I am currently running successful businesses which give me a steady minimum of N1.5M per month with a potential for expansion. I have been nursing the idea of going to UK on a study Visa by September this year with the hope that I can get a well paying job that could surpass my current earnings here in naijja. I also intend to keep my naija business running but we all know trusting people with kind of investment can be tricky and risky.
What assurance do I have about earning more and having a better life in UK? What happens to my businesses I already built up in Naija? What happens to my properties here in naija?

When a call came in and i guess his guy answered it forgetting that it was connected to speaker.

I swear we were confused at first then the guy holding the phone was trying his best to end the call but i dont know why it took that long to end it.

I can understand how you will be feeling right now Cox the little Experience I got while I was on 12 hours trip to Ethiopia ( Adaddis ababa )....even Without snow, my heart, lungs were seriously shivering ....to make the matter worse, I thought if I had a drink ( beer ) it would make my body hot oo.....when I sip the Beer like this, it was like swallowing real Ice oo....it was then I did what I had not done before in my life oo....just to save my shivering heart and lungs, I then took their weed oo when I couldn't get a cigarette Cox I used to watch white men smoking during winter on TV, hmmm....this made matter worse oo....I nearly run mad....was seeing everyone as tiny as an ant �....infact, it was really a bad Experience..... I love the pictures you have been sharing with us this season. But I just want to share this my first experience Of White Christmas with you and everyone.
As a teenager, I always loved watching or seeing Hollywood Christmas movies especially on Hallmark movies Channel. Its something I looked forward to every Christmas.
The best part was always the part they play in the snow, build snow men or when I hear stuff like; "its white Christmas!" I remember I used to wish we had snow during Christmas in Naija. I would have given anything to convince God to change our yeye harmattan to winter.
Anyway to cut this long story short, somehow I traveled abroad and it was a wonderful experience. All my mind was like; finally, I will experience white Christmas. November arrived, and the cold was okay. Snow came and I was waiting for the type I used to see on TV.
When December arrived with the snow, I just began packing my bags. The cold no be here! It felt like living inside the freezer. Infact it was worse. My heart nearly froze. It was under a thick blanket and with my heater running at full blast 24/7 that I realized white Christmas na Scam. It is fine only in the movies ooh. Infact, the cold made our cold harmattan Christmas feel like childs play. I could not even go out not to talk of building snow man abi woman.That was how my childhood dreams came crashing down on me �
I am happily back and enjoying the Christmas season and our local delicacies with friends and family. Our electricity is not stable but the weather is simply the best for a Christmas celebration and I am loving our harmattan season with my full chest.

My father is not a learned person but he make sure all his children are graduates. My younger brother(last born and only son) rounded up his Nysc few months ago, we're just 2 girls. My elder sis and I. My elder sis is a nurse in Austria (3 years now), she's married with a kid in Austria. My big sister send money home once in 3 months, and I have been the one receiving the money. I share the money exactly as instructed by my big sis. I have never cheated anyone, Infact my Dad and Big sis communicate very well. My Dad trust me so much.
My younger brother is always angry, He said he feel cheated all the time. He shouts and talks to me anyhow like I'm his mate. Honestly speaking, I gave my younger brother more love and respect that he could ever imagine. When he was serving, he would call telling me he need 10k urgently, sometimes 20k, that he will pay back. Immediately I will send it to him and he would never pay back. Same thing he does to my father. If we ask him what's he using his allawee for?? He would angrily say so is becus we're sending him "chicken change" that's why we're asking jamb questions.
He said we don't regard him, he called my Dad a SIMP, he said my Dad listen more to my big sis and I....but he don't listen to any of his suggestions.
My brother is a 2:1 (second class upper) graduate in economics from UNIBEN. After his Nysc all he does is to sleep and eat. My Dad's good friend told my brother to come to Lagos and resume work with him. He refused. My Dad ask him if he wants to further his education (masters or professional courses)he said no....Okay follow my Dad to his cement shop and help him (my dad even promised to pay him salary) he refused....I overheard him on a call with a friend and i suspect he's now into yahoo yahoo.
Look at what happened. My big sis sent us money yesterday to celebrate this festive period. She said I should give my brother 50k, I should take 80k and give my father the rest (abt 250k). My Dad is always aware of everything. I even added 20k out of my money and I transferred 70k to my brother, I was left with 60k (becus she also sent me hair and I plan to sell it becus I already had enough). You can imagine this ungrateful idiot started insulting me, that I cheated him. the fool angrily withdrawn the money from his account and SET IT ON FIRE (70k). He called my elder sister and started warning her saying "if he can't receive the money henceforth, she should stop sending him money again that he's the man of the house". My Dad gave him a resetting, resounding, hot and dirty slaps. He pulled out a knife, deflated my Dad's car tyres and ran away from the house.
Everyone is not happy. I don't want my brother to live a wayward life. He's 24 years old. Please nairalanders Help!
Vegetable soup is enjoyed by many. It's one of my favorite soup and it's quite affordable. It can work with your budget and it is very nutritious. I budgeted #1,500 for this soup and it turned out great!!! Although I didn't buy dried fish because I had one left at home. I also didn't buy seasoning(maggi) and I had some left over palm oil at home, I just had to top it.
