Thanks so much for ur encouragements.....if I say so, does it imply dat am referring to visitor visa which in the real sense of it i dont want to go as a visitor. and asking for a month or 2 will it not mean unnecessary expenses as in going to spend 2 months now and applying again next yr...just my thoughts. But thanks so much my sister for ur contributions.

I think you should just look for a means to go there first either through visitors visa or the other. When you’re in it’s easier to find your way around. My thoughts tho. Just relax for a month to think straight and come up with solutions. All the best.

Just received a visa Refusal Notification 2 days ago. I have been trying to put my self together n calm my wife down. While I think on the next step . but it's really devastating ...becos I see no reason for my refusal. It's heart breaking ...but I know God has a purpose n He knows d best. I applied for a spouse visa on the 11th Oct 2017. To join my wife who's a post graduate student of Nursing in Ausy. Dis a snapshot of part of the refusal email where d stated dia reasons :::

Yes. Getting into geology in Australia is quite hard, you must have geology experience and it’s tasmania that does pure geology Adelaide does petroleum geology. If you can get in fine then later you switch.

Will the success rate be fair if one should apply coming from a Non-IT background?

I studied geology too. But I’m going for environmental science �, expect you have years of experience in the said field. But let’s hear from others.

When in december did u apply, i applied on the 15th and did biometrics 17th was asked for medicals 18th.. status says under processing time

I did medicals last year, applied 17th and did biometrics in the 19th.

I submitted everything that was requested for this my appeal and I was still rejected. On same grounds. Submitted land properties , bank statement, both for me and my dad and sponsorship letter yet they refused me. Why?

Guess it’s a rejection then cos I was called by the delivery service.

So I was called this morning that they have replied my appeal. Dunno what the reply will be.

Did anyone apply nov/dec? They seem to be attending to mostly people from July.

A school accepted me. When you tell them what they want.

I was told embassy will penalize them (cash wise) and they ain’t ready to pay that’s why it comes back with rejection

I got so many rejections and learnt my lesson. Just look for another school in case it comes out negative

Good day guys. Pls I'm new on here. I recently applied to Victoria university. When I was applying, i was asked if I have been denied visa by any country. I ticked yes and it asked me to upload a refusal letter from the country and I didn't have the refusal letter anymore so I ticked no instead. But the truth is I've been denied by the U.S. I have submitted the application. I do not intend lying to the immigration or embassy when I apply for the visa tho. Do you think the school would send this information to the embassy before I apply for the visa? Pls whats your advice? Thanks in advance guys

From my own experience I was denied admission when they knew I was denied. And they said it was based on GTE grounds. And why they ask is cos if they know they don’t want the embassy to penalize them so I was told from an agent from a school. My advice do was best for your future but be sincere where you have to be.

So I just saw on Facebook that Pretoria has closed and will be opened January 2nd. So Merry Christmas everyone. ����

I graduated with a bsc in electrical and electronic engineering in 2009...no work experience. For 7 years I have been working to deploy and develop business software hence the reason I applied for msc in computing and innovation.

Most times GTE issues are course related, so maybe you check another course. Plus the gap from studies can also affect it. #myownthougts
