what is this one saying? The first european to xplore in nigeria came to benin in 1485. In the 15th to 19th century the benin empire was dominant in nigeria its dominance reached eko later named lagos by the Portuguese itsekiri, ijaw and urhobo were part of d kingdom headed by Oba Eware the Great so I don't understand d sea port you are asking and for ur info Edo has more than five major tribes which include bini,Esan, owan, etsako and igarra and they don't understand each other I know for those that realy know benin will testify dat pidgin is the first and common language dere .am not sure uve crossed uselu its just school - hostel and mayb church
1472 , first european contact in Nigeria and it was the coasts of the Niger delta and lagos not Benin. Benin was 13 years behind when the coastal regions of which delta state is among have witnessed the first europeans.
Again the Europeans maintained their slave ports in the coastal regions not Benin. http://africanhistory.about.com/od/nigeria/l/bl-Nigeria-Timeline-1.htm

We know the ancient benin empire stretched to the west and even the east of Nigeria but that doesn't make the people of the coastal regions benin. undecided undecided undecided The Europeans came by water not flight or road so they cannot have appeared in benin first. Please see map of Nigeria. Beni and Esan languages are understandable to one another. And again in city of benin , bini is still the first language.

I'm deeply in love with my orente. She means so much to me and I hold her in high esteem. I can't do without hearing from her at least 3 times daily despite my schedule at work on all days but I've come to realize that despite my unfailing love for her, I still cheat on her. Though, once she caught me cheating on her but she won't walk away. I believe she's forced to assume now that cheating is in the DNA of most men.

To the guys here, is it really possible to love your wife or babe so dearly and cheat on her? When you cheat on her, is it still fair to boast of your love for her? Also, why do most men cheat? Is it really true that cheating is in the DNA of men? Should we conclude its as a result of rampant moral decadence? Is there a way to stop it?
Cc: mods please do the needful
The brutal truth is that love don't/can't hold a man from cheating unlike women. Only principles and faith do hold a man.

The natural man unaligned to religion and principles will detach sex from love any time, any day.

Most good men will worship the very ground their women walk and _fuck the next lady.

What is the meaning of UTOMI in Edo? You sounded like a sucker.
In my opinion, like every other tribe that shares boundary with another tribe, it loses and imbibes some of its neighbour's cultures. It is what happened to Agbor. Like some villages in Abia and Imo states will share names with some aka ibom/ Calabar names, so did Ika share some names with Edo.

But its culture and names are more Igbo than Edo.

check your history the first europeans(Portuguese) to come to nigeria came to Benin kingdom pigin english was introduced by the british to break down the english language for the Obas and his chiefs to understand dats why its also called broken english but am not disputing the fact that waffarians modified the language after all we were togeda

*proud bendel boy
I happened to graduate in Uniben, stayed in hall 3 in first year, ekosodi in second year and BDPA till schooling. Edo speaks their native language as their FIRST LANGUAGE.

The British don't break down English for anyone. You either speak it as they do or you adopt to how you understand it. Both the British and the Portuguese came by sea; Bini has no sea.

Again most tribes in Edo understand each other so they didn't need adopt pidgin English when they had to communicate with one another. Till today , they still speak their languages first before pidgin......and their pidgin is so heavy and less fluent with so many tribal accents making in road into it.

Delta on the other part has over 5 tribes who don't understand each other. Warri alone is indigenous to 3 tribes and it has an outlet to sea which made early Portuguese and British to domicile their.

So today, in Warri, even between people of same tribe, pidgin is the first language and the only language the 3 tribes of Ijaw, Itsekiri, Urhobo can communicate in.

I bear an ibo name unfortunately, but I'm from Ika "Agbor" in Delta. The person you are trying to correct is more accurate than you in miles. The statement in bold is wrong.I am not ibo and would NEVER EVER EVER like to be regarded as a part of that disgustingly accented and crafty tribe.
Drop your emotions aside, it hampers your comprehension and logic. Firstly, I said most western/Delta Igbos are of the same stock with Onitsha igbos. I didn't say all delta igbos.

