indeed, but what i am worried about is their ability to mobilize and locate soft targets in the NE,i expected all of them to be currently running helter skelter into cameroon and niger,i didnt expect smatterings of half baked reprisals, its shows that some of them still possess confidence, perhaps due to our lackadiasical attitude in terms of media awarness and lack of a concerted media offensive{abeg make una help us beg DHQ to release videos and pictures of battles in overtly dramatic details, lets take a cue from the photomaniac SANDF}.
It is time for the SSS to grab the elephant by the tusks, and relentlessly persecute these agents of destruction. The NA/NAF should be allowed to focus on mopping up operations, instead of chasing around renegade factions of the defeated jihadists;that should be the work of the DSS.
indeed. Time for the SSS and military intelligence to do clean up.
I'm also thinking they are laying too much emphasis on the polling units and leaving the outskirts of villages for easy picks for BH.

But the attacks in yobe and gombe by 'you know who' were indeed a big surprise,i thought that they are in total disarray?,how come they are still organized enough to stage such a disturbance?,the SSS should be more proactive in order to prevent unnecessary casualties, they shouldnt thrust all the herculean tasks on our armed forces alone, the NA and NAF arent magicians.
on a brighter note,i hope you voted for continuity of progress, transformation and positive change?.lol.
lol. This is the big day for BH, it's what they've been fighting for all along. But they've failed

I guess you mean Sulk...
Btw forget oo, virgins have friends
They'll her how thier man last one hour while u only last 5seconds.
And thats the beginning of your problem.
Virgins have a higher chance of making a successful marriage than non virgins. Except for those who were molested at a tender age or deflowered at a tender age.

You should have a clear study of virgins as you appear to have done on non virgins.

Virgins don't rely on stories of the mythical 1hr guy. If a girl keeps her virginity till adult and ends up with the man she loves, she will be more than content with his performance.

Contrary to your opinion, it is the non virgins that face all the urge and temptation when they get married to slow paced guy and their ex was a Usain Bolt. Each act of their husband's intimacy pushes them into the land of memories where their pulse beat faster and their hearts pounded stronger.

A girl who kept her virginity to full adulthood, say 20 years and above and got married will laugh at your simplistic generalization of virgin attitudes. Those type easily get irritated by another man who isn't their husband.

And what do you mean male virgins?

WHATEVER THAT YOU SAID IS UNDOUBTEDLY ABSURD. SANDF LITERALLY CHANGED THE FACE OF SELEKA, THAT WAS NOT EVEN SANDF, IT WAS JUST 200 SA ARMY SOLDIERS.

BOKO HARAM CONTINUALLY DEFEATED OVER 60 000 NIGERIAN SOLDIERS WHO WERE DEPLOYED IN THE N.E UNTIL YOUR PRESIDENT CAME RUNNING TO SA TO ASK HELP FROM MERCENARIES.
Southafrica fought that war with 11,000 troops backed by CIA mercenaries.

You were humiliated there. Bodies after bodies kept coming in body bags. That was the most decisive and humiliating defeat in modern African history.

Southafricans and truth don't ever mix.

NIGERIA MADE A LOAN OF A WHOOPING $1 BILLION TO PROCURE ARMS AFTER THEIR PURSE RAN DRY. AT LEAST, SA HAD MONEY FOR ARMS.DEAL, ALL THAT THEY WANTED WAS FINANCING SO THAT THEIR PROCUREMENT WOULD BE GUARANTEED.
lol, we made that loan to upgrade and deal with the terrorist insurgency. We have done so decisively and elections takes place tomorrow even in the notorious north east. Our navy still belong and airforce still belong to us.

Southafrica on the other hand sold her entire military to European institutions and banks at a time of peace because she is a pretender. I told you idiots here that southafrica is the only African country DELIBERATELY BUILDING HER MILITARY to be the best, despite your conscious efforts you are still a colossal failure.

I don't really care about what he is saying, I am of the opinion that twisting the history of Nigeria for any reason is dangerous and not acceptable.
He can joke, play pranks etc with the southies but he shouldn't dare twist facts about our past, hope I am not asking for too much.
BTW, what is patriotic about someone who lies to another national about his country's history for faceless vain internet glory??

