About time we learn how not to cry more than the bereaved.

Some people have cashed out for the Christmas.
Nairaland General › Re: Ghastly Motor Accident In Nsukka Yesterday Morning (Photos) by LibertyRep: 8:51am On Dec 18, 2020
If it's not your time, it's not your time.

Many have died by mere tripping on a stone and falling.

That was a close shave. I rejoice with the man and his family for a new gift of life.
I sympathize with him on the loss of his vehicle but when there's life many things can still be restored.

May we all not be unfortunate.
Politics › Re: Bola Tinubu, A Man Hated For Loving His People by LibertyRep:
Loving his people?

There's nothing wrong in trying to hype your master for your pay, it's part of the hustling.

But while doing it, ensure you do not further enrage the people as that could be counter productive.

People like Lateef Jakande, Bisi Onabanjo etc who achieved lot with little resources should deserve our praises and not some modern day opportunists.

Politics › Re: EXCLUSIVE : How Dementia Prevented Buhari From Visiting Katsina School. by LibertyRep: 9:21pm On Dec 15, 2020
It's hard to believe that the president was briefed about the abduction on Saturday.

I mean how could such a National embarrassment be kept away from the number 1 citizen when the incident coincidentally happened in his home state on the day of his visit?

The first person to hear about the abduction who should order the army for the rescue is the Commander-in-Chief.
Politics › Re: Ipob trends no 1 as Nigerians React to the Launch of Security Outfit (pix) by LibertyRep: 4:02pm On Dec 14, 2020
Wether Kanu is deceitful or not is not the issue.

For a man to be able to pull such stunt in the country without the security agents knowing makes him deserve a credit.
Politics › Re: Students Abduction: Army Making Reassuring Noises, Says Mailafia by LibertyRep: 3:55pm On Dec 14, 2020
Reassuring noises.

That's deep.

Mailafia has got a bad mouth.

You can't but agree with him. Nigeria should seek for international help to combat these privileged terrorists.
Politics › Re: Just In: We Know Whereabouts Of Kankara Schoolboys- Defence Minister by LibertyRep: 3:42pm On Dec 14, 2020
AsiwajuNdigbo:
Buhari is a prime asset. You want bandits to swoon in and seize himhuh Even in that Daura they are not announcing his location. These terrorists are not playing. They will be happy to grab baba.
If the security situation has deteriorated to that extent, then we should come down our high horses as a nation and seek international help.
Politics › Re: Just In: We Know Whereabouts Of Kankara Schoolboys- Defence Minister by LibertyRep: 10:59am On Dec 14, 2020
Buhari missed another opportunity to shine as a retired military general again.

He should have temporarily relocated to Kankara and direct the rescue operation, judging that the criminals may not have moved farther.
Politics › Re: 5 Years Of Zaria Massacre, Sheikh Zakzaky Still Awaits Justice by LibertyRep: 8:33pm On Dec 13, 2020
There was no justification for the Zaria massacre of the Shiites.

It's awful how many tried to justify it on religious and ethnic sentiment.

They just dey give order, sack and appointments in Buhari's name.

My own be say will Mr. Ponde dramatist walk away freely after the theatrics?

Has the government placed water tight measures in place to prevent Mr. Awka from following the ignoble paths of Ponde?
Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Inflation Caused By Closure Of Land Borders, Insecurity – World Bank by LibertyRep: 4:34pm On Dec 12, 2020
World Bank knew the closure of the land borders especially in the South is partly responsible for the inflation.
If they eventually approve the loan request without first insisting that the borders be opened, then they're just willing accomplices who want to profit from Nigerians misfortune

They ran away because of the superior firepower of the military, yet they were able to escape with their victims.

I don't understand

Politics › Re: Governor Sule Appoints Aide As Nasarawa APC Caretaker Chairman by LibertyRep: 12:11pm On Dec 11, 2020
low2high:
President Buhari did the same at the national level where he appointed Mala Buni, the governor of Yobe state as Apc caretaker chairman.

POLITICIANS JUST DO WHATEVER THEY LIKE IN NIGERIA without respect for the provision in the constitution.

Even the constitution they blend it to suit their taste.
That's the bane of the development of this country in all sectors.
Everyone acts with impunity, like a Good unto himself.
Politics › Re: Governor Sule Appoints Aide As Nasarawa APC Caretaker Chairman by LibertyRep: 11:32am On Dec 11, 2020
Every state Gov wants the structure of the party in their kitty.

Caretaker committee either in Local Government or in political parties are anomalies that should be discontinued.
Politics › Re: Sagay To National Assembly: British Parliament Can’t Summon Queen by LibertyRep: 8:02pm On Dec 10, 2020
British didn't bequeath unto us monarchial form of government.

Now we have a modern day Emir/Sultan+ Igwe and Oba rolled into one.

By the way, where's Aisha Buhari?
She has been out of radar lately.

They need not to have come in the night.

Someone led thugs into the National Assembly to cart away the mace. Guess the position he's holding in that same chamber now.
Music/Radio › Re: Di'ja's Single "Inyamuri" Generate Ethnic Reactions (Photos) by LibertyRep: 11:58am On Dec 10, 2020
Sanchez01:
Nothing is wise about it. Ethnic banters are one thing, rubbing certain slurs on one's face is another. The word is derogatory and not a wise business move. And to think that it is coming at a time when ethnic gaps are getting wider on a daily, it is a wrong call.

Mavin shouldn't have let this slide. Don Jazzy is half Igbo and should have been abreast of the history of the name. This is a miss.
This is the exact controversy they court by using the supposedly derogatory word.
They want publicity and controversy and they'll get it freely.
Music/Radio › Re: Di'ja's Single "Inyamuri" Generate Ethnic Reactions (Photos) by LibertyRep: 11:41am On Dec 10, 2020
This will generate the needed attention and publicity.

Politics › Re: Are Zamfara State Doctors The Lowest Paid In The World ? by LibertyRep: 11:33am On Dec 10, 2020
You want to embark on a strike action not because of any grievances with your employer but because of solidarity with your colleagues somewhere that are being owed.

By this action, you will deny hapless citizens the access to medical care for which you will still be paid for.

Why should there be any frivolous strike in the medical services? Why?

Aren't there any other avenues to address this than to further subject the poor masses to hardship.

Why is everyone feeling like a God unto himself in this country?
Politics › Re: Don't Pass 2021 Budget If Buhari Fails To Honour Invitation- Omokri Tells Senate by LibertyRep: 10:17pm On Dec 09, 2020
They don't have the balls.

Many of them are in that chamber at the benevolence of the Presidency.

Recall that the DSP was practically kneeling before the president immediately he won the contest.

Had Jakande's metro train contract not vindictively terminated, Lagos perhaps would have been running the underground tunnels by now.
Politics › Re: Nasir Kwarra: Nigeria’s Population Is Officially 206 Million by LibertyRep:
How will a country plan for her citizens without a verifiable data?

When we're ready, the first thing what we should get right is the population backed with acceptable census and not some postulations.
