Hi guys, I got a decision in principle from a mortgage broker and was told i can show this to any agent for my intending property. The broker also stated the agent can call them if they have any question. The mortgage advisor assigned to me said once I get a property I am interested in, i should let him know. My question is, is the Decision in Principle the same as the Agreement in Principle? Because this wasn’t offered to me by a bank but by a mortgage broker.

They both mean the same thing....... Your broker, got that offer from a lender (3rd party or high street banks), does not really matter..... An offer is an offer, once you submit relevant documents, that principle becomes a mortgage offer........

Trying to choose wilhich rate to go with
The options from Barclays are
1) 4.84% for 2ys fixed without product fee
2) 4.67% for 2yrs fixed with product fee of £900
3) 4.67% for 5yrs fixed with product fee of £900.

My mortgage advisor suggests we should go with the first option, as she's positive we can get better rates in 2years.

Whats your advice here please. Will appreciate your insights.

Between option 1 or 2.......

Calculate what your mortgage payments would be per month and see how that £900 fits in or out....... 😁😂

Yes, about banning burqas.

I find it incredibly telling that that was what she chose as her FIRST ever question to ask in parliament. Shows clearly what her priorities (and that of the party (-minus Zia obvs)) are. Not the economy, not anything more important, instead she chose to ask if the PM would ban the burqa on security grounds as if burqas are a major factor in any of the security issues the country is facing.

I've said it before that all those doing "I support Reform even though I'm a 'X'" will later find their square roots, as the core ideology driving the party reveals itself, same as all the "'Ys' for Trump" people are finding theirs, albeit too late in their case.

They would eventually ban face coverings..... The French and Swiss, already banned face coverings. This ban would eventually sweep through Europe.......
