The only thing being a first born child does to you is stress and test you. Every first born child knows and understands this so much. The one cool thing about being a first born is the fact you pick things first, make rules that are supposed to be kept and you’re like the voice of the children in some cases. Except that, it’s a headache and wahala from one place to another. Here are a few experiences every firstborn goes through: |

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has threatened disciplinary measures to three pilots who have faulted in their conducts in the course of their duties. The three pilots suspended by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for taking alcohol before operating their flights are to undergo psychiatric evaluation before rejoining the service. Mr Sam Adurogboye, Acting General Manager, Public Relations, NCAA, disclosed on Friday in Lagos. NCAA had recently withdrawn the licenses of the trio and placed them on a three-month suspension for breaching civil aviation regulations in the country. According to the rules, a pilot is prohibited from taking alcohol for at least three hours before flight time. Adurogboye noted that such act could compromise the safety of their passengers, adding that the NCAA was very vigilant in ensuring strict compliance to safety rules. “It is very clear. They are to be off duty for three months. While on suspension, they are to be made to go through psychiatric evaluation before rejoining the service,” he said. Adurogboye, therefore, advised all airline operators and pilots to abide by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig.CARs), stressing that offenders would be visited with severe penalties. -NAN

4. Tea When I say tea, I don’t mean the Naija version of the word. I mean black or green or herbal teas. They are great for banishing mouth odour. Simply drinking green tea 3 times a day can cure your bad breath.

3. Baking soda Baking soda is the “baba nla” of DIY hacks everywhere. You can use it to white your teeth, remove bad breath and even to bake. For mouth odour, mix a teaspoon of baking soda in warm water. Gargle this mixture twice a day for maximum effect.

2. Apple cider vinegar Apple cider vinegar has antiseptic properties. To get rid of bad breath, mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a cup of water and drink every day after meals. Your bad breath will disappear within a few weeks.

1. Lemons Lemons like most citrus fruits are acidic. They prevent the growth of most bacteria. To get rid of mouth odour, add a teaspoon of lemon to a cup of water. Add a pinch of salt. Gargle this mixture before bed daily.

Mouth odour is one of the worst things ever. When you’re in the company of someone with mouth odour, it can be really bad. And many people who have bad breath don’t realise they do. You try to keep away from the odour by leaning back. But that doesn’t always work. Then you’re thrust into the awkward position of trying to tell someone their breath stinks. You’re unsure how said person will take it. Try my solution: “ Always give that person a breath mint and hope to the gods they get the message. ” If you’re the person with bad breath and you know about it, here are four easy ways to get rid of it:

Olawale Ashimi better known as Brymo, is well known for his unique voice and rich musical content but at the moment, it seems he has lost faith in himself and his musical career as well. In a recent twitter outburst between Brymo and a fan, the songwriter and composer was called out for mocking black men. Brymo tweeted; “Black man suffers at home, black man suffers abroad. Black man suffers everywhere, black man likes to suffer”. That did not go well with a fan as he lashed the singer without pity; “@BrymOlawale You have really been tweeting recklessly these days. Don’t tear your ‘almost done’ career with yo miserable bare hands. Diot.” In response to the fan, Brymo mentioned that his career ended way back in 2013. Do you agree with him?
