In a recent interview with Saturday Beatz, Nollywood actress turned Pastor, Patience
Ozokwor said people can still call her Mama G even though she’s now a born again.


On giving her life to christ, the actress said,


“I did not just give my life to Christ. I have been a Christian all my life. The
problem was that there were some compromises God wanted me to remove from my
life. He wants me to be the face of Christianity so that when anyone sees me, they
will know that I am a child of God. The world has mingled with the church a lot and
there is no difference between the world and the church.

The way the worldly people dress is the way Christians are dressing nowadays. God
told me he does not want his people to dress in that manner anymore. The men
would plait their hair and use earrings, all these things are making God angry and even
the women should be modest according to the way it is written in the Bible. People
should be known to be Christians through the way they dress, talk and approach life
situations. You cannot call yourself a Christian and you drink alcohol. God does not
want all that. I did not just repent now, I have been a born again Christian all these
years, it is just that everybody has gone astray and we are now like unbelievers. That
is what God said.

“It is not true that I said I do not want to be referred to as Mama G. I did not say
so. It is the people that want to sell their papers that told that lie. God did not say I
should retire from my work; after all, we act dramas in church. He did not tell me to
stop acting and he did not tell me to stop bearing Mama G. Mama G is not a bad
name, there are people who have bad names and he said they should drop them.
Mine is not bad. The meaning of Mama means mother and the G stands for General.
I am everybody’s mother.

Even the scripture says that I am a mother to everybody, even the motherless children.
I am just lucky because everything is falling into place. My name is not bad. The
world should know that Mama G is still Mama G; I am still Mama General and in
other parts of Africa, they call me Mama Africa. How can I deny my fans of that?
God did not ask me to quit my job, neither did he say I should renounce the name
Mama G because there is nothing wrong with the name. However, if he asks me to
stop bearing the name, I will throw it away because it is all about what he wants and
not what any man wants.”


Speaking further, She said,


“My faith would not affect my career or movie roles. The movie I am about to shoot
is an action movie. I am using it to expose some ills in the society. There are some
obscene scenes that I cannot take part in because I am a child of God. If you watch
my films, you will know that I have never shot any movie that is obscene. I tell my
stories but you will never see me naked. Even when I try to portray some nude
scenes, I do it moderately.

“My children are Christians and my daughter got born again at the age of five. She is
in London and she has nothing against my faith. I should be with them on Thursday.
It was when I had an encounter with God that people started calling her to inform her
that I was running mad and they became worried. After I finished my 30 day
encounter with God and came out of it, when she saw me, she knew I was fine. I
have been like this since I was a member of the Scripture Union. I don’t have any
problem with my children, we are all fine and they are proud of me.

In fact, they are my best friends. I go to places where I can talk not only at churches
or crusades, I talk about the word of God anywhere I can. I need to tell everyone the
truth about the word of God. The Lord said that I should remove my dreads because
even though my dread is from my natural hair, whenever I am preaching against
weaves and telling ladies that it is demonic, people may think I am carrying one and
they begin to ask why I have such on my head.”

Young actor Abraham Attah has landed a big role after
his breakthrough movie, Beasts Of No Nation.

The Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead, Marcello Mastroianni
Award for Best Young Actor award-winner has joined the casts of upcoming
American superhero film ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming.

For this American woman this was the best father’s day’s gift she could have ever
received.

The woman, Crystal Owonubi, had been with her husband Mr. Owonubi for 19
years but the other most important man in her life had refused to accept her
husband– till now.
According to Crystal, her husband and father met for the first time face to face
yesterday on Father’s day.

Crystal had revealed in a post a while ago that her father had accepted her children.

.“So I called my Dad today to see how he is doing and to ask him a very important
question that I have been wanting to ask for a long time! You all know that last
November he recently had a change of heart and accepted my children!! My children
and I visited him and they stepped foot in his home for the first time, while I visited
his home after 18 years or so. And my husband spoke to my father on the phone for
the first time ever!!

I have been talking to him about us visiting this summer and he is looking forward to
our visit again. But, I wanted to know if my father is truly ready to meet my husband
of 15 years. I didn’t want us to just show up. I needed to know that it is okay with
him. So, I asked him. And guess what he said!!!! YES!!! Praise the Lord! Here
comes the best summer of my life!!!”

Now it seems her family is finally complete. Her husband was deported from America,
but Crystal followed him and lived in Nigeria for 8 years.
Now the family have been able to move back to America and live happily in
Springfield at the moment.

From the game play trailer, I think the son will be the playable character with flashbacks to kratos... from time to time. As I think it's high time kratos character was killed off. So err... it's reasonable to assume so as kratos said in the ending part of the game play trailer, Your journey has just begun. Referring to the son.

In a recent interview with The Sun, Yemi Alade talked about one of the craziest thing
a fan has done to her, her music and more.

*When you wake up in the morning, what comes to your mind first?

Wow! The first thing I do is pray for effyzzie Music Group; that one is for sure.
Secondly, I pray for all lovers of my music, asking God to meet them at the point of
their needs and then, I pray for the music industry.


*Did you know you would become this big five years ago?

Well, it has always been my prayer. I had no idea how it would happen but I am just
a pencil in God’s hands.


*What has fame denied you?

Wow! I can’t walk on the streets anymore like I used to do. I used to enjoy and love
taking long walks but I can’t anymore.


*Is there a particular food or snack you have missed so much on account of stardom?

Well, it’s akara (bean cake), I love akara but this is not a situation of fame.
Sometimes when I go to see my mum, there is always akara.


*Which artistes influenced your beginnings?

So many did. In Nigeria, Omawunmi has always been an inspiration. Beyoncé is
definitely another big source of inspiration.


*Did you ever think of quitting?

There are no two ways about it; I definitely thought I was going to get a white-collar
job. I have my BSc in Geography. The truth is that music is a financially intensive
project. It was pretty tough. I thank God for meeting Efizzy Music Group.



*What kept you going?

The passion, when your stomach is empty, your wallet empty and you’re tired; the
only thing that keeps you going is God and passion.


*Despite your fame you have steered clear of controversies. How did you pull it off?

I don't look for trouble, thats the secret.


*When the time comes to finally settle down, what tribe would you settle for?

It is beyond tribe for me; tribe should be the least criterion.


*Are you seeing any man right now?

O! Yes I am. You can see many men around (points at male guests at the event
amid laughter)



*Who is your ideal man?

He has to be God fearing, have good prospect, and of course, a sense of humour.



*What is the craziest thing a fan has done to you on stage?

A fan tried to grab my waist.

The United States Government has withdrawn the visa of three Nigerian Senators. The
three members of the House of Representatives were accused of sexual misconduct

Visitors Leadership Program, Honorable Gololo grabbed the housekeeper of the hotel
they lodged in and solicited for sex while the other two lawmakers asked the hotel
parking lot attendants to help them get prostitutes.
