I had a heated argument with a guy in the same lodge. It went out of control. We fought and we were held by others to avoid escalating it. After all the noise we generated, we retired into our various room. To my chagrin, by 12 midnight the guy called me on phone and was already knocking on my door. I opened the door and he was standing on my door with plate. He was begging for food, my guy wan die of hunger. I called him in and told him to boil water and make eba fọr himself. My uni days, I learnt that boys too like arguments. We go argue for early morning b4 we go class, argue after class, some argue for midnight wen dem return from night class and others were sleeping. Their arguments are always provocative. D ones wey dey sleep for midnight go wake up with anger and still las las join the arguments again.

In my 100L room, na so some fellowship go dey bang for everybody's door by 5am to come out for prayers and na dat time sleep dey sweet pass. Some 100L guys then weren't happy so, by 12:30am they too will wake up and start banging on everybody's doors too to wake up for MTN midnight call (Which was in vogue then). Nobody will have rest. Wen you then think everywhere has cooled down and you want to sleep, that when by 4am one deeperlife fellowship guy go mount public address system close to ur window telling you to repent there's no time.

Na for hostel (hall 3, uniben) na im ur people go visit you and the hostel boys will start making all manners of animal sounds just for the fun of embarasing you.

In my 300L room we argued very badly about engineering and law which one is better. The engineering students said all lawyers are charge and bail. There were 2 law students in my room then and one of them said that all mech engine students end up as road side mechanics, all civil engineering students end up as lebuke, all elect-elect students end up as road side electricians, all chemical engineering students end up chemistry teacher, etc.
Omo all the students washing their clothes downstairs coincidentally were engineering students. You need to see the way all of dem abandoned their clothes they were washing to come upstairs and join the argument that day. My room that year was referred to as the argument headquarter that year. Don't bother to argue with us bcs we can do it for hours and you will never win.
