Evening house.

Please I need help with my situation.
My application was refused January 13 on the ground of insufficient financial resources. It was done through a registered agent over there. School resumes May and I want to reapply by myself. I have worked on the reason for my refusal but the Agent is asking me to pay another 1k for reapplication.

I Don't have that kind of money. And unfortunately I can't access my portal as my agent doesn't want to release the info.and Time is ticking.May is around the corner. I don't want to loose this admission without at least trying. Please can anyone help on how to go about this.I also want to order my gcms notes.

Please elders in the house I will appreciate your contribution.

God bless you all.

Order gcms documents. You will receive all documents submitted for your application.

Please order from 2-3 companies so you can pick the earliest.

GCMS documents.

This is different from gcms notes.

You can also order for note to know why you were refused

Good morning house,

What advise you can give to someone who have ND and HND in accounting, with a study gap of 12 years and his 40 yrs of age.

I work as a project accounting manager with a construction company.

Please any course I can apply for and School?

I don't mind if someone here can help me with the processing and I will pay for the service.

I'm married with 3 kids

You are doing something with the gap.

Try post degree diploma in accounting at Langara College, Vancouver. Most post degree programs cost $12,000 per year. 2 years post-degree diploma in accounting will be good.

Hi everyone!
I’m confused about if I should inform IRCC about my new LOA.

I already have my passport stamped for fall 2022 but my ppr came after the semester has already started so I deferred my admission to Spring 2023 (May) because there was no seat available for Winter intake at the time of my deferral.

My questions are:
1. Do I have to inform IRCC about it. (Note that my application has been processed and a decision has been made)
2. Will Study Permit be issued based on validity of LOI or based on the date on my new LOA at Port of Entry.

If the difference in resumption date is more than 5 months. You need to inform ircc

Your matter is very simple. Okay?

Here is the 15 minutes process as posted by Olasubomi in 2020.

I am happy to guide you on what to do. Follow the below steps:

1. Click on this link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html, go to option 1 and register as a new user on the "Don't have an account" tab.

2, Create all the Security questions and answer that the system would prompt you.

3, Once you are done creating your account, you would see in blueprint a link reading "Add (link) your application to your account". Please click it.

4, Refer to the screenshot below. You will see different selections to choose from ( the screenshot will guide you) :

* Under Category, select temporary residence
* Under Subcategory, select study permit and extension
* Under Application details, select family name, given name and date of birth ( Being you might not know your application number and UCI due to the denial by your agent, but if you know these numbers, select application number and UCI)
* Under Applicants Personal information, select passport then enter your passport details
* Under Information about applicant's study in Canada, enter details as on your admission letter, which was declared in your application and your DLI number.
* Once this is entered and you review all details, click search for my application. It will open a new page.
* This new page will ask you to fill out a form to disassociate yourself from your agent. Fill this form to the best of your knowledge and attach and continue, then you should have your account linked.

NB: Once you enter all details correctly and it gives you an error message, and you try this twice, please wait for another 24 hours before trying again because the system allows one to try to link only 5 attempts, after which it would lock you out . Please wait for another 24 hours to try again should in case it gives an error when you click "Search for my application"

I hope this helps!

Travel / Breaking News: Nigerian Students In Canada Can Now Work Full Time by Legacyedition: 2:22pm On Oct 07, 2022
https://www.cicnews.com/2022/10/breaking-canada-to-allow-international-students-to-work-off-campus-over-20-hours-per-week-1031301.html

International students can now work full time from November 15, 2022 to December 2023.

From November 15, 2022 until December 31, 2023, international students who are in Canada and have off-campus work authorization on their study permit will be allowed to work over 20 hours per week off-campus while class is in session.

This temporary measure will also apply to foreign nationals who have already submitted a study permit application as of today. They will also be able to benefit from this policy if Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada approves their application.

Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced this major reform this morning in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa.

Fraser explained this measure aims to alleviate the labour shortages that are being experienced across Canada.

Canada is grappling with historic labour shortages and an unemployment rate which is low by historical standards. Earlier this morning, Statistics Canada reported that Canada’s unemployment rate fell to 5.2 per cent in September, down from 5.4 per cent in August

BREAKING: Canada to allow international students to work off-campus over 20 hours per weekImmigration Minister Sean Fraser has announced a new temporary measure aimed at alleviating Canada's historic labour shortages. Fraser says this will allow over 500,000 international students already in Canada to potentially work more hours.

Earlier this morning, Statistics Canada reported that Canada’s unemployment rate fell to 5.2 per cent in September, down from 5.4 per cent in August.

At present, international students who apply to study in an eligible Canadian educational program may get authorized to work off-campus during their studies for up to 20 hours per week. This limit is lifted during scheduled breaks such as the summer and winter holidays. This policy allows international students to support themselves financially while also seeking to ensure that they remain focused on completing their studies rather than be focused on working in Canada. Facing nearly one million job vacancies, however, has resulted in the Canadian government easing this rule for the time being.

