Politics / Re: Enough Death Sentences To Go Round by LeFreakSoChic(f): 5:07pm On Nov 15, 2019
godofuck231:
The Senate, this week, achieved the seemingly difficult task of uniting Nigerians when it proposed a bill seeking the death penalty for hate speech offenders.

I quote the op, so did you read this section?

If you read properly, the writer meant that Nigerians are already divided due to tribalism, issues bordering on religion and so on, and that the controversy the bill generated united Nigerians to form one voice to speak against the passing.

This is also hate speech on democracy ,it is an assault on freedom and our way of life no man will be free to air his views, every dictators dream is to gag the press , people and opposition

Did we read the same thing?

In other words, the bill shouldn't fly when there arent any laws in place to treat the Bleep up of our thieving politicians and law enforcement beaches?

Religion / Re: Alleged Tax Default: FIRS’ Action Embarrassing – Assemblies Of God Church by LeFreakSoChic(f): 3:11pm On Aug 22, 2019
The problem is not about freezing the accounts. It how they go about it.You just don't go through a company bank account and because it has 100million naira turnover, you freeze the account. Put a call to FIRS and ask if they for once asked any question about the funds. Now lets talk about the church own. Have they asked questions to determine if the funds in the account was as a result of commercial activities carried out or donations. Like i said, the FIRS of today is all about gra gra and wrong interpretation of law, the same way it was done during the LIRS days.

Politics / Re: Abba Kyari Queries Tunde Fowler Over Tax Collections by LeFreakSoChic(f): 1:39pm On Aug 19, 2019
Origin:
Tax collection will get worse over time...

The bulk of taxes collected by Fowler during his time at LIRS and later at FIRS were mainly arrears...

That is unpaid taxes or reviewed taxes from previous years. As the backlog are cleared and paid up, the taxes due become the annual taxes only.....

So there will be a reduction in taxes....although a proper analysis of taxes based on the years taxes are attributable to could be a better basis for comparison.

SPOT ON!!!!!! You know your onions. What they have been collecting are all arrears. You would see this years collection after they are done with the backlog. The audit carried out on the companies is nothing to write home about. By the time they finish auditing all the companies to last year and all backlogs cleared, where do you think they would be getting new collections from. No wonder they are putting liens on bank accounts anyhow not following the due process and trying to bring out different laws all to beef up collections. Na siddon i dey look. We would see the magic that wants to happen

I wonder how this country will progress with the caliber of civil servants we have. No wonder govt policies remain unimplementable and ineffective at best. Fowler was appointed based on merit from Lagos State. If proven technocrats will not be allowed to perform in civil service, then it's a pity.

lol at merit... i have nothing against fowler but pleaseee he is not a saint not even after wanting FIRS to spend about N188,000 to sew each driver’s uniform and N825 million for refreshment grin grin grin. So because he performed well at LIRS....when things are going bad within his organisation, they should turn a blind eye.. let leave performance at one side......what really has be done..he achieved 5.3 trillion which even going by the recent FIRS collection from time past....the achievement of 5.3 trillion was still going to be achieved. It was even during his tenure he collected below par in the first three years. My point is that in as much he is doing a good job, we shouldn't throw the grievances of the staff under the carpet

How much are they generating before he became chairman of firs, and how much are they generating now? Useless sponsord group

2011 - 4,628.50

2012 - 5,007.70

2013 - 4, 805.6

2014 - 4, 714.6

2015 - 3, 741.8

2016 - 3, 307.5

2017 - 4,027.94

2018 - 5,320.52

Not much of a difference though he has attained the highest ever in 2018, Firs had been collecting in the range of over 4.7 trillion in the past. Nothing significant

Oga Seun, please do something about these idiots that post betting nonsense on threads.

Meanwhile, the North owns Nigeria. Sad but true.
To be honest, they own the monopoly of violence because they do not value human life. It's just so pathetic that we share the same country with them, given that they are even the ones keeping the country back in the stone age.

There are solutions to this menace but they would not do anything about it. It is well.

My advice for our sophisticated brothers, to be landlord no be by garagara. Chinedu build house no mean say you must build. It is better you manage your brown roof hut than kill yourself competiting with an Igbo man that doesn't even know you exist.

I don't talk my own. I don waka comot.

They can never do without duping and fraud. Their contractor keep buying inferior thing just to dupe the owner of the house, Ndi oshi.

Politics / Re: Why Is Jimi Agbaje Always Playing The Politics Of Tribalism In Lagos? by LeFreakSoChic(f): 10:59am On Mar 07, 2019
It's because our people from the East are easily patronised, emotionally.
Just say what they want to hear and watch them support you all the way, even if you had wrong them woefully in the past.
Take FFK for example, who'd have thunk they would be full of praises for him these past years after all the vitriol he's thrown their way?
Just tell them what they need to hear and we are good to go.
