Good morning mamas, my baby(12weeks) has been stooling for the past one week. i am giving her flagyl, zinc and ors but no improvment pls what again should i do?

i dey oh, work no gree me oh. Its not easy. Senior mamas una dey try.

Iyabetajos, your story brought me to this thread to comment for the first time cos my wish was to comment to announce bfp when God remembers me. I have been a silent follower of ttc & this thread before I registerd 2 weeks ago and I followed ur story and was so elated about Andre's birth.
I cried and prayed to God concerning you last night, andre's demise touched me so deeply like he was my little nephew. But there's an assurance that when we pass through tribulations God's grace is always sufficient to carry us through.
All I can say is that God almighty, the all knowing God knows best and I TRUST He will do exceeding abundantly above you can think and imagine. I am yet to get my miracle bfp but I TRUST God so much that He will do the best at His time, and he will do same for us all. Be consoled and remember lioha's story as well; she's a mother of a beautiful son now.
Be consoled also that you have proved the fact that you are fruitful and can carry to term regardless of the many miscarriages you have endured.
May God comfort you, bless you, keep you.
I await your next bfp and when your great Samuel or John will be born.

Thanks for the advice. I dey drink water well oh. In a day, I say finish bag of pure water. I go improve for bathing cos na just twice I dey bath in a day .

Out of the goodness of my heart sha......water.
Water.....bath regularly....as in even if its just to shower like 6 times daily. And drink lots of water.
Drinking water flushes your system and dilutes whatever is in there.
After birth, all the water you retained in pregnancy is lost via wee and sweat ( mostly sweat), add dat to the sweat from heat. You dont want that sticking to your skin all day. Also leaking boobies can make bm stick on your skin.
Get a soothing / medicated shower gel and shower, shower, shower. Since you are home all day, you may want to go easy on lotions and creams too.
After 3 days, if it persists, then see your Dr.

Ah so no be only me dis carpel tunnel they disturb. To carry baby na war.

Abeg make una answer me. Postnatal get anything to do with rashes and boil? The thing the show me shege.

My sisters, I see Oba yesterday oh. Carpal's tunnel showed me shege... I couldn't lift my phone to type at all... I just dump my phone for one corner, dey look am. All the bandage wey I use no just help at all, instead it was making my hand swell... It is well with me oh...

Good morning mamas, pls is it normal to still see blood 27 days after delivery. Comes out more when i eat the hot pepper soup mum prepares. Am becoming uncomfortable .

Take ferrus 1tab, 3times daily and folic acid 1tab, once daily, you Will get a good result.

Thank God my prenancy progressed with little or no problem. When I got to 22weeks , fear of the unknown engulfed me but God saw me thru.

At 37 weeks and 5days 22/3/16 trace of protein was found on my urine. I was asked to stay on admission which i declined and reported to my e- family. I was tongue lashed and given few lashes of koboko (Chiwendym). I went back on the 24/3/16 and did the text I was asked to do except for one called OGTT because there was no doctor to mix the glucose for me.

On saturday 26/3/16 which is my antenatal day in the private hospital, i still went and the trace of protein had disappeared but my BP was on the high side 150/90. The doctor said he will not allow me go into Labour with such BP that I should come for an elective cs on the 28th March 2016. I was hell scared and immediately called my husband who came to the hospital immediately and we both went inn to see the doctor. The doctor succeeded in convincing my husband. Told him how important and precious the baby is but i was not convinced at all. Pls don't blame me because Chiwendym birth story still scares me up till date. Couple with the fact we had similar case.

We went to ask how much the whole procedure will cost and we were told N400k. My husband said no problem in as much as the baby and I are alive. We both came to a conclusion that I will have the Cs done on easter Monday. When i got home my mind was not at rest because i know private hospitals has a way of extorting money from patients. Immediately i called kaffy and told her and she asked me to come to Luth ASAP if I can. I parked few of my baby things and hanlele i was on my way to Luth. My husband asked me to wait till the next day because it was already late(some mins passed 7pm) i said no.

Madam why are you here? Asked the nurse i met at the labour ward. My BP is rising I said. How did you know she asked again, in a private hospital i answered. I was admitted and my vitals taken still my BP was high 150/100. Madam who came with you asked the doctor that came to see me, no body i answered. You mean no one came with you the doctor repeated. My husband will come in the morning i replied. I didnt ask my husband to come because i was thinking that once i get there, they will find a way to bring down my BP and that's all. The time was now 11:30pm. You have to call somebody to come because we are placing you on drugs and somebody has to buy them.

Since you are due at 38 weeks and 3days we have to ripen your cervix and get you induced. No problem I said. My husband came some minutes passed 12am and bought all the drugs prescribed. Seems the doctor slept off because no one came to fix the catheter that night only for them to come in the morning to ask why I did not buy the drugs. They are on the table i answered. The catheter was fixed on easter Sunday at about 7am.

After one hour i was 3cm dialated and my BP was 160/80 still high. Kaffy came that morning to see me. She gave me all the encouragement there was. After discussing with the nurse and doctors she came Back and told me that if at the end of the day the doctors opt for cs, that I should accept. Then i knew something was wrong and prayed for the will of God to be done. As soon as she left, the doctors and nurses came inn and one of them told me point blank that I should sign for a CS. That there is a possibility of going into crisis if am allowed to have a virginal delivery with the rate my BP was going. They had the catheter removed.

My husband signed all the necessary documents While we waited for them to be ready. At 8pm they were still waiting for blood from the blood bank. I was wheeled into the theater at about 8:15pm. Still very scared, i memorized psalm repeatedly " Even though I walk through the shadow of death, I fear no evil because I know my God is with me"

I was given a painless injection at the back and not up to 5mins, i started feeling numbness at my feet then to my thighs. Still wondering what's next, the doctor asked for a blade. Blade!!! While am still awake? I was hell scared while still memorizing psalm. I knew when the doctor cut me open but i didn't feel any pain. Could this be real? I imagined. 45 Minutes later at exactly 9pm easter sunday I heard the cry of my baby boy weighing 3.65kg. Me a mother! I cried Tears of joy. Madam are you feeling any pain? No! I answered. Why are you crying? Tear of joy answered one of the nurses. They showed my baby to me. What's the sex? asked the nurse. A boy! I answered and gave my baby a kiss.

If this is what cs is all about, i will do it again and again in as much as my baby and I are safe. It was painless. The next day I stold up, cleaned my self up, walked to the door. My husband asked shocked. If I didn't show or tell you it was CS, you will never know. We paid less than 100k for the procedure.
