Nothing gives me immense joy like the ban of worthless Keke, Gokada, Opay and all hopeless Okadas on Lagos roads. I was around Ogba today and I saw task force packing hundreds of keke. I was so happy.

This means with the ban of Gokada, Opay and other hopeless ehailers, more money for Uber and Bolt drivers. This also implies more free and sane roads all over Lagos so that you will complete more trips on time.

It is my warmest prayers to God to make the governor to start burning there keke and Okada. I careless. Zero Pity at all.

When Keke, Gokada, Opay and hopeless wheel barrow pushers where busy causing traffic, hitting other road users with reckless abandon, scratching cars with no pity, taking one ways, creating multiple lanes that cause untold traffic, disobeying every traffic law... Did they pity anybody? They didnt know others were seeking bread for there family too like them abi?

Now as they have been banned with full effect from February 1st, I pray the governor be ruthless and savage on them. No pity at all.

If they want, let hunger kill them and there family... I careless. Infact, let them pack out of lagos because they are hopelessly useless and wicked. They were a pain in the neck of other road users without recourse to how they felt. If am the governor, once they seize your keke or okada... Burning straight.

More Trips for Uber Bolt drivers, More money for them and there family. Death to all reckless Danfo, Keke, Okada, Opay, Gokada etc that have ever endangered the live of any person in Lagos either by driving one way or stopping suddenly in the middle of the road to pick a rider for a hopeless 50 Naira.

God bless disciplined drivers and God bless Sanwo Olu too for filling all potholes in Lagos major roads.

hello nairalanders, I helped a friend in buying the jamb epin online but after one week and two days, no pin. I called and sent emails and we got to a conclusion two days ago that I would be refunded. yesterday, I went to the jamb centre to get another pin which I did. then boom I got an email from interswitch with a new pin that was generated just hours ago. I am confused as I do not know if I could resell the pin. please how do I go about it?

Interswitch/Quickteller is rubbish, they experience lots of failed transactions.... Remita is the best for me.

On Friday, I took my younger brother to an approved centre to do his registration. Due to my research online, I discovered that the total cost should not go beyond N5000, i.e. N3500 for the form, N500 for the literature books and N700 for the centre.

Getting there, I was shocked to see that the centre was charging people N9000 because according to them, it is 'late registration'.

How do i go about reporting them?

This is clearly a case of fraud, report to a police station and the station will request that his bank freeze his account, he'll get arrested whenever he enters his bank to lodge a complaint.

100cents = 1 dollar.

Let x represent the number of 50cent coins
Let y represent the number of 1 dollar (100cent) coins
Total coins = 36
x + y = 36............................ equation (1)
Total value of coins = $26.50
$26.50 = 26 dollars + 0.50 dollar
Convert$ 26.50 to cent = 26.50dollars * 100cents = 2650cents

100x + 50y = 2650 total value of 1 dollar coins plus 50 cent coins…............ equation (2)
Using elimination method multiple equation (1) by 100

100x + 100y = 3600...................... equation (3)

equation (3) minus equation (1)

Taking it term by term from both equations (3) and (1)

For x:
100x - 100x = 0

For y:
100y - 50y = 50y

For the constant terms on the Right Hand Side of both equations:

3600 - 2650 = 950

Therefore 50y = 950

Divide both sides by 50 to get y

(50y/50) = (950/50)
y = 19

The number of 1 dollar coins is 19

Plug 19 into equation (I) to get x:

x + 19 = 36

Subtract 19 from both sides of the equals sign to get x,

x + 19 - 19 = 36 - 19 NB: +19 - 19 = 0

x = 17

Nice job you did there Sir, but you made a mistake while drafting out equation (2). According to you, x=50cents and y=100cents=1dollar. But you represented 50cents with y in eqn(2) and 100cents with x meanwhile it should have been the other way round.

I made my research to go for a low-tuition school cos I didn't want to stress my parents. I'm a lasuite by the way and my tuition is 25,000 a year.

Next time cut your coat according to your cloth, I had to forfeit my admission to KPoly the previous year to gaining admission to LASU cos I knew the tuition was too much for me (85k then).

My Advice? Re-Write UTME and go for a low-tuition school... God be with you.
