Hello house, I am in the process of applying for visitor visa to Canada. I am adding my 6 months old son as a dependant. do I need to complete the IMM 5476 form? when I update his profile to add that, the IRCC portal is also adding it to mine to be uploaded. its a bit confusing. thanks

okay thank you. I just sent the documents again. I'll send the email to them too. Hopefully this resolves it.
MayorOfEdmonton:
IMO,

It doesn’t hurt to send the documents again & a compassionate msg in seperate webforms to CIO/Accra/Nairobi. Not just asking for update.
You can even go one further and send a compassionate email to RROC(ircc.in-rroc-corr-ri.ircc@cic.gc.ca) stating how the delay has been affecting you (emotional&mental health) & how you look forward to reuniting with your wife and new born.
RROC has been known in the past to help follow up on Citizens/PRs pending family reunification applications.
Some folks even send webforms every week to their visa office until their visa is approved!!!
Cheers

Hello house, I have a sponsorship application for my wife ongoing. we had a baby in September and we sent a webform immediately to let the IRCC know. my wife's application was approved in November, on the same day we got our baby' passport from the Nigerian immigration office. we sent a webform to upload the baby's passport and the immigration forms for the add on request to include her in the application. Ever since then the online tracker doesn't show any progress. Reaching out to the Accra office via webform doesn't seem to help too. I sent a generic webform around the middle of January and I got this response.

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that the information was received by the responsible office.
If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

I sent another one to the Accra office on Friday and the response was we got from them was "Regarding your daughter, you were advised to contact CIO to add her to the application.". This has been done since November.

I am really confused as to what is going on, and if we sent the files to the appropriate office. what can I do please?

NuCypher:

Wait your turn. Just as they had time to approve your wife's, they will also your baby.
Okay thanks. Just to clarify, we didn’t send my wife’ passport to them for stamping.

Hi house, I have a sponsorship application in process to bring my wife over to Canada. We had a new baby in September and we raised a webform to notify IRCC. We got our baby' passport in Early November and coincidentally, my wife's application was approved. We sent an add on request to add our baby to the application the same day along with the imm008 and imm1344 forms. Also submitted the birth certificates, passport bio data page and application fee for the baby using a webform.
We got an acknowledgement that the files have been added to the application but haven't heard anything since then. I'm a bit confused if there's anything we missed or should have done. If anyone can help clarify if there's anything else we need to do. Thanks.

Hi Folks, I have a question please, How does one go about removing an uncompleted building from a purchased plot of land to erect a new building. The building is at the lintel stage on the ground floor, ready to be decked. Is it possible to remove this building and also remove or reuse the German floor to construct a new one with different designs?
Asking as I am looking at a plot of land to purchase. Thank you.

Hi guys, please I’m trying to apply for prtd to go back to canada. I completed an application using the ‘prson‘ platform Fridays ago and I’m yet to hear back from them. Didn’t even get an acknowledgement. Anyone with experience with this and is this the usual procedure? Thank you in advance

I submitted my application 30th of August & got a response 30th of September. If you haven't received yours yet, you can send them a paid Email to know WHY they are delaying.
Was this a decision response? I got a mail explaining the delay

First thing is I never got any call from them, and I also replied the email the same day they sent it to me. So this is extremely wrong. Any ideas what I can do next?
