My cousin that gave me assurance that she's coming to do omuguo for me just called to tell me she's sick so she can't make it.
After putting my hopes in her.
Well I get hand and leg and I'm going to do my omuguo myself, hopefully labour will be smooth and short.

My dear, you will be amazed by the No of people that will come through for when you give birth, help wil come from people you least expert coupled with your omugwo experiences, you will be just Fine!!

You shld adjust after about a month or so on your own, it ain't easy tho but the Lord is your strength!!

These days, I just can't stop dreaming of how it will be... Will it start daytime or nighttime? Will my water break first or contractions first? Will I shout, cry or groan? Will I do it myself or resort to cs? Sometimes I dramatise it all in my head, then I just ask God to take over.
I feel like I'm awaiting one all important exam with all the exam tension, but I know in all, God gat us.

They said he needs blood transfusion!

So my Lo's weight is at 2.58kg at exactly 35 weeks today (I hope the weight is ok at this stage).DH wants a big Baby *eyes rolling* but I just told him the Baby will add weight when She is here cos am aiming at 2.9/3.2kg for Lo at Birth...I hope dat can work tho!!

To God b all d glory my baby arrived dis morning by 12:15 am. Was 8cm when I arrived D hospital by 9:30. Indeed wat God said in d Bible was for me(Is 66:7 ).and God who did it for me will do it for other mama's in d huz.its a boy,edd was Oct 6 but delivered Sept 26.

I think it is part of the package, I have itchy teary eye coupled with a little swelling under my eye bag but it was detected at the early stage...an eyedrop was prescribed!

So don't self medicate, u need to see a Doc before taking/ using any drugs.

Oya the method:-

Ingredients:-
Catfish, medium size red onion, Scotch bonnet /Ata rodo(thinly chopped ), Garlic( 2 cloves), ground crayfish, 2 tbsp pepper soup spice,ginger powder/ minced raw ginger,1/2 tsp Ata gungun/cayenne pepper,Dry or fresh Efinrin,2 Knorr cubes, salt, pinch of palm oil, salt.

Procedure....
Clean fish and cut into desired sizes.
Place the fish in pot, add water to cover the fish, place on low- medium heat, add the onions, garlic, ginger, knorr cubes and salt .
Cover to bring to a boil. Let cook for some 5 minutes then add the pepper soup spice, ground crayfish, ata gun gun and ata rodo( I like it spicy) and pinch of palm oil( I like the look it gives it).
Leave to cook for 2 minutes, then add the noodles, leave to cook for some 3 minutes.( ensure the noodles isn't undercooked/overcooked but be careful not to overcook so they don't crumble in
Add the raw or fresh Efinrin/Basil leaves. Bring down from cooker/turn off the heat, leave to simmer for 5 minutes ( the aroma takes over and seeps in well).


You can also use spiralized yam( saw a pix of that).

It can give you the indomie look( for a more balanced, filling and deliciously yummy meal)...

Lucky you if u still comfortable sleeping on your tummy, stopped sleeping on mine when I was aproaching my 2nd trimester but I can't even try it at the moment...it's either Left/right side or nothing. So enjoy it now while you can before you get to when u feel uncomfortable sleeping on it but tummy sleeping is Bae sha, can't wait to resume bk to it!!

I think you can still stick with the Folic acid till you are about 12 wks. Then you can get Haemaron with any good fish oil capsules dat doesn't have mercury( ask your Doc /pharmacist for the one dat suits you).
You really don't have to break the bank for yor pre natals!!

The way this thread flies ehennnn, one can't be gone for a minute. Plz o,there is this eye drop am taking prescribed by an optician cos I have this teary and hitchy eye due to too much fluid in my eyes since I got pregnant(started in my first trimester) but I had to stop cos my MIL said it ain't safe and dat it will affect my baby's eyes,she can be overprotective atimes. I dunno if this is a Myth or its true but the optician and my Doc. Said it's safe, but my MIL's warning keeps ringing in my ears as I don't wantu harm my Baby and regret it later . plz sabi mamas help me shade more light into this matter.

PS: the eyes is still scratchy and teary once a while and I always have this little puffiness under my right eye bag area since I stopped using the Eye drop!!

Yaay it's my birthday today, looking at how far I've come in the last 1 year, I realize God loves me, this time last year I wasn't in a happy place.
I was filled with so much worry, Ttc was beginning to take its toll on me, I would cry every month AF showed up. Here I am today , 20weeks and 5 days gone, feeling my baby's kick already. I know it can only be God, back in April I cried when AF showed up and told God I wanted it to be my last one in 2017, six weeks later I got my BFP, this was also exactly 6 weeks after my beautiful niece was born.
God turned my trial into testimony.