You are from Ika? Ika is NOT PART OF EZE CHIMA.

Iselle-uku

Ogwashi-ukwu

Onicha-Olona

Onicha-Ugbo

Onicha-Ukwu
Obior
Onicha-ado/mmiri (Onitsha)

To name but a few are all from EZE Chima. Let me add to your shocker: The Obi of Onitsha comes to Obior/Onicha-Ugbo every other year for traditional rites for all EZE Chimas.

In 2013, the tree of the shrine had a branch cut off and planted in Onitsha to ease the yearly travels and journeys of this rituals.

Study the history of Anioma which Ika is a part of and do not allow sentiments of the igbos to becloud your judgement.

Sir/ma, please read the post again and again. You will find out the point the post is making. It is not about the achievement of individuals. The delta man or woman is unique.
...point of correction, a man or woman in delta who speaks ibo and bear igbos name will never accept being called an ibo person. There is a thick difference between the both side of the Niger river. If you are not from that region, please find out. Go to Asaba for instance and see how an Asaba or Ibusa person will address an Igbo man from Onitsha.
You have no right to generalise that statement. Western igbos are well represented in Ohaneze, the pan sociopolitical igbo group and even held the post of president. We understand the civil war, geopolitical spacing and other misgivings have brought some unaligned views, but read or ask about these people before the civil war broke out.

Again, the Onitsha Igbo is the same stock with some Western /Delta Igbos. THEY are of the EZE CHIMA CLAN having one progenitor with most Delta Igbos according to oral history.

Exactly my brother, That's my point, but these people fail to see. You're on point.
When it comes to sexuality everyone becomes a philosopher and so darn emotional.

For me, virgin wife is the choice of preference. Marriage alone is hard enough without adding a diick - craving wife who still uses the fading memories of her sexual escapades as a sleep enhancer.

Old resident courtę§Ans here will downplay the importance of virgin wives but the fact is, any woman who could hold off the advances and lure of sex while being single will hold onto her marriage and dignity much more. And in her should a wise man seek a lifetime companion.

This is one of the numerous reasons I'm scared of getting married. Most women these days are wh0res.

I always advice guys to do a thorough background check before tying the knot with any woman, because women of nowadays are not like our chaste mothers who all married our fathers as virgins.

Anyways, No time to waste time. As for me, It's a virgin or nothing. I won't settle for less. I'm not saying virgins can't cheat, but they are less likely to do so.

...And for your information, I'm a Virgin. Before you start asking...

#PersonalOpinion
Your submission is FACT.
The rampant uninhibited sexual adventures of our married women is hugely owing to the highly charted marks on their sexuality road maps.

When a woman has _fucked several sizes of phallus in different circumstances, different personalities and in different locations, believe me, legal _fuck becomes boring and stale to her.

It usually takes a divine stroke of intervention to make her remain chaste in marriage; and even when she chose to be faithful, great and agonising is her temptation.

The importance of Virginity can never be over emphasised, bro.

Family › Desperate Woman Posed As Man Online To Trick Female Friend Into Having Sex by lezz(op): 10:42am On Sep 13, 2015
Is this the new formula for Lesbians?

A woman tricked her friend into having sex with her by posing as a man and persuading her to wear a blindfold in the bedroom, a court has heard.

Gayle Newland, 25, won the woman's trust using a fake online persona, and the pair struck up a two-year relationship, jurors were told.
The alleged victim told Chester Crown Court she had believed she was having sex with a man.
Ms Newland, of Willaston, Cheshire, denies five counts of sexual assault.

The pair met in 2011 after Newland set up a bogus Facebook account under the name Kye Fortune, the court was told.

