We already knw bros!
LWKMDFH! Actually everyone knows MI's name is Jude so it really doesn't indicate that i know him, simply cos i called him Jude. But i know am sha. ![]() Yeah i got the exaggeration, but you didn't get the humour in my reversing the exaggeration with the facts. http://www.4shared.com/audio/YTcv03u2/Iceprince-Oleku_Instrumental_.html Hope this is the one you want. If it isn't just let me know. |
Ermm. . . . Sir, Awards ain't shyte! For Christ Sakes, Soulja Boi have won Awards. Even Justin Bieber won Over Eminem at the AMA, shey? And for the Performance, u prob'bly dnt knw i Rap. . . So what U saying? Mo' Cheddah got ways to go. She's just lucky she got KH by her.
@da Whizkid, Actually i know that you do; have actually downloaded a couple of your tracks. You've performed with MI? What track was that? And at what show? is da Whizkid your stage name or is that just your nairaland persona? Cos am gonna ask Jude about you. And there are only 7 videos of Mo'Cheddah available for now, not 100. Dude, don't hate, congratulate. ![]() |
@Lawyerchap I no see any reason why person go rate BANS above SOS sha. Btw both have 'relatively' poor production bt i definitely enjoyed/relate to SOS topics than BANS. Maybe it's personal Preference. Btw bros, wat about d oleku instrumental wey u say u go hustle for us na, ?
@da Whizkid I cannot argue with personal preference, As for the Oleku instrumental, completely forgot about that. Will rustle it up for you asap. btw, (and you know i'm gonna go there lol) did you see 'my relation' on saturday night performing with Public Enemy and winning 'Best New Artiste' at the MAMAs? |
Safe for Pherowshuz's The Return of Pherow the Great, Vector's SOS is the best Naija Rap Album out dis year. @lawyerchap are u related to Mo Cheddah in a way? The album is. . . . Great Dj Klem's beat wasted by Mo'. She got ways to go.
@da Whizkid Regarding the bolded, do you know what humble pie is? If you don't, you better check up on it, cos you're going to be eating a lot of it pretty soon. ![]() BTW, are you related to Vector in a way? Because following me and eldee's little convo above, i stuck SOS into the car CD all yesterday till now, and to call it the best Naija rap album is wildly philantropic. Been listening to BANS, HOD and MI2; in my opinion SOS doesn't crack top 3 this year. ![]() |
eldee:Isn't that somewhat contradictory? How come no one you know has listened to the album of the top rated upcoming artiste? does it mean Vector's not moving units? i know i bought the album, but between MI2, Untouchable, Franchise Celebrity, Beautiful Imperfection and BANS, i haven't found space or time to listen to it. I think Mo'Cheddah is going to blow bigtime though. Her album is completely listenable. |
Got the phone number you want. What's the nature of your business? |
tensor777:You're a fine one to talk. You sit over there in England pontificating about things of which you have no idea. The very fact that you think someone can expect government to make them rich just shows how far removed from the reality of Nigeria you are. Oh, wait a minute, i hear government can make you rich in England if you have enough children, or am i mixing up the countries? Anyway, if you must know, i have contributed quite a bit to my country. At least i stayed here to give it a go while you turned tail and checked out. |
It's very simple, this distinction between Nigeria and Naija. Amos Adamu of the 'Cash for World Cup Hosting Votes' scandal is from Nigeria. Mo'Cheddah, 18 year old singer/rapper who won the best video by a female artiste in the whole of Africa is an omo Naija. Erastus Akingbola and Cecilia Ibru of the 'run this bank like my personal kiosk' saga are from Nigeria. Stephanie Okereke and Genevieve Nnaji, some of the most recognizable faces on the continent are omo Naija. Dipreye Alamieyesigha of the 'cross-dressing to escape from custody' fame is from Nigeria. 2Face Idibia, one of Africa's most decorated musicians is an omo Naija. It's not rocket science to understand that young Nigerians have found a motherlode of nationalistic fervour in that name Naija albeit in a totally unexpected direction. It is a rallying cry for engendering a sense of belonging to our nation despite the fact that it has thoroughly failed us. Methinks, Dora should leverage the name Naija if she is truly serious about rebranding this country. We hear the South Africans going on about 'Mzanzi' all the time. no one has told them not to refer to their country by that name. And they have constant electricity too. ![]() |
Please let's not insult Kaffy by comparing her with this girl. If you've seen Kaffy dance live you would never try and comapre her with this chic. Kaffy is in the Guinness Book of World Records for chrissakes! Please, respect the Queen, Halle has got a lot of ground to cover before she will be anywhere near Kaffy's creativity and quality. Kwame08:Dude, you need to get out more. The average chic who goes clubbing to dance (as opposed to those who go there to pose with their blackberrys and sip champagne while lying in wait for the next maga) dances just as well as this chic. And a good many i've seen actually dance better. Halle may be a good dancer no doubt, but she's not great. At least not yet. IMHO. |
Is there some sort of reward for this? It's Eric Arubayi - I Go Make Am. http://www.4shared.com/audio/eHJ6Qxv0/Eric_Arubayi_-_I_Go_Make_Am.html |
eLDee is monumentally gifted. He is almost infallible when it comes to music. He's really something. Not to take anything away from MI's phenomenal skills as a rapper and a producer, but eLDee blows MI away on this one. |
bros, abeg you fit hustle the beat for me, thanks!
I go try. But after the 'One Naira' leak, those guys are wary of everyone. But gimme till like wednesday and i should have it for you. |
