There's a thread on FP about a community in Onistha protesting against their community Primary school being under the lock and key of the Catholic Parish .

The Parish is claiming the school in question was ceded to them by Obi while the community is trying to reverse that travesty by stating the school was never a missionary school but was built from scratch by the state government as far back as in 1979 under the old Anambra state civilian adminstration.

I don't want to believe the handing of the government owned school to the Catholic Diocese of Anambra was done in error.

Rather I see this as both Obi's anti social policies of not investing in education and his religious fanatiscm to abuse his office towards enriching his Catholic church.

How can such an error be made by a whole state government ? And why will the Catholic church in Anambra accept what isn't theirs ?

In his bid to renounce public responsibility in providing education to the masses, Obi decided to hand over this particular known government owned institution to the Catholic church thereby having enough loot to divert to his portfolio.

Education is really a big deal to you lot. Lagos has 2 breweries, ibadan has, ogun has 2 breweries generating revenue. How many Ipp has ogun past givernors built? How many has oyo state built? Why haven't you told the ogun and oyo state government to chase away or sell the breweries and build power plants instead.

ANSG did not build Hero brewery they only have a stake in it. That same Hero brewery is also in PortHarcourt does it mean RVSG also built it? And BTW anyone criticizing brewery (factory) is actually a fool. Do you know how many jobs were created directly & indirectly by that brewery? I know of someone who got a contract to be distributing the beer with his trucks in PHC. I also know of a truck mechanic that also got a contract to be servicing the trucks of a particular contractor. Honestly only low IQ people will find a fault with this, and I am not even a Peter Obi fan

Why is it this foolish Reno keeps thinking Obi built a brewery? Obi did not build any brewery. SABmiller came to build a brewery in Anambra State and Obi bought millions worth of shares in the business on behalf of Anambra State

That is not the same as being the one who built the brewery, anyone could have bought shares in the business

Reno should know that for a state like Anambra, A brewery is more important than IPP.

Peter consulted with stakeholders before it was concluded that, a brewery will be more important than any IPP project.

Considering the less productive population of Anambra which accounts for over 90% of her total population, its was deducted that, IPP will do no good.