'Truth revealed'

"Kye" had told her he was in hospital, she said, and was not well enough to see her after he was treated for a car accident and a brain tumour.
But the pair spoke frequently on the phone, the court heard, and eventually arranged to meet for sex at a Chester hotel on the condition the woman wear a blindfold.
She said Kye was waiting in the bathroom when she entered the room and bed was covered with rose petals and Hello Kitty bears.
The pair then had sex, the court heard.
During interviews, the woman told police Kye asked her to wear a blindfold because he was "anxious about the way he looked" and "could not walk properly" due to nerve and muscle damage.
Eventually Kye visited the woman's flat and the truth was revealed, the court heard.
Describing the pair's final sexual encounter, she said she had been shocked when she removed the blindfold and saw Ms Newland instead of Kye.
"Gayle was just standing there. I just couldn't believe it," she said.
She told the interviewing officer: "I couldn't believe that person would want to do something like this to me... these last two years had fabricated this world around me.
"He - Gayle - pulled the wool over my eyes."
The trial continues.

What Parents are facing during this season

Last Night, while i was on my bed thinking of how the day had gone , I was about saying my prayers when i heard a silent knock on my door,i was sure it couldn't be madam because she would barge in being the mother of house, "Come in " i said as i roll over on the bed, two little heads appeared, my pulse increased on seeing them because any time they come in this manner something was at at stake, "My Angels come in,you want to see daddy?"I asked smiling, they walked in "Yes dad" Bolu the elder one said, "ok come closer, daddy will listen" i assured as i started calculating what could have called for this meeting, there was an A4 sheet with them,my pulse increased higher again "Daddy we are resuming on monday" the bomb was shelled, I need not be told what was on the paper any more, i collected the paper and saw like 12text books each, the least price being one thousand naira, i turned the other page and saw the list of things they wanted to buy,new bags, new shoes, new school uniforms, Seun in Primary school even said she was going to buy new basket and water bottle,i looked further into the list and saw the New school fees for each of them,i breath in then with a smile i dismissed them..
"Their mom must have done a good job, training them to come meet daddy" as i brought out my calculator to do some calculations, lo and behold every thing amounted to one hundred and ten thousand naira only, i breathed in again.. The other day my mom was singing the song that she wanted more children, "after three children?" i asked as i stared at her in amazement, maybe she thinks we were still in the 1940s where parents gave birth to as many as they want and lead them to the farm, that was the order of the day back then not now, if you say because the holy books say "you should go into the world and multiply"it doesn't mean you should start giving birth like pigs in this modern dispensation.I was brought back to reality when a call came from my eldest child, he is a student at a Federal University ,i felt hot immediately, talk of the devil and he appears, "another money Matter, may it is money for handouts this time" i thought as i picked his call, "Hello,Dad how are you and everybody...." i cut him short "Femi what's it?" i asked as i was impatient, "Dad,i just wanted to greet you because of i miss everyone" he said,i heaved a sign of relief "eh,Femi so this what you do with the little pocket money i send you, if we miss you we will call you, good night." I said dropping the call.. After brain storming for a while, madam came in and acted as if she didn't have a foreknowledge of what the kids had come to discuss with me,i gave her the paper they gave me and she read it as if it was the first time she was seeing it, "Dear,God will provide for us" she said... "Amen" I said sinking into the bed...

To all the parents out there God will provide for you...

A sex attacker who was pinned in a headlock by a victim who was a kickboxer has been jailed.
Mark Willis, 40, of Pirton Lane, Gloucester, punched the 25-year-old woman several times in the face and tried to remove her clothes during the assault in Cheltenham last August.
But she held him in a headlock between her legs until he "went limp".
He was jailed for four-and-a-half years at Bristol Crown after being convicted of a single charge of sexual assault.
The defendant had earlier pleaded guilty to a charge of causing actual bodily harm.
The woman, who cannot be identified, said: "I'm extremely pleased that this traumatic ordeal is finally over and that I can move forward with life."
Det Con Faye Satchwell-Bennett said: "There's little doubt in anybody's mind that without her martial arts skills the attack could have been far worse.
"Mr Willis clearly poses significant risk to the public, also having a previous conviction for a similar kidnapping offence against a female."
Willis was given the jail sentence with an additional four years on licence and ordered to sign the sex offenders' register.

