Believe me, the fools are many, |
Fair enough, but how do the poor people know how to defferentiate between the two? Most of these pastors a well polished conmen, and you know such conmen are crowd pullers. |
Yes. human beings have turned it into business. And this is a curse. |
There is nothing wrong with religion. Indeed, most of our laws are based on religion. What is wrong is how we use religion. Our intepretation of religion shows clearly that we do not understand it, or we deliberately exploit for our own ends. |
Let us not blame mother nature. If you were born a girl, just be happy. You have a certain role in society, just like a man |
Look at it this way. These new churches advertise on TV and Radio and ask you to send some money. They even give you the telephone numbers or account numbers. Mainstream churches do not. These new churches claim to perform miracles on TV all the time, main stream churches do not. These new pastors drive in posh cars and live in big houses and always have bodyguards but our mainstream churches do not. Infact they live amongst us every day and share our problems. These new churches are full of flashy people, but our mainstream churches have just poor people. This reminds me, when Jesus went to the wilderness for 40 days, Lucifer went to him, showed him all the wealth of the world, and promised Jesus, all the wealth if only Jesus worshipped him once. We know who these new priests worship |
There is this song, which Beyonce has come up with, with her wishing she was a boy, or something to that affect. I don't know what she has against boys, but I feel that in some cases she is being unfair to the boys. We love and hurt too. And there are many positive things about us. No, Beyonce should not tell us what to do. It's the girls who need the lecture. |
I am beginning to wonder whether African players have a future in the new Chelsea line-up. Since Mourinho left the club, there has been a gradual decline of African players in the line-up. We are usually told they are injured or something, but this can cover up a lot of things. At one time you could say Chelsea was an African team, with Essien, Drogba, etc. but do we see this line up now? I think it's time for African players to leave Chelsea now and go to Inter Milan. That is where they belong |
Actually Princess, what happens is that the host country gets the most awards. If it is held in Zimbabwe, Zimbabweans will get the most awards. |
Now you are talking Adam Brody. They refuse to listen to me |
Rap and hip hop in Yoruba, or Fulani, or Igbo,or Kimasai,or even Wollof? |
So what else is new? |
Okay |
You be the judge |
Don't want to hear the truth? |
Something I never told you. My father was a musician. I was too but changed my profession. My brother still is. as is a nephew. So I know something about music |
Sawa |
Accept my apologies Debosky |
I apologise |
Debosky, I do speak in my mother tongue, but you would not understand. But I am a broadcaster of many years and I use Kiswahili. I also do a lot of writing in Kiswahili, which you do not understand. But if you do, I will be happy to communicate with you in that language. Au wasemaje? You can see something I wrote about Kiswahili at brosamson.tripod.com. I am for Africanism, and very proud of it. But it does not mean I have to go backwards to be that way. I look forward. By the way, when you use the word tank, just remember it's origin is Kiswahili. The original word was tangi tangi. And I am not joking |
No problem Ajayi. Since your name implys you come from the Delta State, yoiu are a wise man. |
Princess, I havee been a broadcaster for many years, and I use Kiswahili all the time on Radio. Besides, I am from the coast wher we speak Kiswahili all the time. By the way, yiou may wish to go to brosamson.tripod.com. You will find I have said something in favour of Kiswahili. That has been there for along time now. I am considered a Swahili expert on these shore and I wriote Swahili poetry. Uipenda nitakufundisha. Kiswahili ni lugha ya mapenzi |
Hi Princess. You will be welcome any time, and I will happily be your host. Not all of us are happy with Obama, because we know his family background. Would he have been elected if he was in Kenya? Ha! MERRY CHRISTMAS. AND SORRY FOR BEING IMPOLITE AND RUDE TO YOU. lADIES MUST BE TREATED IN A DIFFERENT WAY, AND I TREATED YOU BADLY. Pole sana na unisamehe. |
I may rub Nigerians the wrong way sometimes, but what I like is their sense of humour. Thanks for making me laugh so much. There is very little to laugh about in our world. AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL |
It's good when musicians are recognised for their talents. But we should still look for inspiraton from Africa, not foreign countries. This has nothing to do with wearing skins. |
Debosky, you embarrass me. Please go back to school and learn some more Geography. Kenya is not in South Africa. Such ignorance?! Amazing. |
Ahsante Princess kwa maoni yako. Naamini wewe na mimi tutakuwa marafiki wema, na nakukaribisha wakati wo wote. That Kiswahili is the best you can have from anyone anywhere. I have used it as a broadcaster. Hope you understand it, or ask someone to translate for you. There are some Nigerians who speak the language. And that include my brother-in-law called Richard Alawaye. Unfortunately for you, he is in the US of A right now. Lo Lote utakalo nitakupa wakati wo wote. Je umeolewa? |
Ther are a lot of things that I like about Nigeria. I have been there and enjoyed a lot. Have you been to Kenya, Princess. You could learn a lot and change even more. How I wish Fela Kuti was alive, |
What sports? how many medals did 9ja get at the Olympics? And we have sent our musicians to Kora among others and always win something. It is also known that when the event is held in a certain country, most of the winners come from that country. And anyway, what is so special about pretending to be an American, and ending up doing a bad job of it? shame on you |
