This is exactly what the terrorists wanted all along. Now watch as the number of out of school children will soar. I hope the Southern leaders will stop sitting on the fence and take decisive actions now before the terrorists find a foot in the South |
Good job by the troops. My worry is why some untrained ragtags have succeeded in giving our gallant men this magnitude of headache for years. Something is obviously incapacitating our military against these criminals. Those fuelling the needless terrorism and banditry must have made enough money by now. They should at least consider the plight of the families being thrown into mourning every now and then. |
FATGBEMS is actually one of the reputable filling stations in Abeokuta. This may just be accidental as the company said. Compensation should be duly given to the affected customers. |
This may bring Nigerian students onto the streets. Both ASUU members and the govt officials may be affected. |
Paid to who? Let's start from there first. |
ChoCho54:This seems the plausible explanation |
How many of the bandits were arrested or killed? |
...but the orders were either inadequate or yet to be delivered... This in itself is self indicting. Whose duty is it to ensure that the orders were adequate and expedite actions on delivery considering the precarious security situations of the country. |
So if labour agrees to the increment, then boom! What's the percentage of the workforce on the FG and State payroll compared to the multitude of masses that will feel the pangs of the increment. Surely they're testing the waters. |
These are possibly home grown bandits buoyed by FGs treatment of banditry with kid gloves. The fear all along is that other regions would likely key into this 'money spinning' venture and it won't be easy to exterminate. It happened in Lagos/Ogun yesterday, Benin today. Where's next? |
Yet Ogun says it has no refugee in Benin or anywhere. Admittance of a problem is the first step in solving it. |
Damn! So many people lost the battle. Early detection could be the saving grace. Regardless, she has had a good fight and I can only wish others in her shoes record such victory. |
This is of the reasons an average American will wake up and say 'God Bless America' with utmost sincerity. |
..and this is suicidal |
It's hard to disbelieve this man. Everything happening points in the direction of his outburst. The South appears to be encircled. Imagine how hard the govt came upon ESN and the swift in arresting the OPC members that dare arrest the alleged criminal warlord. |
I still don't want to believe Police and the government will want to be this brazenly partisan. I hope they aren't in any way trying to taunt his alleged victims. |
If Nigeria survives Buhari, it will take the next president rigorous effort to right the wrongs. |
Oh really. It'll be befitting to restore water back to the town, the last administration damaged the water pipes during road expansion. While at it, see to the seemingly abandoned road projects even at the heart of the town like the Adatan - Carwash road. ... and please be decisive in keeping criminal herders at bay. Those are important in making the town a worthy capital city. |
One of the dangers of not having the madam around. The children may have engaged in horseplay since the madam of the house in the rock has gone AWOL. Hope no one was injured. |
What does a high ranking Senator like Abaribe needs a deputy governorship seat for? |
There's nothing as dangerous as a figure head leader who appears to be deficient in cognition. All manners of actions will be taken in his name by some unscrupulous aides. Here we are! |
edo3:Everybody should do something. The corpse being prayed for in the pix above is obviously a Muslim about to be buried. Everyone should rise against these criminals irrespective of religious affiliation. May the departed find peace in the hereafter. May peace elude the criminals and their enablers for causing grieve to families and the nation at large |
Whoever got the contract for the new set of attire don follow chop too. In all of these, who will account for the life of the innocent kid slaughtered by the kidnappers? Karma will visit all of them in due course. |
Exactly what the terrorist wanted and how they wanted it. |
Imasai is in the Yewa axis of the state where herders are running amock and have sent some of the locals into IDPs in far away Benin Republic. Good one that an industry is coming up but the government has to first make the place secured for both the indigenes and investors. |
If only the South West has control over the Seme border and Lagos Port, this threat would have been meaningless. But as it is, a simple border closure again coupled with years of neglect of agriculture in that region will make them vulnerable to this threat from the North |
The VP has traditionally been the head of the economic team. I do not expect that such a serious policy will be unveiled without his input. |
Ok |
Say no more Mr. Mailafia. The whole world knows the truth except those playing the Ostrich. |
Truly there are two genders. Male and Female |
After jumping the first bail, Maina and his lawyer should ordinarily be morally ashamed to ask for a bail the second term. In the coming days, I won't be surprised if his team put up a more convincing case for bail and the judge soft pedals under immense pressure. |
