Welcome to Nigeria. |
One of them is on his way to the APC. |
Simple as ABC |
The Senate will still confirm him regardless |
So says the Emir of Iwo. Why should the attempt to stop the marauders be termed as invitation to war? Should those being killed and maimed daily continue to surrender cheaply to their attackers? Yorubas do not want war but want an end to incessant killing and insecurity on their land. How's that an invitation to war? |
These are the people giving the criminals moral and political support. Imagine talk from and reasoning of the Chief Security Officer of a state. |
If not because I saw Vanguard as the source, I could have taken the story as one of those Twitter stories. But some people are inherently wicked sha. |
Unfortunately we can't ask late Jakande to authenticate this statement now. |
Including Dangote trucks too? Make the guy no vex say him no dey sell refined oil for us again. On a serious note, three things will reduce the congestion 1. Open up and enlarge the ports in the other parts of the nation. 2. Remove the unnecessary bottlenecks, touts and layers of corruption at the port to make business seamless. 3. Most importantly, FIX THE ROAD. Do these things and some level of sanity at that axis. |
Who accounts for the soul of the innocent kid lost during the abduction? Oh I get, it's a collateral damage! May karma and posterity judge them all. |
There should be no justification for a group of people to unilaterally declare curfew except there's no govt in place again. This same Ipokia has been under the threat of vicious herders recently. One would have expected the people to unite against their common enemy. If the Oro festivals will last for 7 days , won't the other faiths be affected? |
Too late Mr. Governor. From the abundance of the mind, the mouth speaketh. |
The same technically defeated BokoHaram? Uncle Lai disagrees. |
The problem now is who is in charge of INSECURITY in Nigeria? |
Someone should secure the key to the national vault now! |
It will be disastrous for the ambition and image Lai and his gang in the South West at the end. They're about to be made irrelevant in the APC. Unfortunately for them, their silence on the ongoing insecurity in the South West has already angered the people. 2021/22 will be interesting. |
The Southern leaders will keep chasing the elusive 2023 presidency they dangle in front of them while the enemies come in through the back door. If the criminals could be that bold and vicious in the Northern region where they share they largely share the same faith and culture with them, they'll surely be ruthless in the South if given the chance to operate. Wake up call to the Southern leaders. |
I've seen supposedly good people bedridden with sicknesses, hence no justification for mocking anyone with health challenges. Even though Femi Don f*ck up well we'll, I still wish him healing if he's truly afflicted. |
Asylum sure. In the same state, someone was caught on camera stuffing hard currency in his Babanriga yet the same weight of the religious law couldn't be brought against him. Isn't this hypocrisy? |
They will discredit anything, everything and anyone not in their favor. |
duro4chang:We're practically saying the same thing. His silence is being regarded as an unsaid support for the criminal herders and that has emboldened them while infuriating their victims more. I do not think this wholesale resentment for herders and anything North has happened before. |
To be frank, most of these crisis predates Buhari's administration,. But to be honest, his actions and inactions have aggravated and worsened the situation. |
I don't understand why a simple order for killer herdsmen to vacate the state's forest becomes an instigation. If not because some of the Southern leaders wouldn't want to offend their 'slave masters' for the fear of loosing the 2023 ticket, I see no reason why all of them shouldn't rise in unison to tackle the 'invasion' by these marauders. The Sasha incident is unfortunate and condemnable but we should stop and ask ourselves how a brawl between two individuals could easily snowball into a free for all ethnic fight. Something isn't right with this forced marriage and we shouldn't pretend the building is good by repainting it. |
The Gov of Bauchi state may have unwittingly gave us an insight into the mindset of the leaders in that region. |
Because they don't go about killing, maiming and destroying their host's businesses.. |
What's this in the South West? The fear of offending or loosing the support of Aso Rock is the root of this problem. Who will rise and defend the defenceless against these Marauders? |
Nigeria may be on autopilot |
Peaceful coexistence is desirable. The Gov must however be reminded that gifting people's ancestral lands to pacify some people, mostly foreigners, is a cowardly act that will bring further resentment in years to come. |
If it's not in their party's constitution, then expect an aggrieved or sponsored person or group to approach the court shortly and demand that the exercise be rendered null and void... |
A governor sometimes boasted of appeasing some criminals by paying them to stop the killings in the southern part of his state. I can't remember who the governor is but I hope it isn't Elrufai else his statement could amount to hypocrisy. |
