oluwafreshkid: The Gambian electoral commission stated that there were irregularities in the concluded elections although these irregularities di not significantly affect the result of the polls. Now, this man is not forcing himself in power, he simply wants to plead his case in court. Simple. Gambia lacks high profile legal practitioners, they don't have supreme court judges so they rely on ecowas states to provide judges. This is why his case is still pend in in court. What about handing over first and thereafter pleading his case in the court rather than heating up their polity as obtained under every democracy. |

swtdrms: Shut Up! I say shut the mess Up...
Why do people like saying rubbish which they know nothing about?
Boko Haram as always been condemned right from its birth by Muslim Clerics. That was when the clerics were been assassinated.
Alot of Muslim clerics have been killed before BH started bombing places. So when you don't understand issues please keep mute If anybody at all should shut up, it is you. What the guy said is factually correct. Book haram at the beginning of their violent campaign bombed a Catholic church on Xmas day, bombed the famous nyanya park at Abuja suburb. Over 25 fully loaded vehicles heading to different southern states were burnt to ashes. Shortly after, they bombed sabon gari luxurious park at Kano. Over 10 fully loaded luxurious busses heading to Onitsha were burnt to ashes along with tgeir occupants. Total deaths from these attacks exceeded 1000. Please quote one Northern leader that condemned the attack. You can use Google search to confirm that no Northern leader spoke up against these attacks. The Northern elites were giving moral support to Boko Haram. Now what they meant for evil on the Christians has turned around to haunt them real big. You know what, terrorism is never defeated. It has come to stay. It is a pity. |

I see Christians happy, but when Muslims set a church on fire they will start crying freedom of worship.
Hypocrites
See the comment below mine...
R2des, where was your Jesus when Muslims burnt down churches
See why I don't pity Christians... They are guilty of what they castigate.
Where are our law enforcement agencies As usual. Hate filled blood sucker. You are gloating over Muslims burning churches asking where Jesus was. You do not think that your Boko Haram and the attendant 2 million starving refugees is enough payback. Oh you want fire to come down from heaven before you discern it? So sorry |

You are aware that it is only Muslims that are permitted to post on Islam threads on this forum. If you had any modicum of honour, you would have restrained yourself abinitio from making any post at all on a this thread, not to talk of blaspheming it or apologise. |

seunmsg: I really don't know what is wrong with most of you, common sense seems not to be your forth at all. A Bishop is owing his pastors for 18 months and I rightly suggested that they take their case to the holy spirit who oversees the Church, yet, your likes kept attacking me for no reason. Should I have suggested that they kill of harm the bishop when the bible says we should do his prophet no harm.
What if the holy spirit had instructed the bishop not to pay the pastors, is it not normal to ask the pastors to take their case first to the holy spirit for clarification? Are pastors supposed to protest or seek divine intervention in issues like this? I really don't get why you guys are attacking me. Oga you blasphemed the person of the Holy Spirit. There was nothing in the post that suggested that the bishop was instructed by anybody more the Holy spirit. I leave you to be Judged by God himself. However, even if you have anything cogent to say, you are the least qualified to do so. Not after blocking non-muslims from making any post on any Islamic thread unless they first convert to Islam. |

If this were an Islam related post, we will be required to first convert to Islam and profess muhammed as the only true prophehet before allowed to post. A supposedly enlightened folk like you should not blaspheme another's religion, the same offence a muslim is permitted to kill for. |

HopeAtHand: The Igbo political class, like i have always pointed out are worryingly tactless, and once again, have been exposed for their inadequacies.
IPOB, had done the job of drawing the attention of the FG and the Nigerian nation to the "perceived" neglect of the SE by the Nigerian govt. An economic summit was put in place and the PMB, as a show of goodwill decides to attend in person. It was expected that the Igbo leaders will reach out to IPOB leaders and come out with a united position for the development of the SE and milk whatever they can from the FG.
The FG already has put the 2nd Niger bridge into its budget for the coming years, the SE leaders and IPOB leadership should have drawn up and presented other critical infrastructures needed in place for economic development of SE. They fail to utilise opportunity and worse still, returned a good gesture with threats.
Obasanjo and GEJ, both southerners, have never been threatened by Northern groups and Northerners. I wonder why the Igbos just decided to take their hatred to new lows. That was supposed to be a security summit not economic. How can you be talking about presenting request for critical infrastructure for ibos in such a summit? The summit must have been put together to further humiliate the IBO's. |

Their supposedly better technocrats have so far failed woefully to stem the tide of mass emigration perpetually afflicting their region and make it the envy of the rest of the country, yet dem still no humble. These parasitic loudmouths still depend on other regions [especially the SW] for economic survival owing to the non-viability of their home region, yet they just can't help themselves when it comes to their signature delusional posturing. Pennywise: The NJC is at best undependable but in all likelihood complicit.
How can a judge so manifestly corrupt as this woman be told that even though we know that you are corrupt, keep your job but there will be no more promotion for you! Where in the world is that done?
It goes to show the kind of influence she wields over the NJC.
Secondly the CJN who also heads the NJC is either too old or too incompetent for the job to allow these kinds of disgraceful judgements.
The judiciary and not just the lawmakers are the agents perpetuating corruption and suffering in the land.
Nigerian youths should know that these are the main cause of their suffering and confront them rather than taking to robbery, kidnapping or dying like flies in the Mediterranean. My brother, I tire o. Just like telling the judges they could continue to pervert the course of justice and collect more bribes as long as they forfeit their promotions. Such a sweetheart punishment. |

Having taking this route myself, I know it takes great self sacrifice and shows her strength of character. I am very encouraged by Mr. Trump's words in his victory speech where he said "It is time for us to come together". This is true not only for America, it is also true for the world at large. Finally, I must say that the conduct of the American people during the election was most commendable, as they agreed to disagree and now they are agreeing to unite. They have my best wishes as they carry out this process and may God bless their efforts. GEJ.

Beamborla: Oh!
Except my comprehension skill is gradually detoriating. Babe didn't in any way say she wouldn't answer to her man. She said she won't marry a poor man... She earned the right to choose, miss.
...and no the creator didn't ask anyone to marry a poor man neither did it ask anyone to marry a rich man.
Didn't the creator instruct men to provide for their wives? Don't you think a poor man who can't provide basic needs comfortably for his wife shouldn't get married else he might be going against the instruction of the creator.
So stop bringing religious sentiment into this. Thanchuu! That religious 'sentiment' happens to be the sentiment of the author of marriage. The two are inseparable, aren't they? |

QuotaSystem: All the conspiracies of Fayose, FFK, and other disgruntled wailers are crashing right in front of their eyes as PMB and Tinubu mend fences for a more robust, united and winning alliance.
In fact I expect PMB to begin to reward Tinubu massively and empower him to be the undisputed emperor of the SW since that is what his people desire. With Fashola, Fayemi, Aregbesola, Dabiri, Ambode etc firmly behind the Jagaban, APC will simply effortlessly sweep the polls again with Buhari's unshakeable support in the North.
More heartache for wailers as the winning alliance is reinvigorated And you sincerely think it will work? There is never a genuine reconciliation in politics. Buhari is trying to mend fences because it suits him for now perhaps with 2019 in view. The truth remains that he and the cabal hate Tinubu and will not mind killing him politically at the most appropriate time. Time shall tell! |