You guys call this nonsense you are doing here patriotism? now let me give you a clue, if you guys are who you said you are representing different African countries, you should consider yourselves as brothers in arms not continental enemies, from what we have seen here, there are a lot to learn from the southies and vice versa,

This should be an opportunity for the Nigerian Naval personnel here who have not "seen" a submarine on their shores to get information about it and hopefully convince themselves why they need it, that is the way to grow!!, The south Africans should be able to learn one or two things about Nigeria's coastal capabilities and how much we have transformed our army due to boko haram insurgence.

Over all, you guys are really painting a calligraphy of vanity, putting your continent at risk in the long run, why has egypt remained passive to the AU? but will rather be a force in the Arab league? it is simply because of distrust in regional cohesion caused by the nonsense you guys are doing here.

What is wrong with Nigeria being the West African police? South Africa, manning the Southern block? Egypt on the Northern block and Ethiopia/kenya on the eastern block?

Do you know what such military cohesion will do to the psyche of the likes of Al qaeda in the Islamic Mahreb, Boko haram et al if we project continental interest above national bickerings?

why is Europe so united forming tough alliances that project their interest better than any other continent in the world? Cant we learn from them.

Let me tell you guys more of the disadvantage of the nonsense you guys are doing here;

Boko haram has ravaged Nigeria for 6yrs today, do you guys care? Nigerians and your fellow brothers in arms have paid the supreme price to the tune of over 13,000, do you guys care?

To form a regional alliance of Nigeria's west african neighbors have been a tough call, why is it supposed to be so? an Alliance of Chad, Niger, Nigeria and Cameroon has broken down twice and Nigerians paid dearly for it, 2,000 lives at the fall of Baga alleged by Amnesty international is no child's play, how can you secure an alliance when you are enmeshed in a petty mindset like I read here.

The few weeks we managed to sustain the alliance, Boko haram has had it very rough this past weeks, can't you see? the future of Africa rests on cohesion for regional stability not bickerings over the internet.

Our west African neighbors are ravaged by Ebola, who came to their rescue? MSF (French), WHO, where are the likes of Nigeria and south Africa who are housing the 1st 10th African's wealthiest?

Ivory coast nearly tilted to the brink of a civil war, who helped them? France, where was their west African allies, ECOWAS and co? is this how it is supposed to be? Who protected Ghaddafi when the westerners took him from us? who came to Mali's rescue when Al queda nearly took half of their territory?

We should be ashamed of this petty mindset we have as Africans. We are losing a lot already with this nonsense you guys are doing here.
Your post is bright. If this lengthy appeal to common sense had debuted before the Evarn attack, the chances of your being misinterpreted or misunderstood would have been very slim.

I should quickly add that Evarn has not misrepresented any fact in Nigeria's history that I observed. Maybe you should do well to point it out singularly.

If you have read Chinaua Achebe's "There was a country", you will agree with most of Evarn's points. Mind, Achebe experienced the war first hand.

That being said, I find your optimism and wish for Africa to be pure, honourable but down right naive and unrealistic.

Nigeria's foreign policy has always had Africa at the centre since independence. So we played our role in apartheid southafrica, boycotting the common wealth games, pseudo-economic blockade with Great Britain, giving scholarships to ANC members and contributing money as well.

That didn't get us anywhere, immediately after apartheid, Mandela came in and the first thing he did was ask the West to sanction Nigeria over the Ogoni 9 in 1996.

During the Laurent Gbabo Ivory coast brouhaha, south Africa stationed a war ship in west African coastal waters when Nigerian led ECOWAS was still mediating on the crisis.

That was a disrespectful, tactless and political naivety from rookie, senseless south African government. Nigeria oversees the affairs of west Africa through ECOWAS, any body or group interfering makes standard consultation and assessment .

Nigeria is a power broker in Africa but her political maturity does not give her the freedom of going into .northern or southern African territories to resolve dispute without consultation with the power brokers in those regions.

At the heat of ghadafi's ouster in the Libyan civil war, Nigeria wanted ghadafi out because of his expansionist agenda in west Africa. Viewing Nigeria as a threat to this plan, he has called for the disintegration of Nigeria. Consequently Nigeria was the first country in Africa to officially recognise the rebel fighters (our international power play and foreign policy had always been spot on), and you realise that the ANC of southafrica took Nigeria's position to be openly criticized. The ANC had the balls to criticize Nigeria's government for supporting the rebels. ANC international political near-illiterates questioned the stance of the Nigerian government internationally.

