Provide links both on nairaland and outside it.
no need doing that, my last statement is something we are all conversant with on nairaland. To an average Yoruba man, tinubu is a god, no other placard can be clearer than that.

Yorubas respect him not for his corruption. You will never see Yorubas taking placards and protesting his prosecution or did you see it happen when the code of conduct bureau was trying him back during Yar'adua or is it OBJ's regime?
yes, people carried placard in support of tinubu, are you in Nigeria at all?

Either ways, yorubas see tinubu as a god, its way more than carrying placard on his behalf, and the dude is corrupt.

EducationAgain, Imo State Tops Jamb Registration Statistics by legislatively(op): 11:00pm On May 09, 2017
For the second year running, Imo topped the number of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) applications with 101, 868 in 2017, JAMB Registrar, Is-haq Oloyede has disclosed.

The registrar said this during a briefing with reporters on Tuesday in Abuja ahead of the unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME) billed to start on Saturday in 642 computer based test (CBT) centres across the country.

According to him, Imo, Osun, and Oyo topped the list of those with the highest number of JAMB applications in 2017, following the applications of statistics by the state of origin.

Oloyede said Osun recorded the second highest with 88, 653 applications while Oyo recorded 87,811 applications.

The JAMB registrar said that Benue (68, 916), Kogi (70, 150) and Kano (70, 276) recorded the lowest applications.

He added that the agency registered 1.7 million candidates an increase of 464,287 candidates from last year’s 1.2 million candidates registered for the 2016 UTME,

Oloyede said: “As we set for the 2017 exercise, we have expanded on almost all the frontiers of the 2017 examinations. You may recall that last year, the examination was conducted in 524 centres. The 2017 UTME will hold simultaneously in 642 examination centres in Nigeria.

“A total number of one million, seven hundred and thirty-six thousand, five hundred and seventy-one (1,736, 571) candidates have registered for the 2017 UTME.

“We have started to install CCTV cameras at our test centres so that from the situation room, we can monitor what is going on across the country,” he said.

“At the moment, we have lodged complaints against a number of CBT centre owners for one infraction or the other and a number of them were arrested, cautioned, while others are to be prosecuted so as to serve as a deterrent to others,” he added.

PoliticsRe: Ikpeazu Flags Off Reconstruction Of Port-Harcourt Road Aba, An FG Road (Pics) by legislatively: 6:33pm On May 05, 2017
Lancasterman:
WRONG INFO.. .PortHarcourt Road in Aba is NOT a Federal Road. It is a State road that connects to Enugu-PortHarcourt Expressway. The Expressway is a Federal road. This is purposeful misinformation. Federal roads link 2 or more states together. That's what the Enugu-PortHarcourt expressway does. Port Harcourt Road Aba doesn't link Abia state and Rivers State. It connects Aba town to the Enugu-PortHarcourt expressway.. Enugu-PortHarcourt expressway is the federal government road that connects Enugu, IMO, Abia and Rivers States. Please stop spreading lies. The state should perform it's responsibility by repairing it. That road has been bad even before Orji Kalu became Abia Governor and was not repaired during T. A. Orji. They were just there stealing. I hope this isn't a media jamboree to score political points.
both portharcourt road and pH/Enugu expressway are federal roads. Port Harcourt toad links the express to ikotepene road, which is another federal road leading to akwaibom. The road is ideally meant to convey passenger from pH to akwa ibom

Oshodi means one who does the odd thing/action

Eti Osa means the edge of the lagoon

I am not sure what Eko means.

Always ask when you are not clear.

Binis ruled Lagos briefly. They never founded it neither were they the indigenous settlers.
Even then, they have lost it to the Yorubas forever.

Wake up!
oshodi is not Lagos, Lagos is quite different from what you think.
