All those verses favouring Jesus, and perhaps not siding Jesus than Muhammad is there because we believe in him as Allah commanded, but not as a God or as a son and not as the best after Muhammad.

So it's either u believe in the Quran or u believe what the Quran said about Jesus are all false since Qur'an is not divine, and if u believe in all what it said about Jesus, that means you believe it's true thereby, you'll believe in the remaining part.

Many are too quick to claim Ilorin as a Fulani city.

It baffles me when people boldly say Ilorin is a Fulani city, I wonder if people do travel to Ilorin or they did but just trying to conceal the truth.

Ilorin is a city predominantly occupied by the Yorubas, In fact they're even protecting the Yoruba culture than some of the SW States, they're no different from the Oyo people. The fact that they've some Fulani among them or a Fulani ruling them doesn't mean the Fulani own the city.

You can never be in Ilorin city and hear people speak Fulani except in their core midst, even the Fulanis there have been yorubalized, they display themselves as Yoruba. they're minorities there.

And why is a Fulani ruling Ilorin?

Ilorin was formerly under the control of ancient Oyo empire, Afonja who was a very powerful man had a fight with the then Alaafin of Oyo (king of Oyo), but one thing or the other haopend that he had to run from Oyo to settle in Ilorin. when he got to Ilorin, he met Alimi, Alimi was a Fulani man and a pious Islamic preacher.

When Alimi was in Ilorin, the Ilorin people liked him because he was so good to them, he preached something unfamiliar that sounds great, he settled dispute between couples and made everywhere peaceful and relating them to the teaching of Islam.

The Ilorin people decided to pay him gratitude for what he has done for them by requesting that he become their ruler but he declined. After so much persistence, he accepted that his son should become the ruler instead of him.

So the people of Ilorin willingly gave him as a sign of gratitude, it's a known tradition of the Yorubas to pay their benefactor a big gift for anything they do, they pay them back better, they didn't forcefully have it, that's why they can't just demand it back today cos they knew they were the one that gave it to them willingly.

So the fact that they rule doesn't mean they own it, and if you doubt, you can travel to Ilorin and see for yourself. before you can find someone that speak Fulani, you would've already find one thousand Yoruba speakers