(2) For 2009-10, the number of security guards increased from 194,525 to 387,273 – 3 security guards for every police officer. Government even employs security companies for the protection of government itself. When the private sector and civil society engage security companies for street level protection, government has abandoned the single most important core function of a state as outlined in the constitution: protection of its citizens.

(3) The final account for the arms purchase will be R47.2bn. The initial cost in 1998 was R30bn. Some 20% of the accompanying logistical support for the three submarines is still missing. One of the subs has been in the dry dock since 2006 and may be there until 2013. The last support for the Agusta helicopters is still outstanding, as well as 11 Gripen fighters. The military has troops, but cannot deploy them.

HIV/Aids has devastated the army and information about infection levels is a no-go area. In 2005 a cursory reference said 48%. The UN has determined that the level of infection in the armies of Southern Africa is basically four times the average of the national level. If this is true of South Africa, the country no longer possesses the capability of a fighting force – it has degenerated into a welfare society.

South African women tend to be in hot chase for Nigerian men due to their astoundingly “well-endowed” nature and unique sexual prowess, a study conducted by the University of Witswaterrand has revealed.

Some South African women married to Nigerians staged a peaceful protest in Johannesburg
The study which was conducted on the seemingly booming business of penis enlargements through traditional medicine in Johannesburg by researchers from the university, disclosed that Nigerians are leading the way with penis size, followed by two other ethnic groups in South Africa, the Vendas and Tsongas.
The result of the study which was presented recently at the university’s Body Knowledge International Conference, noted that the ubiquitous presence of posters advertising Penis Enlargement products all over the city of Johannesburg puts the spotlight on the male body, focusing on an organ widely regarded as the very seat of manhood.
By suggesting a need to enlarge the penis, the study added, the posters bring up thoughts of male vulnerability, as seen through the fact that most of the posters advertise penis enlargement alongside finding a lost “lost lover”.
Most male respondents, according to the findings of the study, agreed that when it came to penis size, Nigerians were in the lead. However, most Nigerian respondents cited sexual stamina, “care” and material comforts as reasons why women are drawn to them.
Meanwhile, some women said they were tempted to try “big” ones and that “big” was not the preserve of Nigerians as the Vendas and Tsongas, according to them, were not doing badly with size as well. Similarly, few female respondents admitted that they had, had sex with Nigerians, but some said that big joysticks can be painful during sex.
Other Nigerian respondents, according to the report which was published in Mail & Guardian newspaper, further explained that it was their sexual performance, rather than the size of their joysticks that make them sought-partners by South African women. However, all male respondents agreed that there was a big size similar to that of a donkey or a horse. Some said there are guys endowed with shovel-like joysticks.
Although most men, according to the report, believe that “bigger is better”, Nigerians focused on their sexual stamina and the way they take care of women, especially in terms of love and financial support.
According to them, they were not stealing anyone’s women as insinuated in some quarters, but the women prefer and choose them because they strongly believe that sex, love and money go together, adding that it would seem that manhood is not, for the most part, about the size of the man’s penis, but what he does with it and what he offers in exchange.
On the question of what makes Nigerian men perform so well, the study said a wholesome diet of “Nigerian food” as opposed to a Southern African diet that often kills the libido, according to Nigerian respondents. Three things to avoid, some Nigerian men suggested in the study, are too much sugar, fat and alcohol, all of which “kills” a penis.
While lending credence to issues relating to sexual stamina and the tender loving care (TLC) of the average Nigeria guy, one respondent, according to the report said: “There is a saying in my country that you can put a small pepper (chilli) in your mouth, but it can make you open your mouth for the next 30 or 40 minutes. Some joysticks are small, but what they do there is more than what the big one is doing”.
On the contrary, female respondent said small joysticks were “like a teaspoon in a big coffee mug” or “as small as my little finger”. Some were, the report added, more expressive, saying: “Yes, there is small. You ignore it when it’s not erect and think it’s coming (growing bigger as it becomes erect) and then it grows and you’re like no… where’s the rest of it?”
The study also revealed that South African men were of the opinion that “foreigners” are “crazy” about South African women because they find them “mo