Fraser noted this measure will allow over 500,000 eligible international students already in Canada to potentially work more hours.

Canada is among the world’s leading destinations of international students. In 2021, it hosted over 620,000 international students, a figure which has tripled over the past two decades. Canada issued nearly 450,000 new study permits last year alone. Demand to study in Canada remains strong due to various factors, such as the quality of the country’s educational institutions, multiculturalism, affordability of the Canadian dollar, and the work and permanent residence opportunities that the country offers.

Fraser also pointed out in today’s announcement that Canada has already processed more than 452,000 study permit applications between January and August of 2022, a 23 per cent increase compared to the 367,000 processed over the same period in 2021. As such, Canada has already broken the record it set last year for study permits processed in a calendar year.

The majority of international students report they are interested in remaining in Canada as permanent residents upon completing their studies, according to research by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).

Statistics Canada research shows that international students who go on to gain permanent residence tend to integrate quickly into the Canadian labour market due to factors such as their Canadian work and study experience, as well as English and/or French language proficiency.

This explains why Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) offers a host of measures aimed at helping international graduates work in Canada and remain here.

IRCC offers the popular Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). The PGWP enables eligible international students to get an open work permit that has a validity period that corresponds with the length of their educational program in Canada. Open work permits allow foreign nationals to work for any employer of their choice in Canada. The maximum PGWP validity period is three years. PGWP holders can then gain the professional Canadian work experience they often need to become eligible for an economic class immigration program. The most prominent immigration pathways offered by IRCC fall under the Express Entry system, with PGWP holders commonly pursuing permanent residence through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program.

Provinces and territories across Canada also reward international graduates with domestic work experience. Quebec and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams across the country offer permanent residence pathways to international graduates as a means of encouraging them to remain in the province or territory and continuing to contribute to the labour market as immigrants.

Canada has increasingly looked to international students as a key source of permanent residents in recent years, especially during the pandemic. For instance, IRCC relied significantly on international graduates to achieve its target of landing over 405,000 new immigrants in 2021, breaking Canada’s record for new landed immigrants in a year. IRCC did this by inviting and landing large numbers of Canadian Experience Class candidates. In addition, it introduced a time-limited Temporary Residence to Permanent Residence (TR2PR) program in 2021 that enabled some 90,000 temporary residents to apply for immigration.

Minister Fraser also has a mandate from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to identify additional ways for international students and temporary foreign workers to gain permanent residence via Express Entry. In addition, Fraser tabled a strategy in September outlining how the government aims to help more temporary residents gain permanent residence. The strategy contains five pillars, such as modernizing the immigration system to improve application processing times. We will gain greater insights on the Canadian government’s newcomer strategy when they table their new Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025 by November 1st.

HOWEVER, I strongly suggest that you buy the noodles in Canada. They go for $0.17 to $0.50 each depending on location.

There is nothing to see in stopover unless you are stepping out of the airport or it’s just only 3 hours max.
The max stopover I have experienced is 3 hrs and Its the worst, because our flight got to Lisbon early.
I promised myself since then never to wait for more than 2 hrs except I want to step out around the airport.

I enjoyed my 12 hours stopover at Heathrow airport, London. I even did massage within the airport and met nice people. Didn't go outta the airport.

I'll order for my GCMS notes today for the detailed refusal reasons by the V.O so i can repackage and reapply when it drops...I'll be in Canada before resumption date in September sha by Gods grace, IRCC cannot stop my shine. Goodevening House,
Please I have couple of questions, I really need clarifications.

1. Must my proposed course of study relate to my current work? For example, I am a tax administrator but I want to go for Supply Chain Management and Logistics, although is a Postgraduate Certificate Program. Will this limit my chances?

2. I just read about study gap, I finished schooling 2017 but I have been working since then. Will this study gap also hinder my chances?

Thanks in advance, waiting patiently for a response.

1. As regards choice of career/academic progression. A Judge at the Federal Court of Canada had told Visa Officers to refrain from unnecessary career counseling and refusing applications on such grounds. A statement in his ruling below.

Second, I disagree with the Respondent’s argument that the decision is otherwise reasonable. Having reviewed the Applicant’s educational plan myself, it is clear that at no point does she ask for career counseling advice. Yet this Visa Officer apparently fancied the opportunity to assume the role of career counsellor and opine that the Applicant’s intended studies in Canada would not enhance her work for her brother. Such extraneous considerations make it obvious that the Visa Officer engaged in an unreasonable review of the evidence.

Adom v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration)

You can also read up the case for proper understanding and using the court case/file number to back up your claims.

Screenshot attached

2. Just explain what you've been doing since 2017.
