Thank you sir, God bless.

dcutey:
Let me attempt answering your questions to the best of the knowledge I have gained on this thread most especially from Justwise.

1. If you are sponsoring the trip, this is the cost of flight ticket, accommodation, feeding, local transport and any other thing you plan to do on your intended stay in the UK.
2. This amount can be the same as that in 1 above but it's better to add miscellaneous to it and make it more than 1.

In all, you have to consider these costs in the light of your monthly income after tax, monthly expenditure as well as your account balance in order to stand a good chance in securing your visa.

Does this actually mean that a low income earner can't go to UK?
I have plans to visit the UK ending of this year for a period of 3wks, I have a small salary account of 60k per month but I've a farm(not registered) and also have investment in wood export which some funds are been remitted to me on a monthly bases by my uncle as a proceed of my investment but low salary......I've an aunt I can stay with throughout my stay, my budget for all expenses both visa reg, flight...... Is abt 800k, but I'm confused about how to go abt it with such a low salary...... + I've never applied for visa to any country before.....thanks in anticipation of a favourable response.
cut down your budget size to like 400k at least you can still get flight ticket for 250k then some other small expenses of 150k is reasonable if you are a true visitor.and if you claim a relative will accommodate you, why the big budget of 800k, its implicating.

Good day everyone, i read on news paper that UK Embassy now scan original documents at the application centre and return the originals back to the applicant immediately. has this process commenced in reality?
thank you.
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by lexyj123(f): 5:21pm On Dec 16, 2016
hello house, my brother is married to an american citizen, the wife invited me to attend their anniversary, but my brother's permanent residency papers will be ready after the anniversary hopefully (just a projection) .

my question is; is this reason for visiting the united state tenable enough in the VO thinking and past testimony?

wont my brother's status work against me?

i know you are not the VO but what are my chances?

i work with government and earn about 200k plus a moth

i welcome a critical analysis from concerned members, thanks.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by lexyj123(f): 5:28pm On Oct 18, 2016
Hello house,i intend to visit the uk in few months time, my concern is that am on a salary of about 200k but once i get alert of salary payment i move it all into another savings account where i have bulk of my money.

Do i need to present my salary account which has no tangible balance, what could be the implication if i do not submit it.

will my payslip, employment letter, my last promotion letter be enough, showing my present earnings be enough.

has anyone been in this situation and how did it go with them?

thanks.

You will not pay any fee except you want delivery by courier which you might need to pay for. Also there will be no negative consequence if you submit at the VI office. I believe your application will be attended to same way if you submitted at Ikeja. Just make sure you have all required documents in place.

All da best
thank you bro. but i keep wondering why applicant choose to apply at ikeja and pay about N20,000 extra while they could get same thing done at V/I at a lesser fee. could it be processing time advantage, or success rate trend? lets thinks extra.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by lexyj123(f): 11:14am On Jul 08, 2016
Hello house, after making my visa payment on UK embassy website, will i have to pay a dime at teleperformance? Also i want to cut cost, i.e to avoid the extra charge at ikeja by applying at V/I office. what could be the consequence of this decision of mine? kindly assist me with your wealth of experience. it is urgent please, thanks in advance.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by lexyj123(f): 3:55pm On Jun 24, 2016
Thank you bro, i have eventually been to the teleperformance office at ikeja, met with some agent , made some enquiry. tho they are things i can handle myself.

interestingly and funny, some of the agent believes ikeja collections are treated in lagos with assistance of some individuals who understand our country more , thereby the high success rate . And that the V/I centre collections are treated in UK where our African ways are not well understood. please how true are these statements?
2n2k:
1. UK visit visa is $132 not $142
2. The extra $84 is because Ikeja is a pay-to-use centre which you can avoid if you choose V.I.
3. Teleperformance does not issue visa, it is just a customer-facing application processing centre like VFS for onward transfer to the consulate for decision. Therefore, Ikeja centre which is run by them cannot generously give visa because that is the responsibility of the UKBA.
4. It may appear that patrons of Ikeja centre succeed more because they are likely to be more qualified for visa in the first place because of the financial status of most of them
5. Given the sheer number of patrons of VI, it follows that number of failures there must also be more than that of Ikeja and Abuja.

Whichever centre you choose, don't panic. Just be truthful in your application. If you sincerely believe that you deserve being given the visa, the ECO will believe so too.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by lexyj123(f): 5:07pm On Jun 22, 2016
Hello house, i have always been on canada thread.

Am about to build travel history by applying for UK visiting visa, my cousin invited me.

i just heard about Teleperformance and about 216 dollars application fees instead of the usuall 142 dollar.

i heard ikeja centre Gives Visas Generously than V/I, how true are these.

Again what and what should i be careful ofhuh? thank you in advance.
