are they evergreen niches that won't fade off, i mean what if i buy them and they are not as profitable, yeah maybe profitable but not as profitable as you said
2) some niches in kindle business are seasonal, do these keywords not fall into such categories?

but i wonder how much it will cost to hire a very good ghost writer and then ofcourse graphic designer and what have you....its really really worth the investment when you look at it.

This is a business...not some get rich quick scheme.

Even when I started back in 2016, I wasn't shy to invest as much as $200 into books because I knew I had over 70 years to make a return on my investment.

In this business, you get what you pay for.

I've once taken the easy way out and paid $40 for a book...guess what? that book ended up being a pile of crap. This has happened plenty of time I don't bother hiring cheap writers who haven't got a clue and who aren't invested in seeing you succeed.

Quality writers cost money and, if you have ambition of making thousands of dollars with your publishing business, what is $120?

You are building a brand...customers need to see you as the guy with the quality stuff. That's how you command a premium price.

If you manage to find a quality writer for cheap...kudos to you. But that's rare...Good writers know what they're worth.

Besides, if you do things right, you can make back your money within 3-4 months.

i think i would rather spend money and do my audiobooks than opt for any royalty share deal(not interested).
Yeah am told its upwards of $50 an hour for a good narrator........But how much does a good quality audiobook sell for on kindle publishing and how long does it take to get an audiobook ready

Am told this business is like real estate. do the hard work and then get your returns infinitum as long as you write good quality books. An acquaintance also told me this is the best time to get into audiobook publishing as the surface has not even been scratched.

For the course on audiobook publishing, maybe you should give it a very serious thought.it a negligible few that have really seen the light concerning selling audiobooks you know.

Yes, it'll cost between $150-$200 for a 3-4 hour audiobook. It can cost less if you negotiate a better deal (I've hired narrators that did the job for less than $50..although they weren't that great. In addition, if you opt for royalty share deal then your cost of production will be $0).

With regards to your second question, writing these ebooks is very time-consuming but I might create one for audiobook publishing when I get a chance.

Congrats on your recent earnings sir.its quite encourain and i must say very inspiring.Please keep up the good work and quietly ignore the naysayers.

To your question..

1. You can negotiate rates with narrators but I usually pay $50 per finished hour for the best narrators.

2. My current earning is based on 43 audiobooks..it's taken me 2+ years to accumulate them. An audiobook in a good niche can fetch you atleast $50 per month (My best audiobook to date made me over $3000 in its debut month...sales sort of slow down after that)

3. I estimate it'll cost atleast $300 to ensure you're well positioned to earn income from audiobooks from Nigeria. After that, cost of writing a high quality 10,000 words book is atleast $120...formating/book cover design might cost another $30...you can hire a narrator and pay them to narrate your book or you can enter a royalty share deal with a narrator where you pay nothing but you share your royalty with them for 7 years on that audiobook (so cost of audiobook production can be $0)

To start seeing some consistent earnings from audiobooks you need to have atleast 5. Like i always say, this is a real business not a get rich quick scheme.

Back in 2016 I was earning $200, $300 etc. from audiobooks but I kept at it..I kept building up my portfolio..reinvesting profits. My earnings now is a direct result of the work I put in over the years.

If I can do it, anyone can.

Good morning, it's easier to make sales on draft2digital followed by createspace. Kindle is the toughest now. I don't publish on Lulu. I am also not too pleased with the merger of createspace and kdp because I get most of my sales from createspace. However, since we have no say in the decision, we will make the most of it. Who knows, it may even be better for us.

Well LAPO is a very good option but i think the highest they can give is 500k, but it can get up to a million if you have built a good business relationship with them over time and this involves paying for loan as at when due amongst other criteria, but this is the most important one.I talk from real-time and real life experience.
