Mariamojelabi37: Hi everyone, IRCC has requested my passport for submission. Must I book an appointment before I go there, or can I do a walk-in? You can do a walk in, don't listen to those guys that direct you the DHL office, for those in Lagos. Go directly to the VAC. |

Congrats!!! TheGreatGod: PRAISE GOD HALLELUJAH!!! GOD ALMIGHTY HAS DONE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!
If anyone doesn’t remember me, I will introduce myself briefly and will encourage some1 to click on my profile name to read a lot about me.
Some weeks ago, I was the person that was asking a question on behalf on my friend that I said he travel to UK and become overstayer for at least 4 years, did Judicial Review-one was successful while the other was unsuccessful and out of the unsuccessful Judicial Review, Home Office certify one decision as “clearly unfounded claim” but now God has done it for me.
In order words, I was the one that was disguising as my friend-you can click on my username and see more about me.
In short, with my overstayer in the UK for 4years and certified decision and JR, I put in my application for an entry clearance as a Tier 2 worker migrant (skilled worker/health and care worker) on the 8th of December 2021. The timeline are as follows:
Tier 2 (Health and Care Worker Visa) application submitted on the 8/11/21 Biometrics done on the 16/11/21 Application transferred & received by DMC on the 16/11/21 Application transferred to VAC 29/11/21 Application received by VAC 3/11/21 Passport with 3 years visa received by me on the 3/11/21. In fact I didn’t wait for the collection mail before I went there today. I arrived at 2pm, check in and received my passport with my visa
NOTE: All I will advised to people in my shoes that are U.K. overstayer with an entry ban is to return home in time, give home office about 3-5 years before you make an entry clearance application and be truthful in your application and please do not lie. Lying is not good and gather all your material evidence in order.
NOTE 2: A bit of warning to those that do mock people in this forum regarding their status, I will continue to say they are not God and they cannot know what God have for you. I can remember one person in this particular forum that mock me and say a lot of things about my UK immigration history but I told the person he/she is not my God and finally the God that I served have done it for me today and by special grace of God I will be among those that will be in the UK. God once again I thank you, you are so good to me and my family.
NOTE 3: A big appreciation to @ Bourne007, he/she is a wonderful and great person to me. He/she even asked me to obtain my SAR (subject access request) immigration history from the UKVI, which I did but till today I didn’t receive it till I applied for my visa application and received my passport today. I pray that as you meet my need my God almighty will also continue to meet your need and that of your family IJN. I am really grateful personally to you ma/sir.
Thank you all!!! UK here I come IJN, no weapon against me shall prosper IJN (Amen). |

Mine was on the 30th of September, I called their helpline though and also sent a paid mail. You might want to do that as well if you don't hear anything soon. Bobore12: I just noticed application take exactly 40 working for September and October because I did my biometric on 29 September nothing yet I’m 37 working days now so October will be out by Earlier next month |

Try 1241, best to make the calls in the evening, the later the better. Less wait time. Ennymama: Hello gurus,
Please I need your help especially those that have called their line before. So I called the line and after listening to the recorded voice, I pressed the digits: 1, then 1, then 4 and finally 1. But I was not connected to any agent, rather it says: Thank you for your time, goodbye. This is after #1194 has been deducted.
My question is this: is there anything I didn't do right or why was I not connected to an agent to speak to?
Thanks in anticipation of your responses. |

No phone number for TLS, they have a contact center for Belgian visas though that hardly connects. chima1978: Not yet. It should be with TLS as UKVI stated we need to contact our Visa application center which means to me that they have sent the passport to them. I can't find a direct number for TLS. Do you have it? |

Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by leilakhadijah(f): 11:18am On Nov 17, 2021 |
I received it yesterday afternoon. It was from the paid calls to their helpline, I followed up with them early hours on Tuesday as it was 15 working days after the first escalation. I prefer the calls as there's a more human touch to it even though they don't give much away, it's still better than those generic emails. viktoh12: This is usually good news please when did you get this mail and after how many mails? |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by leilakhadijah(f): 11:13am On Nov 17, 2021 |
Yes, only yesterday. I hope so too. Yeah, will keep everyone posted. chima1978: But you hadn't got this sort of mail until yesterday that the were going to contact the visa center immediately right? I just hope it means something and we get it this week. Keep us posted. |

I got the exact same email yesterday. Hopefully, it isn't just another way to manage us. Since the 19th of October that a decision was made, almost a month later no passport! 33 working days and counting. It is well, I believe it will be out very soon. chima1978:
Good morning, I got the above response last Thursday and I just got the email below this morning. Fingers crossed.
Dear customer
Thank you for your SITEL enquiry.
We can confirm that a decision has been made on your visa application.
We escalated this to the appropriate entry clearance team and have notified your relevant visa application centre – please make contact with them direct.
This means you will receive your visa decision and passport back as soon as possible.
Kind Regards
UK VISA AND IMMIGRATION (UKVI)

Did anyone else get a similar email?

When did you go for Biometrics? Christmas is still weeks away. Looks like the average is 8 weeks. Stay positive. chima1978: I'm in trouble oooo as I doubt I will see a decision made anytime soon. I am so nervous that I will spend Christmas again this year without my family who are in the UK. I sent a paid email today to UKVI enquiring about my application and I got the following response:
Dear XXXXXXX, Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre. With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, I can confirm that your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision. Because 15 working days have passed I am escalating your case to the decision makers to let them know to get into contact with you regarding the decision
Thank you for your query from the information you have provided, we have escalated your case to the relevant department on 11-11-2021 and you should be contacted within 15 working days. Please wait until the 15 working days have passed before contacting the service again as we are unable to do anything further before this time.
We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents. Regards,
Zain UK Visas and Immigration |

It shouldn't be an issue. The transit visa permits you to land at the airport and catch a connecting flight to your final destination. As long as you're not setting foot outside the Airport, you're good. Shakiratemma: Anyone pls? |