You are politically hollow my friend, at least internationally. This isn't a nollywood thread, It's a military thread where tough facts are brought to the fore.

You asked why Egypt has remained passive in AU, well not only Egypt but all of north Africa are essentially middle eastern!!!

Egypt isn't African any more than Turkey is European. Occupying the geographical space of Africa or Europe so rare a times don't cut it.Egypt situated in Africa only makes her African geographically. She is the leader of the Arab world.

Also, you said Europe is united, I beg to scream my disapproval. The French rivals the Germans and the Brits rivals both, Italy is always trying to bully the Germans.. the EU is a community of economic and political alliance built on the premise of mutual fear and distrust of each other.

When the recently held referendum was held to determine if Scotland would become independent of the UK, France was literally petrified despite a century long support and alliance with Scotland, she never wished Scotland independence.
She didn't want a divided UK to leave her alone to tackle the growing power and influence of Germany in Europe. France wanted Scotland to ramain in UK for fear of Germany lording it alone over Europe.

There's isn't all that naive cooperation in Europe

During the Ebola outbreak, Nigeria was hit but we quickly curtailed and defeated Ebola and immediately sent help to our west African neighbours.

Lagos state alone sent out trained medical expert and personnel and relief materials to train and help other less experience doctors of Ebola ridden countries. The Nigerian government gave cash in dollars and aids. So it wasn't only IMF and the west that supported Africa.

You are guilty of the misrepresentation of Africa's/Nigeria's history. That is worse than the crime you accused Evarn of.

Europe formed the EU after years of wars, economic and technological rivalries. These rivalries later accelerated development and progress. It is the same rivalry that you see in India vs Pakistan, China vs Japan, north korea vs south korea and the Asia pacific countries. These rivalries have brought technological and economic advancement in these regions.

The industrial revolution of the 16th century brought Europeans you so admire into Africa in the race to outgrow and outpace each other. Europe has become the most developed continent for that.

Africa's advancement will come when a need for fierce rivalry and threat within appears.

Here's an example, the Portuguese were the colonial overlords of Angola but Angola never so the need to advance untill the South African SANDF made the foolish act of invading, occupying and killing 800 civilians in kassadinga.

And the Angolan army rose and held 11,000 strong SANDF troops with CIA mercenary who had heavy artillery and air support and the Angolan army gave them the most humiliating and decisive defeat in modern African history with teenage Cuban boys shooting down SANDF air planes from the sky.

That's what this thread is about. Feel free to start another thread on African integration on trade.
You don't have to preach, you just have to leave.

It's your call.

There is no 2014 Russian produced SU-30 only India and China currently has licensed production lines for there SU-30MKI and J-11 respectively.

The SU-30's is a great 3rd gen + fighter but it was built to counter the F-16 and F-18's used by predominantly Western powers. But it no longer holds an edge, that's why Russia is focusing on SU-35's to counter the growing threat of the F-22, F-35(still in development), Gripen Jas39C/NG, Eurofighter and lastly the Rafale.

Since you dream so much can you explain why India the second largest user of the SU-30's outside Russia is currently opting to buy 126 Rafale fighters.

Russia will be nuked from different continents and countries.

Western Europe will gladly surrender their territories for NATO and other allied forces. Because Russia is a real threat in today's Europe where countries are losing their national interest to integration of EU, Russia is still pursing nationalistic expansionist agenda. That alone makes her a threat to Finland, Sweden, Norway etc who are EU members.

Got no love for America or Russia, but this isn't an an America vs Russia war, it is going to be, if it ever becomes, and American led force with all of western Europe together with some remnant of former soviet union countries against Russia who still carries the hope of resurrecting the ghost of the former USSR.

If it happens, God help Russia.

In case of a war, all of western Europe will team up against Russia whom all of Europe distrust because of her expansionist agenda.

China won't enter any major war except she is attacked in her home soil. She is still building and doesn't want any stalling or distractions as she aims to catch up with Japan technologically.

