Before Sunday comes, I want to give a special shout out to the real MVP of the series. Responsible for sending two kings (Joff and Bobby B) to the seventh hell, almost did Dany in if not for Ser Friendzone back then in s01. What's the possibility it consumes Cersei this season?

Thank you Wine for the job so far. Please keep giving Tyrion inspiration for all those memorable quotes.

Ygtitte's death hurts? One of the best riddances if you ask me.

The others are Ned's and Caitlyn's.

Eventual ones would be Daenerys' and Jon's.
I don't really like Jon's dialogue scenes. Too dark, too serious, too moody. Ygritte lightened them up.

I didn't even mind Ned dying. That's what actually made me love GoT. Baelish dying pained me but I think that had to do with the show shifting from politics to 'Apocalypse' .

basically. The battle of the bastards was really good. I think the scene where the sandsnake girls were killed was good as well..dunno what the name of the fight was. Winter is indeed here!!!!
That would have been my no. 6

A real naval battle!! Euron capturing/killing Yara and the Snakes. Theon running away like the eunuch coward that he is. It was complete.

1. Battle of the Bástards (Many epic movies can't even boast of scenes half as good)

TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by LeSulk(m): 2:17pm On Apr 10, 2019
2. Battle of Blackwater Bay (The show would have ended here if not for Tyrion)

3. Battle of Hardhome (IMO, the only thing that made s05 worthwhile)

Expecting more stunning battles this season. I hope the battle of Winterfell will surpass those we've seen so far. To me, the top 5 battles are

5. Battle of the Goldroads (Highgarden to Blackwater)

They should be left abroad where they are valued, then maybe a part of the money made from them can be sent to Nigeria. If brough back to Nigeria , we won't value them. They'll just lay idle. One group of Christians can just wake up and destroy them calling them demonic.
It's ours. It's ours. Whether we mismanage it or not, is up to us. If they had any decency, they'd at least have been paying royalty (no pun intended).
Do you really think if Nigeria sent agents to steal the crown jewels from London, they'll let us display it boldly at Onikan?

Hey man. Goals are what wins Games. Because you play better, passed better, tackled better does not mean you are supposed to win. If you dont score, you lose.
You've said it all. It's the goals that count. True, SA dominated (they were at home btw) but they didn't really have much chances on goal.
Not counting the disllowed goals, we had Omeruo's miss, Ogu's header that was cleared off the line, Ekong's miss and of course, Ịheanachọ's masterclass. grin
They were all good scoring chances.

What I don't understand though, is why SA played this game like they've already qualified.

Not a fan of the coach but lets be honest,in the last few years, this is the best the national team has been playing for a while.as someone who grew up watching the 94 eagles, these bunch do give me some confidence though they could do better
Remember the days when we used to play 'the hopeful long ball'. (Between 2007-2014)
Things have changed a lot since then. Then we hardly got goals away (be it Morocco or Mozambique) let alone win away.

My only problem with Rohr is that he doesn't seem to change or adapt his tactics to the current matchplay.

Sometimes I wonder how the world would have been if the Germans had won
Only God knows.
There's a video game about that though . Name's Wolfenstein. But seriously Earth would have been 'purged' by now. No Jews, No Blacks, No Arabs, No Latinos, No Asians just Aryans. Or maybe they'd pack all other races and dump all of them in Africa.

We just got involved in another country's wars. End of. No recognition, no nothing. Our numbers were used as cannon fodder nothing more. It pains me that even till today, if WW3 sets, the same scenario may play again.
I read one history book written by the Brits in the '70s and there was NO MENTION of the contribution Africa had to the war. But trust them to take all the glory for themselves :
"Only Britain stood against the might of Germany and their allies."

I get this feeling people don't agree with you cause of Russia's UEFA membership (Middle Eastern country like Israel has one too) . If only they could just swallow their pride for a second and do some research. No one has the monopoly of knowledge. If you see anything that challenges what you once considered as fact, the best you can do is to do a research. We learn everyday and that's why I once loved NL until it went to the dogs.
GamingRe: List Of Most Iconic Video Game Characters. by LeSulk(m): 7:47pm On Sep 01, 2018
Always knew this would be a difficult list i.e the OP must definitely step on toes. I think he's right to exclude the fighting/arcade games characters as well as CJ. At least, CJ isn't even a recurring character in the GTA universe.

They prolly have case files of all Govt officials (some may even date back to 1999 and beyond) including the likes of Ngige and Amaechi. The day any of them switch sides, they'll dust it from the cabinet and start their blackmail.

A little feet-dragging by the Croatian FA would have enabled the team compete and complete the tournament with focus.

Now they'll just go the same way as Spain.
SportsRe: Leon Balogun Talks On How Super Eagles Can Get Better by LeSulk(m): 4:41pm On Jul 09, 2018
We have zero grassroots football in Nigeria and you guys expect the players/coaches to perform wonders. When u hear the likes of Messi started playing amateur soccer at age 5 you try to compare him to players who wore their first soccer boot (albeit second hand) at age 15.They can't give what they don't have.

The problem impeding our football is not just a Nigeria problem but an African one. We always enter matches as underdogs rather than favorites. It takes a fluke(or flukes) for the underdog to overcome the favorite.

Someone was talking of us recruiting world class players. FFS, this is international football, we can't just sign players like it's done in club football. Our players are average and that's how it's always gonna be in the nearest foreseeable future. Get used to that.

And before you say we should select players from the local league, ensure you first watch them at CHAN tournaments.

IMO, we neither over achieved nor underachieved at this World Cup.

Op is either didn't do a proper research or is from the famous Indomie Generation. Most slangs you listed there were already known and popular even before those hits came out.

you are right, Ogbunike cave has been the most popular but Ogba Ukwu is much more amazing though it has not been fully promoted by the Anambra state government. I hope you make out time to visit, you would be amazed by the beauty of that place.
It is located in Owerre -Ezukala, Orumba south LGA anambra state.
We also have Ogba cave in Unubi, Nnewi South LGA. The Op could have put a more specific location. Ours looks very much like this.

Only that just about anybody cannot enter willy-nilly. And you'll have to take off your shoes and metal objects (watch, keys, belts etc)
