it's been awhile ma'am, how's ur son? I read ur son is 9m; mine is 15m+ now. I thought AF had finally resumed when I bled last month(Dec 19th) for 3 days like my normal flow. But then I bled again this month but only for 1day(6th Jan) CD19. My cycle length used to be 24/25days but now it's CD32 n no AF again, yet HPT isn't showing +ve. Jst cramping on n off. Thought everything wld return to normal as soon as I wean but now I dnt understand anything any more. I weaned my son abt 2wks ago.I'm starting to worry if smthing is wrong ; dnt know if my cycle is messed up. I'm jst waiting as I dnt even know what to do nxt n I hope my wait yields a positive result.

To God be the glory I delivered on the 13th September after 10years of waiting.

I just want to share my testimony to encourage someone who is going through stress in life or marriage, you are not alone. But don't give up.

I got married in 2006 at the age of 20yrs and since then nothing. In fact my in-laws said that I have destroyed my womb with abortion and lot more.

Out of desperation, i started buying all manner of baby things and at the end of the day I gave them out, I started charity works, birthdays at the orphanage etc

By January I missed my period went for test and it came out positive after years of humiliation. My sisters na so. Could have gotten everything I needed then but I said let me wait till I know the sex but before I knew the sex things were no longer as they were. 38wks I never buy anything. But I will always tell my dh don't worry the sacrifices of my past will always speak.

On the 7th I was paid 1 month in my place of work out of six months, dh got some cash. Hmmm I bought everything I needed in one day. We also kept for hospital.

Labour is a different story. Because my bags were not packed, I wasn't exercising so that the baby won't come. So I had a deep cut cos I dilated only 2cm but my cervix was open. So many things but God took control.

My baby came on hubby's birthday.

Motherhood is a whole different and lovely experience. Lord am grateful to you.

She said she noticed the baby was no longer moving then went to the hospital only to be told the baby was died.

One medical explanation I know, irrespective of the time in the pregnancy that the death happens, is blood clotting disorders. She prolly should test to see if she's positive for antiphospholipid antibodies to help diagnose the syndrome. Then maybe get on serious blood thinners (not just baby aspirin) for subsequent pregnancies and stay on them until she gives birth. Basically, these cause blood clots in the placenta at any stage, cutting the babe's supply of oxygen, proteins and all. I don't know a lot of Naija women who complain of recurrent missed miscarriages, that bother to test for this APS thingy and even auto-immune disorders. Most just go on to try again, and leave the health of their babes to fate. Perhaps, it's their docs that do not know how to attempt the issue.

That is exactly what happens to this woman, this is her fifth.

I need answers too....My mum's tenant have had 3 of such experience. She births the babies already dead from the womb. Someone said her womb secretes hot fluids that kills the babies but she is yet to seek medical explanation/solution.

It's really very painful . I felt for her this morning. How I wish I can be of help.

I also know someone like that. Lost 2 @nine months. She has 2 now but had them brought out my elective CS @ 35wks. In her case they said placental insufficiency.
So may be ur neighbour can consider bringing out earlier in subsequent preg. Very painful, may God give her one that will stay. She should be prayerful too.
