The internet was designed to survive a nuclear holocaust. No one can shut down the internet. |
If you jumped to the conclusion that Wizkid stole the song, without even asking to hear the original song, then you're a hater who envies the young lad his success. If this so called original composer of the song really did have a case, how come no one has seen this video which she has purportedly sent to a lawyer? Is she not on Facebook? Its the easiest thing in the world to put the video on Facebook and the internet would do its viral thing. (and doing that does not and cannot in any way jeopardize its value as evidence, to preempt any arguments about her lawyer asking her not to) She needs to come to terms with the fact that fame isn't meant for everyone and find some other gift to leverage and fulfil her destiny. Pakurumos are all over the place: Yinka Ayefele, as pointed out here, and also Vector's new single Mr Vector has that too. I don't hear anyone saying anything about that. |
Excellent piece of work. Fantastic writing and brilliant art direction. These guys are definitely ones to watch. The mohits article was hilarious. Seun, this deserves to be on the front page. |
Please i need music from Nosa, someone? Anyone? Please, anything by him apart from 'Always Pray for you' which i already have. Thanks. |
Please can anyone help me with any tracks by Nosa (the guy who sang 'Always Pray For You') apart from that song please? Thanks guys. |
Great job you guys are doing here as you all add a really funny dimension to the show. Unfortunately what i find funny is the fact that no one seems to be analysing this game quite as accurately as was done in past editions. Back then, a whole cast of characters on this forum would accurately predict nominations (as in who each housemate would nominate), predict the save and replace, predict the housemate who gets evicted, predict Big Brother's twists. This forum was like an oracle then. Who remembers what i'm talking about? I don't have as much time as i once did to watch and post, but i always swing by here to read the posts. This would appear to be THE AMAKA's season and she appears to be holding it down pretty well though she's still a ways off the incisive analysis we've seen in the past. Montelik, as always, a voice of reason, imbued with great clarity of thought, a good reader of the game, unfortunately also doesn't seem to have as much time as he once did to watch and post. Here's an example of people reading the game wrong. Ganjafama:When Danny was evicted from Heads House, he was asked who he'd miss the most from the Big Brother House, and he said Luclay. And then he is reunited with luclay in Tails, becomes Head of House in a week where Luclay is on the chopping block, and you think he'd save Bhoke? In seasons past, you'd be laughed off the thread for even raising such an improbable scenario. Everything that happens in that house forms a chain of events that influences the actions of every housemate. You need to look at the big picture to be able to correctly rationalize the housemates' choices. If you look at a set of choices out of context, you'll consistently get the wrong answer. Here's another
on the montelik - BABE! analysis i pitch my tent with montelik. Bulls.h.i.t might get you far but it won't keep you here. Thank God she will be up today for eviction, enough of theories, let's see the facts!
The fact that Karen is brash and confrontational doesn't mean that there aren't other hidden animosities between the housemates smouldering just beneath the surface. If you looked closely enough you'd realise that only two people had an overwhelming need to nominate Karen, everybody else had someone else they disliked more. Was anyone surprised when Kim nominated Karen for trying to make her and Mumba fight? Or is anyone under any illusions that Karen will ever get off Bhoke's nomination list after their 'Brawl in the Bedroom?' There's so much more i would like to say but, time is the enemy. Good job guys. Keep it up. You get a 100% for effort. But i do miss the old days. ![]() |
Guys, please i'm looking for a track that has a chorus that says something about 'you dey run your mouth' or 'dem dey run their mouth' i don't remember exactly which it was. The rap is in pidgin and yoruba, if i remember clearly. Please help with details and download link. Thanks. |
What, no nominations updates? You guys have got to be kidding me! |
meggy 11:Never say never. Stranger things have happened on Big Brother. ![]() |
