This is the reason Nigeria is not getting better.

The government are not holistic.

Once it favours you, you applaud them, but you forgot other parts of the country are in darkness.

Why not voice out for the whole country rather than just a particular area in a country?
RomanceRe: Parent Supporting Their Yahoo Children. It Is Right by Light78: 11:40am On Oct 24, 2023
Any parents who support his/her child or children to venture or do yahoo is setting up a future Karma for his or her child or children.

As a parent, if you do that, you can even support your kids to steal, kill, and do other harmful and heinous crimes since the love of money has taken over you.

You guys are just like your leaders. Always taking something serious as a joke or just for a laugh.

If you don't know a question, you can Google it and proffer an answer rather than disgracing yourself on a faceless forum.

Get your fact straight. Inside Tradefair is neat. It's the outside and along the road that got it sealed. Igbos are never dirty.

PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Lagos State Govt Has Finally Close Tradefair International Market by Light78: 3:43pm On Oct 22, 2023
The most organized and neatest market in Nigeria.

This ain't it.

After spending during the weekend, you go to work on Monday only to find out the market has been sealed.

Why are black wicked?

The country is fighting economic hardship, and you are increasing the sufferings.

I pity those boasting or bringing past happenings to suit the reason the market is closed.

People have been pushed to the wall so much.

mariovito:
Last days are a series of escathological events that'll herald the advent of messiah then the judgement day especially in the Abraham religions.

But I say they are all made up stories to keep adherents in check and also in fear which is one of the tools used in staying in business.

Without last days, no one will care about the three Abraham religions.
What about the prophecies that have been happening and more to come to pass?

Supported.

Teachers should be one of the highest paid workers in Nigeria.

And qualification as a Teacher should be one of the highest things to achieve in Nigeria as well.

It should be as rigorous as passing a Law Degree or Medicine.

That way, you will get quality Teachers who will dedicate their life and time to truly impact the young ones to help them develop.

Also, every form of non conventional form of education should be abolished at the basic level. All these Koranic Schools Or Islammiyya schools should be abolished and only meant for people who have finished secular Primary and Secondary Schools.

Same with any similar Christian school system.

That way, what children will first learn won’t be how to recite religious book and some religious indoctrination but the right mental development suitable for their overall development.

These are things the Lawmakers should look into as well.
You are supporting because you have not thought about the other side.

Price of goods and stuff will increase

Let me make it clear to you.

How about they pay teachers that amount, and a liter of Petro is sold for one thousand naira (1k)?

UnfairLife7:
if you have money you can never suffer. I have seen married ones suffering in their old age because their children doesn't have money. Why is Africa, Nigeria in particular poor today? Topping the ladder of poverty in the world? It is the mentality of people like you that put us where we're today

If you're planning to give birth so they can take care of you then it is not guaranteed unless you have money. You can never compare children in Nigeria to that of the developed world. Children over there has a secure future even if they were born in poor household unlike Nigeria. Some children actually wish to take care of their parents but they do not have. Some even have but chose to abandon their parents, reason best known to them.

Unless you have money to train those children very well and have your own money as a parents without depending on the children then you may be right. But you and i know very well that in Nigeria, people give birth basically because they want those children to be their retirement plan.

I'm in my 20s and historically, I'm yet to see anyone that doesn't have children and wasn't buried after death. I have seen someone who do not have a child but wasn't suffering at old age. I have seen someone with 7 children suffering at old age
I asked a simple question, you wrote a poem.

Week in, week out and still no job gotten yet. Borrowing to live has become my second name. All the driving interviews I have gone for this month, no call or any text...waste money unnecessarily on transport. My account is empty, house is also empty. Just have my data left. As soon as this data goes off, I am exchanging my phone for snipper. That's the end for me and this crazy world I find myself in. Wish every hustler out there the best.
You have brains. You have to swallow your pride to make it in life.

Tell yourself this if you want to succeed: I want to do something that I am always shy about doing or can't do because of my class.

Go to any place they are building a house and tell them you want a job or work.

You will start immediately, blend in with the workers, and see your life-changing.

A step is what you need.

PoliticsRe: See Photos From Kano Mass Wedding Ceremony (photos) by Light78: 9:14am On Oct 15, 2023
Nothing wrong with the mass wedding. Unlike the other tribes where their men are not married because they haven't made money to feed their community on their wedding day.

The thing holding some Igbo guys back from marriage is Money. It is not that they do have money, but feeding guests and friends on that day.

Why not pay her bride price, do a small traditional marriage, then a night church marriage?

With the little hustle you do, you can start taking responsibility and start from one kid.

If you don't have a brain, you will remain single for the rest of your life.

You should blame your government and president and not positive-minded businessmen or women.

The number one cause of death in War times is Hunger.

Many Nigerians think if war should happen in the country they will see food to buy and shops will open.

Once the war starts, no Food, communication, internet, transportation, information, no togetherness, massive destruction, sickness and diseases, famine, drought, no shade, massive restrictions, recession, and many more.

Do you guys still support the war?
HealthRe: Why Do Some Girls Hate Using Condom by Light78: 10:57am On Oct 11, 2023
aisha1314:
I'm a girl and I don't like using condoms. I know it's important for safe sex and disease prevention but I just prefer sex without a condom. When I tell some friends this, they immediately begin scolding me about putting my health at risk by being irresponsible about sex but I have a different opinion.
[font=Lucida Sans Unicode]I only have one sexual partner who's a long term boyfriend and (as far as I know) I'm his only partner too. We were both virgins when we met so there's little worry about having a disease from a previous partner. And to prevent pregnancy, I use the contraceptive pill which is even more effective than condoms.
I'm not saying everyone should just have unprotected sex without worry or concerns, it's about what you and your partner feel is right for you and your level of comfort with each other.

In your case, I think it's good you stood your ground and refused to have sex without protection though. If that's what makes you comfortable (which is wise I have to say) then you stick to it no matter what anyone else tells you.
I pity you.
PoliticsRe: Petrol Stations Shutting Down, Marketers Warn by Light78: 10:46am On Oct 11, 2023
Some people prefer their tribe men to be in leadership to someone capable and fit for the job.

That's the result of failure.

Once you know the right thing to do, and you decide to turn a blind eye, the result will be failure.
