There's nothing like Yoruba Muslim, Yoruba is Yoruba. I don't support his statement too, but that's what religion has caused , people support religion more than tribe.. So a US citizen is the almighty human better than any other person, if they should invade your community the way they did to those innocent people they invaded their countries and maybe your family went for it, then you'll know.