The only country that might join Russia is north Korea but she isn't economically viable for any major war. Syria is another strong ally but her own civil war has all of her attention now.

Another Nigerian who missed history classes, the highest rank Ojukwu attained before 1967 was the rank of colonel and a governor by political appointment, If he ever assumed a General status, it must have been self acclaimed not earned from the Nigerian army, he taught the likes of Murtala Mohammed and Adekunle (black scorpion) in the Ghana defence academy (whatever it is called now), same students of his championed the most fierce blow to Ojukwu's Biafra, that tells you how badly he implemented his board room strategies.

Dont forget to mention that same Ojukwu "ran away","absconded" and practically "abandoned" his own revolution, first of its kind in their history at the time, thanks to General Effiong who negotiated the truce that saved us in a war we were clearly losing but needs to be fueled by the selfish ego of one senseless individual. what is special about a proven coward to be mentioned in history?
The tale of cowardice is so boring to the ears.

I dont know whether you were born at the time but testimonies from survivors said they actually started the war with machete and pitch forks, there was just one military installation in the east and after the January 15 coup by the eastern officers, majority of the arms in that barracks was withdrawn and transferred to Kaduna, that paved the way for the retaliatory coup of July.
The Biafrans practically improvised most of the arms they used, in all fairness, real weaponry started trickling in towards the end of the war when the likes of Ivory coast and France came to their rescue.

It was no news that most Biafran soldiers fought 2 to 1 riffle at the onset of the conflict as a matter of undiluted fact, Calabar sector fell because Ojukwu at some point made a desperate attempt to sustain Enugu by withdrawing Sub machine guns from Calabar " we that are about to die salute you" hope it rings a bell.
Be very careful the level of misinformation you throw out here, your child may be reading and forming a clueless opinion with it.
As much as your account of the biafran war might be more accurate, your swift impulse to lecture Evarn numbed your sensitivity to what he was saying. His emphasis was on the Nigerian army. He never sided or implied Ojukwu was a hero.

I would love to see more detailed account of military history and standing from you just like in your last post, that is, hoping your penchant for putting a patriotic Nigerian down doesn't become the overwhelming compulsion.

seriously the reason for your stance is perverted

FYI, vaginall exam is painful too for the female patients, nt what u thinkin
we have a few woman who have complained of being abused by doctors. Abroad, there are many litigations over doctors and their female patients.

Recently, a Nigerian male nurse in the US had his cell phone with the nudity of female patients at his hospital,CNN source.
What you call perversion has generated thousands of litigations world wide against doctors who went beyond the medical line.
Here in nairaland on this thead, some mothers have also expressed their concern. And there have also been instances where doctors have abused women in such situations

Your post is unevenly biased and subjectively one sided with no facts and sound logic to back you up.
I should put your biological constitution to a rigorous test.
But again this exercise so far has generated and yielded no educational gains or intellectual insight. Only a childish martyrdom for your proffesion. Further more, I don't think the debate is worth my time or keystrokes.

Your weak logic only validate my stand: when a woman is in emergency or dire situation any doctor goes to save life. That's the most important.

If it were for normal routine check most women and husbands would prefer a female doctor examining their vâginâs if they are given the choice.

I'm a MALE and a HUMAN, there's no act of human conduct or behavior that is alien to me; to understand the most heroic and benevolent acts of kindness done by other humans, I just have to look inwards, to myself.

In the same vain, to understand some of the most horrific, vicious human accounts, I just have to look within myself.

I do not have to be a "pervert" or "weird" to assume what a doctor feels or does not feel. While we may not be certain of what goes on in a doctor's mind, his acts are sure. And it is his acts I'm worried about more than his mindset.

All humans are more similar than they are different.
Take off the garb of hypocrisy, self-righteousness and ill-fitted god-complex from your vulnerable back.

In the course of this thread, some women have stated their distaste for a doctor putting their fingers inside their cûňts. And this have generated many legal suits against doctors abroad.

A female nurse handling a male patient will at best/worse shave is pubic hairs off, clean him up and administer drugs/drip.

A male doctor handling a female patients can at best or worse handle her brëâst looking for lumps in detection of early brêäst cancer; insert his finger into her váginâ to examine her pelvis or whatever.

