PlanetZero: Obi and atiku should join hands again. If truly they want to unseat tinubu. Anything different from that...make una ego make una loose again
Atiku as president and obi as vice
Use their combine vote sent tinubu away. But if they contest separately...they will just spoilt vote and it will favour tinubu like last election
It is my own opinion void of sentiments. It is fact
“But if he insists that he wants to run and wants to become the president, as we are already seeing it playing out, his political ending may not be as palatable as he is thinking because right now, from his political family, he has lost substantial people, probably sixty to seventy per cent,” Bwala added. Obi’s alliance with Atiku would be a “mistake.”
Bwala also addressed the growing speculation about a possible alliance between Atiku and Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, warning that any such move could be politically disastrous for Obi.
He said, “And then the conversation with Peter Obi – Peter Obi will be making the biggest mistake of his life to now come together under the agreement that he will be a running mate because all of the people you are hearing ‘Obidient’ had only one contract with Peter Obi, that he will run for president.
“The minute Peter Obi drops the idea of running for president himself, I can guarantee you he will lose the majority of the people that are following him. This is without taking away the fact that Peter Obi himself may not be comfortable in that arrangement.”
Obi had previously served as Atiku’s running mate under the PDP in the 2019 general elections before launching his own presidential bid in 2023.

Arise TV has responded to the allegations of financial inducement by suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, as alleged by Dr. Sandra Duru, a US-based Nigerian media practitioner and psychologist also known as Prof. Mbeke.
Recall that Prof. Mgbeke accused Akpoti-Uduaghan of paying Arise TV for favourable coverage and hiring Dr Oby Ezekwesili and FIDA (International Federation of Women Lawyers) as “useful idiots” to disrupt a Senate committee hearing on her petition. She alleged Akpoti-Uduaghan sponsored the Arise TV awards and offered Duru an award, which she rejected, citing her value for integrity.
She further claimed Akpoti-Uduaghan targeted Akpabio to destabilise President Bola Tinubu’s administration, with promises of a governorship from opposition leaders.
“The target is not the Senate president but the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, because Natasha was promised to be made a governor by her so-called political fathers, whom she mentioned to me; I’ve mentioned to the authority,” Dr Sandra alleged.
Dr Duru claimed Akpoti-Uduaghan’s actions were part of a broader opposition strategy, supported by a political party leader she contacted but refused to name publicly.
She urged the Nigerian police to investigate Akpoti-Uduaghan, comparing her case to how they would handle activists like Sowore, and called for transparency.

A disturbing trend has emerged on social media surrounding Abba’s Heart Ministries, a prayer group known as Nebaoith on Instagram, which is suspected of luring individuals into a cult and encouraging them to cut ties with their families.
The group is reportedly founded by Joy Irokwe, also known as Joy Solomon, who has since deactivated her social media accounts and gone offline.
On Monday, fashion entrepreneur Nkechi Harry-Ngonadi, founder of NHN_Couture, raised the alarm about the ministry, linking it to the disappearance of Ejiro—CEO of the Instagram fashion brand StyleByEjiro, which has also been taken offline.

Alex Otti, Governor of Abia State said Not everyone must be in the APC; this is a democracy, and sometimes you must stand for something. I can't say I wouldn't leave the Labour Party; what if the party is non-existent tomorrow? As of now, we have fought for and retrieved the Labour Party; all Abure is doing is posturing.