@ bold. Please black south Africans are dirt - poor. One of the poorest in all of Africa. And yes the do run spaza shops but like with their women foreigners dominated them out. Here is a research by your own bureau of market statistics that conducted a research on why local south African spaza shops just don't fly. Your barefaced lies is beginning to burden me with a heavy sense of shame since you don't know what the word means.

The township spaza shop competition is tough, and the subject of foreign-owned spazas is a thorny one for many local spaza shop owners.

A Cape Town based non-profit organisation, the Sustainable Livelihoods Foundation (SLF), conducted a two-year in-depth study to understand the current characteristics of ownership, the scope of employment within the business and trading practices of spaza shops in the Western Cape and Gauteng townships.

Spaza shops are micro-convenience stores which operate in township residential areas, selling groceries, bread, cool drinks, prepaid airtime, sweets and cigarettes.

The findings

The study surveyed over 6000 micro-enterprises in nine localities, covering an estimated 50,000 households.

One of the most striking findings documented in the SLF's report, The Informal Economy of Township Spaza Shops, is that South African owned spaza shops are less competitive than foreign-run spazas.

The reasons given by the study - why foreign shopkeepers enjoy success than South Africans - are attributed to the strength of their social networks, which provide them with access to labour and capital, and thus enable them collective purchasing and market domination

DictatorZAR:
You cut the hair of Zimbabwens on street corners and clean public toilets here in SA and then claim you are doctors when you go back home so as not to embarrass yourselves in front of poor 20 siblings in your run down village.
According to your own citizens who are lamenting the dominance of Nigerians over Zulus in South Africa, they actually admitted that only Mozambicans do jobs Zulus won't do. And that's why they and Somalians are always the victim of xenophobia. ...never Nigerians. Because they live in the high brow areas and rock your chucks at the club. Please see the screen grab below.

They are so untouchable your police understand the code of Nigerians. Please read the screen grab from your own blog and see your citizens weep and lament from the dominance and intimidation they suffer from nigerians. grin grin grin

WE HAVE NO RESPECT OR REGARD FOR ZULUS. #FACT

WITHOUT ANY CONSCIOUS EFFORT OR AGREEMENT, ALL NIGERIANS BOTH HOME AND ABROAD KNOW ZULUS ARE WELL BELOW US. 1994 IS STILL YESTERDAY AND THE SUN OF REALITY IS STILL TOO HARSH FOR YOUR GAZE.

so you are admitting that your country men living in SA are making money illegal...?when south Africans raise concern, you all cry foul about xenophobia...we hate parasites and hypocrites ,how many times must I tell you to stop dreaming...your people are refugees here, will be regarded and treated as such..
I know you're the chief Zulu dullard of this thread. And you can infer all your mental destitution can on my post but the fact remains Nigerians are your masters at home and abroad.

If Nigerians are refugees in South africa and still take your women away from you, up to the level that they have an online association, then what do we call Zulus? You see why your points are too weak to stick?

Show me a country where their women like Wendy Ledwaba complains about the untouchability and arrogance of refugees and I show you slaves with no self-worth or regard. grin grin grin

You see why your brains are so congealed it can't receive enough oxygen to process simple logic.

We understand that simple things like mechanic is a brainer bugger for Zulus and Somalians and Co ran you out of sparza business. . SMH

No wonder 90% of your economy is still run by 7% boars and Anglo - Dutch.

Why won't Zulus kill and steal from smarter and more hardworking Africans.

400 years of slavery and subjugation is a perpetual injury to the heritage and psyche of an entire tribe of Zulus. Even when they are free they still run back to their cages.