Where in my posts was it said or even implied that it is a daily affair every time a pregnant female visits her doctor?

Whether the doctor willingly, necessarily, reluctantly puts his hands there isn't the crux. It is morally unethical for him to do. The only instance where morality would be swept aside is under emergency to save her life.

Instances where a pregnant woman visits the hospital routinely fully okay in appearance, a female gynecologist should attend her simply.

And spare me the doctor pervert line.
I have experienced SO MANY instances where YOUNG male doctors unprofessionally brag about not only the numbers of female organs they have examined but also shapes and sizes.
The golden generation of professional doctors with sound ethics is slipping off. The majority of younger ones are mostly egocentric, forced by parents and peers into the medical profession. Most of them take the Hippocratic oat without the import.

My inlaw landed a hot slap on the face of a young doctor undergoing House-manship in Jos when she had to be stitched after child birth some years ago. Had he been a full doctor, it would have been a more serious matter.

My stand isn't complex, under emergency, her life comes first. Under routine observation and checkup, morality and decency take the front seat.

Don't you think that's a little low coming from a MOD ?

I think the cloak of responsibility is too heavy for your frail shoulders.

Watch your cheap outrageous language, that's my team there.

Bros, not all Dr s are medical doctors na! Some na just degree gotten from other courses.

Ehmmm, so the crux of the mater na say make nobody put finger for OPs wife nyansh ba? OP, just look for a female doctor and, if it happens that your wife should need any medical attention and its a male doctor on call, do not let him help her,
On the other hand, OP can start studying medicine now and make sure he gets his license to practice before he impregnantes his wife. That way, he can bang her, impregnate her , care for her and deliver her.
Op nor worry too much, when the time comes, you will just want everything to come end safely and peacefuly you wont have time to notice any thing.
I Was expecting men to feel sorry for their wives who have to deal with a stranger seeing her vajayjay and puting his finger in her. Rather the men are more concerned about their own ego. Na wa o. No single sympathy for the wives facing the whole ish!
My stand has always been except in cases of emergency I am opposed to male doctors tampering with the privacy of female patients. It is one of the unconscionable inclusiveness of the 21st century where sex and its related matter has become casual.

Majority of female patients who aren't in the state of natural Anastasia(unconsciousness under emergency) find it disturbing and repulsive a stranger inserting a finger into their privacy.

A distinction in medical degree is not a certificate of morality. Females by nature succumb to authority or instructions, or better still, to subculture of an environment or society, so even when they feel a slight need or compulsion to protest an express intrusion of their privacy by a male doctor whose only qualification to the theater of the dark and moist is a medical degree( I know getting it isn't easy but neither is it a prerequisite for gauging morality).

Except where HER LIFE IS IN DANGER OR IN EMERGENCY, such act should be avoided. It should be a last resort.

Right after Nigeria, America & all other countries with criminals. This is not an everyday occurance on our streets, unlike in other countries where bodies litter the streets on a daily basis.

I guess if you live by the knife, then you die by the knife. It's sad to see people die this way but people also need to lead lives that don't expose them to dangerous people & situations. It doesn't always have to be about the govt when someone dies because they're are the ones that get themselves involved in dubious deals in the 1st. Their problem.
, From available statistics, southafrica is number 1 in homicide/murder in the world!!!

And one of the highest in attempted murder just behind the US.

Southafrica also enjoys the unenviable position of the world's rápë capital in God's own green planet.

She is also home to the highest infant řapę in the land of aliens, humans and spirits.

You have got to take responsibility for your actions and not blame it on foreigners domiciled in southafrica. The percentage of foreigners to the ratio of murders in southafrica DO NOT TALLY.

There are 89 murders every 24 hours in southafrica, baby and it's an indisputable fact.

Ah! Your list isn't complete. You conveniently left out education, entrepreneurial skills, creativity, tenacity, empire building, science and technology, sports and international power play.

The fact is Ghana isn't on the maps. You are the armpit of west Africa, the victim of neo colonialism, a 21st century begger nation.

Spare us your childish rantings, you are having emotional diarrhoea with a rage for Nigeria that could consume you.

If you quote me, come with facts and not cheap rumblings like a woman suffering MC