alizma: One term presidency is a deception strategy except on one condition, that is Obi is the candidate. Anything that brings Atiku on board, forget it, he will go for the second term at all cost.
aswani: Even though this might work if it happened, the problem is due to age and being desperate, Atiku will want to go first.
Of course, considering how Bubu nearly betrayed President Tinubu over their agreement, Peter Obí will be extremely cautious in dealing with Atiku who destroyed the PDP zoning agreement.
I hope they cab work things out as we need a good unified opposition. We are were we are now as a country because PDP had no opposition avd looted the company dry, even embezzling borrowed monies.
zubinike: Some of you just open mouth as wide as the ocean to dive into peoples opinion carelessly, what sense have you made out my writings and what point have you proven? Understand peoples perceptions first before diving in
Former spokesperson for the Labour Party presidential campaign organisation, Kenneth Okonkwo, has noted that "coalition" would defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections by offering a one-term presidency.
"In 2023, there was an agreement for power to come to the South for 8 years and return to the North after. In 2027, we would come to the halfway point of this agreement. But with Tinubu being incomparably bad, a coalition must come together to bring in a President who will agree to do one term in office."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRU1seN5T4k Wike lambasted traditional rulers and other leaders of the state for taking sides with the suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara in the political battle.
He said that since the crisis, they had failed to reconcile the warring parties.
He condemned the new trend of deploying women to protest on the streets of Port Harcourt saying no amount of naked protests would restore the suspended elected officers.
He said the only thing that could bring peace to the state was a sincere reconciliation of both parties irrespective of their political leanings.
“I challenge any so called 90 years, 200 years, what effort since one month and one week has seen that there is total reconciliation in this state.
“No amount of going to television to abuse anybody will bring peace, because we have always said that those who thrive in crisis, when there is crisis they are happy, when there is no crisis there is no food on the table. Those people cannot be real elders.
“If you are sincere, everybody would have known. I told our leaders, yes, some people have tried to approach me I received them. I did not pursue them, but seeing me alone does not bring peace.
“There are critical stakeholders that must be involved in the process of this peace making. Nobody will be excluded. If any group will be excluded it means there is no total peace.
“Members of State Assembly and National Assembly must be involved. The two political parties must be involved, other leaders must be involved. In that way, we will now now that they are sincere in talking about peace.”
Wike asked his followers and loyalists especially the 27 members of the Assembly to rejoice over their victory at the Supreme Court.
He said: “One thing you must go home and jubilate is this, assembly maintained there seats and you are able to set aside that kangaroo election. If anybody says you are nobody, that person must have a mental problem. So, we need peace, but let it be to the total of sincerity.

“I can never politicize that. I am the one bearing the brunt and the pains and the sorrows of the IDPs in my state.
“The very respected Peter Obi was a Governor and if you are coming into someone’s state, there are protocols. A very high personality you are coming into someone’s state and you party does not even know you are coming and I the sitting Governor do not know you are coming and then you are going to where I’m protecting even most, the IDP camp. It’s my duty to protect them, they have been disbalanced and I need to protect them even some more.
“So I don’t know the intent you have. Is it not courteous enough just for me to know as a sitting Governor and even to provide more security to you and to prepare the mind of the IDPs.”
Governor Alia also denied claims by Obi that he couldn’t be reached, adding that if he couldn’t be reached directly, other senior members of his government could have been reached.
APC spokesman, Felix Morka has blamed Atiku Abubakar, former vice-president, for the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said Abubakar flouted the party’s constitution by running for president in 2023 despite a zoning arrangement that favoured the south.
“The problem in the PDP was Atiku’s obdurate refusal to abide by the convention of his own party and its constitution,” he said.
“He had no business running for that election when under their constitution, a southern candidate was mandated as, you know, under the rotational agreement to run.
“He was the one who created the problem. So it wasn’t his nomination. He himself was, you know, at the root of the problem that the PDP is facing today.”

Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Amb. Umar Damagum, while reacting to the defection expressed party’s disappointment, calling Oborevwori’s departure a painful loss.
However, Damagum reassured supporters that the PDP would quickly reclaim control of Delta’s political structure.
Damagum also made remarks on the national level, warning that while President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may have certain political strategies, he does not hold ultimate power over the 2027 elections.

Pickieox: Why are these people making Wike to be relevance? Are they deceiving him thereby making him to be riding on a high horse because I don't understand correlation or the working relationship between Wike and the present PDP?