Yeah, finally my Channel 198 came onstream this morning. Saw the Premiere but my subscription expired the next day and it took three days to get me back on. No thanks to the blasted so called super dealers of DSTV who could not activate the channel for me. One trip to Multichoice yesterday evening promptly sorted me out. A word of warning: If you are on the compact bouquet and you are having problems with Channel 198, go directly to Multichoice (DO NOT GO TO A SUPER DEALER. IN PARTICULAR, AVOID THE SUPER DEALER ON IREWOLE STREET IN OPEBI, LAGOS LIKE THE PLAGUE.)When going to Multichoice, make sure your decoder is on and you have someone at home you can receive confirmation from. DO NOT TAKE YOUR SMARTCARD WITH YOU TO MULTICHOICE. Also, try not to let your subscription expire before you renew, or else you're sure to miss more than you bargained for. I appear to have missed quite a bit, like the first kiss and the beginnings of romance between the south african guy and the Angolan chic (got that nugget of info from the strap. any truth in it?) But i'm sure i'll catch up pretty quickly with the highlights shows and 24 hours of viewing over the weekend. hehehe. Karen karen karen. Everyone is talking about her. With good reason too. Chic's got dumps like a truck. £5000 worth of silicone. She's been the cynosure of all eyes despite being the wrong side of pretty. Also got an interesting parallel between her and our two previous winners of Big Brother. Kevin and Uti both entered for The Next Movie Star before going on to win Big Brother. Well, Karen too was in The Next Movie Star. Anyone else thinking what i'm thinking? ![]() |

obinna5000:@Obinna5000 I have my doubts too as i think 'In a better world' winning the Golden Globe might have placed it in pole position for the Oscar. But Javier Bardem is in Biutiful. Nuff said. lol. @Vescucci Yeah Alice didn't make it into Best Make up. Funny huh? |
Lord of the Rings everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. There's simply no contest. |
vescucci:@Vescucci Dude, if Alice in Wonderland wins Best Make Up, it would be a truly epoch making event because it would be the first time a movie would win an Oscar in a category it wasn't even nominated for. Trust me on this list dude. Inception will win a number of technical Oscars for sound and visual effects but it won't win Best Score. As for Best Song, its a wide-open field meaning any movie could win. I picked 'Toy Story 3,' because it has the most recognizable name (Randy Newman). But don't count out Danny Boyle collaborator A.R. Rahman, who won two years ago for 'Slumdog Millionaire' and who could possibly win again this year with 'If i Rise' from 127 Hours. But 'Tangled'? Naaah, i don't think so. |
And here are the Oscar Winners as they will be announced on Sunday (thanks to a leak from the Academy )Best Picture: The King's Speech Best Director: David Fincher (The Social Network) Best Actor: Colin Firth (The King's Speech) Best Actress: Natalie Portman (Black Swan) Best Supporting Actor: Christian Bale (The Fighter) Best Supporting Actress: Hailee Steinfield (True Grit) Best Original Screenplay: The King's Speech Best Adapted Screenplay: The Social Network Best Animated Film: Toy Story 3 Best Foreign Film: Biutiful Best Art Direction: Inception Best Cinematography: True Grit Best Costume Design: Alice in Wonderland Best Sound Editing: Inception Best Visual Effects: Inception Best Film Editing: The Social Network Best Makeup: The Wolfman Best Score: The Social Network Best Song: We Belong Together (Toy Story 3) Best Short Film Animated: Day & Night Best Short Film live: The Confession Best Documentary Feature: Exit Through the Giftshop Best Documentary Short: Killing in the Name Keep this list with you on Oscar night and your folks will think you've become a prophet. ![]() |
@Chuks84 Dude, sometimes maintaining your musical credibility requires exercising restraint in publishing your opinions. Craze obviously flew over your head and there is no way anyone can explain the concept to you. that track was a work of art, from the lyrics to the delivery to that hook (which was the very embodiment of craze) it all fitted together to paint a holistic picture of what the artiste was trying to convey. sadly you somehow missed it. Pity. @rap junkie I'm laughing with you bruv. That album is simply classic. |
Rich Dad:Are you the only person who doesn't know that Spartacus is battling cancer which has caused season 2 to be delayed? They needed to have a way to sustain the following for the series. That's why they came up with a prequel 'Gods of the Arena.' Smart move if you ask me. Yet to watch any episode but if the production values remain the same as in Season 1 of Spartacus, i'm sure it will be something to watch. |
Lawyer: Do you think i deserve your full attention? Mark Zuckerberg: I had to swear an oath before we began this deposition and i don't want to perjure myself, so i have a legal obligation to say no. Lawyer: Okay, No. You don't think i deserve your full attention? Mark Zuckerberg: you have part of my attention. You have the minimum amount. The rest of my attention is back at the offices of Facebook where my colleagues and i are doing things that no one in this room, including and especially your clients, are intellectually or creatively capable of doing. Did i adequately answer your condescending question? 'The Social Network.' |
Please who is this guy? Writing no be by force o. My candid advice? Take up truck driving or typewriter maintenance or anything that doesn't require you to have a shred of credibility. |
Heard 'Give it to me' in a club yet? It is targeted music and it was targeted squarely for the clubs. And it scores brilliantly there because when that song comes on, (please pardon the pun) the club goes ballistic. Didn't like it to listen to, but its a joy to dance to. |
