Politics › Re: Mobs Kill Six Bandits In Southern Kaduna.. by LibertyRep: 10:12pm On Dec 25, 2020
I hope they've not unknowingly killed people from a certain ethnic group.

This is because a prominent person once said whoever kills anyone from that ethnic group has taken a debt repayable later.
Travel › Re: See The Odd Side Of Living In Canada: Nigerian Lady Experience: PICS & VIDEO by LibertyRep: 10:57am On Dec 25, 2020
Even if that cold is times 2, it won't still deter Nigerians from seeking greener pastures there even in the Antarctic.

We move!
Education › Re: Deborah Okezie: ‘My Life In Danger’ – Mother Of Deeper Life Schoolboy by LibertyRep: 9:08am On Dec 25, 2020
There's no way a true mother will keep quite with that magnitude of damage allegedly done to her son. No way!

This woman does not look like someone that could be intimidated, they'll have to try another tactic.

The matter should be properly investigated by a neutral body and the culprits adequately punished, while the boy is rehabilitated.
Politics › Re: Bashir Magashi: Kankara Schoolboys' ‘Rescue’ Was Christmas Gift To Nigerians by LibertyRep: 9:20pm On Dec 24, 2020
Should the abduction have happened in the first instance?
Sports › Re: Budweiser Gets Customized Bottles For Keepers Messi Scored Against by LibertyRep: 6:19pm On Dec 24, 2020

Politics › Re: Anambra Delegation Came To See Obasanjo, But He Refused To Let Them In - Adefuye by LibertyRep: 1:05pm On Dec 24, 2020
So they want to technically ease out the SE from the contest, it's not going to work.

Rochas, Kalu and Obi will not agree.

Obasanjo is the Balogun of Owu, a bonafide Yoruba man even if his father was from Anambra.
Politics › Re: Akin Alabi Health Center Project In Ibadan (Photos) by LibertyRep: 12:57pm On Dec 24, 2020
The health center small true true.

He can do better next time.

But people get bad mouth sha, hian!
Politics › Re: Beware Of Those Who Want To Portray Buhari As Not Being In Charge - Presidency by LibertyRep:
This is the first administration where the 'presidency' seems to be popular than the president.

Most major decisions, appointments and policy pronunciation are made by 'The Presidency'

How then won't discerning minds conclude that the The President, who has been doing hide and seek with Nigerians isn't really in charge but some unelected people hiding under the appellation of The Presidency.
Politics › Re: BREAKING: ASUU Calls Off Nine-month-old Strike by LibertyRep: 9:21am On Dec 23, 2020
If I have the means, no worker who has stayed away from work for this far would be paid, that should be part of the sacrifice for the struggle.

I don't know wether to congratulate the students or not because it looks like the second wave of Covid-19 might prevent opening of schools.
Politics › Re: Have The Igbos Accidentally Taken Yoruba Slot? by LibertyRep: 7:47pm On Dec 22, 2020
Even though the intention of the rumor peddlers is obvious

....but to be sincere, the late Igwe and Obasanjo look alike.

If truly the man served in Owu around the time of Obasanjo's birth, then. ..
Politics › Re: We’ve To Stop Herdsmen From Roaming Around, Says Presidency by LibertyRep: 6:35pm On Dec 22, 2020
It's day break.

Why would anyone, in this modern time, feel it's better to wander around with cattle, grazing them on the sweat of another person, that's a perfect recipe for unending clashes.

Private ranching is the way to go. I hope the nomads will embrace it.

Bia, what happened to the breath-taking, beautiful pictures of ranches being bandied about by Northern governors in the heat of ranching debate? Were they all for the camera?
Politics › Re: Buhari Has Achieved A Lot With Little Resources, Nigerians Are Ungrateful - Lai by LibertyRep: 5:33pm On Dec 22, 2020
To them, Buhari is doing us a favor by being the president.

Only God knows how they discuss about us in their private moments.

Very arrogant opportunist!
Politics › Re: Alleged ₦7.1 Billion Fraud: Court Fixes February 2 To Commence Kalu’s Retrial by LibertyRep: 5:11pm On Dec 22, 2020
This might take forever to conclude.

If only the new judge can just start from where the former judge stopped before the elevation.

