Political appointees of the outgoing administration of Governor Henry Seriake Dickson protest the non-payment of their salaries and allowances in front of Government House Yenagoa.

The protesters comprises of Senior Special Assistants(SSA's), Special Advicers(SA's) and members of the Rural Development Authority(RDA), who were all appointed a few weeks to the State Gubernatorial Election which held in November 2019.

They alleged they were only paid September and October salaries and allowances before the election and have not received a dime since David Lyon of the APC was announced as the winner of the the election..

Luck ran out of two criminals who went to rob a POS point at Green Villa Road, Biogbolo, Yenagoa, with a Lexus Car.

They were caught, butchered and burnt alongside the Lexus car they came with.

At around 9pm today, a driver with a Nissan Almera suspected to be under the influence of alcohol ran into a car parked by the roadside at Azikoro village in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital...

There was no casualty or reported injury as the parked vehicle was unoccupied.

Funny enough, the driver was still sleeping as at the time of filing this report...
