pipelines, and some people cite the environmental hazard it causes, you, pro-militants, are always quick to rubbish the concerns of those people, telling them not to be worried more than the bereaved. You can't eat your cake and have it. You haven't seen anything yet. Don't mind those hopeless militants. They steal crude for refining and claim it is "our oil."