Kalu will most likely walk free.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Close To Becoming A Failed State, Says Financial Times Of London by LibertyRep:
Can this be halted?

The signs have all been there.

There's no need to trade blames at this point, all hands should be on deck to rescue the sinking ship.

Granted that mistakes have been made, Buhari couldn't live to expectations. I wish patriotic Nigerians join hands to rescue the nation first before coming back to the ineptitude of this government.
Politics › Re: Olu Of Warri Just Died Of Covid 19. by LibertyRep: 7:06am On Dec 22, 2020
RIP to the monarch.

But does this mean Corona is the cause of every death now ?

It's not just about extending the deadline, it's about making the the registration seamless at various NIMC centers.
Politics › Re: Large Crowds Besiege NIMC Offices Over NIN/SIM Cards Deadline (Photos) by LibertyRep: 12:15pm On Dec 21, 2020
How can a government that has been warning against travelling and gathering during this festive period suddenly wants people to congregate for NIN with this short notice?

Something isn't right.
Business › Re: Why Buhari Re-Opened Nigeria’s Land Borders — Vanguard by LibertyRep: 10:10am On Dec 21, 2020
Was there any positive result from the closure of our land borders?

Was the Government ill-advised or they just wanted our neighbors to know we're the big boss in the region?

Everyone just cashing out from any quarters.
Politics › Re: Army, Police Fight Over Rescue Of Abducted Islamiya Students In Katsina by LibertyRep: 9:47am On Dec 21, 2020

Politics › Re: “they’ll Say The Cake Is N400M” – Nigerians Tease Buhari Over His Birthday Cake by LibertyRep: 12:17pm On Dec 20, 2020
No face mask on any of them. Even SGF that should be in isolation

The Chilean president would wish he's ruling Nigeria.

...or was this photograph from previous parties?
Science/Technology › Re: China fires up its 'artificial sun' for the first time (Pics) by LibertyRep: 12:05pm On Dec 19, 2020
Fusion is a clean source of energy unlike fission.

Physicists aren't resting. What we were told in elementary Physics before was that nuclear fusion isn't possible yet because there are no materials that can withstand the heat beaded to fuse the nuclei.

But with this, give it to science already.

Politics › Re: All Quiet In Amosun’s Camp by LibertyRep: 11:18am On Dec 19, 2020
It is rumored that the backing Amosun was hitherto enjoying in the presidency was facilitated by the late Chief of Staff.

For a man whose supporters left for the APM during the last election, it must be the height of political braggadocio and over estimation of oneself for him to attempt to take over the party so easily.

Others who stayed behind dey sleep abi?
Politics › Re: The Truth About Lagos Is Bitter by LibertyRep: 10:42pm On Dec 18, 2020
Real development was witnessed in Lagos during the era of Baba Kekere.

With little resources, he established so much and worked for the interest of the Lagosians..

Only Lagosians can truly extricate themselves from the strangulating grip of opportunists that came since 1999
Politics › Re: Nigeria Got Foreign Help Rescuing Katsina Schoolboys – Lai Mohammed by LibertyRep: 9:55pm On Dec 18, 2020
Lai is late to the party. Matawalle has taken the shine already.

Why the unnecessary attempt at trying to differentiate between bandits and Boko Haram?
Aren't they two sides of the same evil the Government should be fighting?
Politics › Re: Kankara Abduction: Garba Shehu Apologises For Misleading Nigerians by LibertyRep: 6:46pm On Dec 18, 2020
In the heat of deflecting and defending the indefensible, he forgot to cross check the fact, the very first thing he should do.

I hope their supporters extend such grace to those banding different figures on the alleged Lekki shootings.
Politics › Re: Aisha Yesufu Condemns Use Of Miyetti Allah To Negotiate Release Of Schoolboys by LibertyRep: 3:33pm On Dec 18, 2020
It appears this was a well coordinated abduction amongst various wings of the same terrorist organization.

Team work pays. They all must have cashed out big time.

Christmas is set.

Politics › Re: Mike Ejiofor: Masari Laid Foundation For Kidnapping In Error - Ex-DSS Director by LibertyRep: 2:51pm On Dec 18, 2020
Was it actually done in error?

How on earth were the over 300 boys moved from Katsina to Zamfara so easily?

This reeks of connivance from the highest places
