Bede2u: Lol, of course it's entirely weird to have more northerners in Lagos than in Anambra. BTW, how many northerners live in Ibadan compared to Lagos? I doubt you have been to Ibadan....there is a very huge northern population there,I would say on same scale has igbos |

agadez007: Isn’t it the Same thing everywhere in Nigeria, even in Almighty Lagos you can speak English in some streets in Mushin,Ikorodu,Fadeyi e.t.c and Many people there can not reply you back in English That's not what he means,90% of places in Lagos you can easily find an Igbo person also other tribes. |

EmperorCaesar: Number 1 is correct. Sometimes, i used to wonder if their morning starts by 11am Number 16 is quite true too
Just read through. You couldnt have said it better.
As for the population of Northerners in Anambra, I guess it says more about the region than the Northerners themselves. Aside Deltans(linked by state boundaries), its very very very hard to see non-Igbos in Anambra(excluding Onitsha). You could just walk into anywhere and speak igbo and most times, 100% of those there are Igbos
Why compare them tho? Even Abuja is a bit laid back in terms of business timing compared to Lagos. Drivers in Onitsha are Crazy. Onitsha sleeps early compared to Lagos 9pm could be like 2am over there....nightlife is very rare same as Benin compared to Owerri or asaba. There are also lots of Yoruba mechanics in Onitsha. |

Xisnin: The "working" refineries are Buhari's legacy and not Tinubu. So, I don't see how Awolowo and MKO comes into the picture. The IBB bridge in Lagos was started by obj in 1976 but was completed by babangida but who remembers started it.....tinubu could have easily cancelled the contract to issue another one just as yar adua and GEJ did with obj's NIPP. |

If Nigeria manages to fall into the hands of an Anti- western government, just like Niger, Chad and the others have fallen, mark my words, that would be the end of Neocolonialism and Western imperialism in West Africa. And that is also when people will begin to understand that all these useless terrorist groups are backed by the west because they'll be dealt with very, very, quickly. You only ended up confusing us on thoughts. |

1nice: Tinubu is a certified failure!!
The price of fuel, kerosene, diesel, gas, food commodities and transportation have been increased, thereby causing hardship to Nigerians.
Bola Tinubu has forcefully taken the presidency that was meant for the south eastern part of Nigeria in the 2023 general presidential election: no wonder tinubu was boasting it is his turn to become president of Nigeria even if Nigerians do not vote for him.
South eastern people will ensure they also forcefully take back the presidency from tinubu this year or tinubu will be impeached: south easterners must get justice this year 2025 wether yorubas like it or not. Your delusion will lead you to your doom..... everyone knows subsidy has been removed and the naira also devalued which is normal for prices of things to go up were you expecting indomie to still be 50 naira a piece with dollar at 1,700 when you don't produce any wheat in the country. People now only use petrol for productive purposes and not frivolous things like gallivanting all over the place claiming big man with cheap subsidised fuel.... nobody is telling you not to do big man but govt won't be paying for that fuel you are using anymore. Presidency meant for SE,the joke is on you.....no region in this country has ever felt so entitled in such manner as you have ignorantly displayed.....if the SE wants it,you have to work for it. |

hakeemhakeem: President Bola Tinubu to Governors: You are the most important link to Nigeria's development and prosperity Always said it to their faces when the opportunity come We keep telling those dumb obidients.....the govs are the ones who could help alleviate the economic hardship we are experiencing only if they would sit down and work....... tinubu is doing a good job in stabilising the macro economic outlook of the country it's only at the micro level that's still not being felt by the masses but they both work together and the govs have a pivotal role to play.....instead of them to ask what are their govs doing they keep pointing to tinubu like he is supposed to come from Abuja to stop the touts in Onitsha or build mass transportation infrastructure in PH to ease the effect of subsidy removal or cultivate the vast arable land in Jigawa to aid food security or provide affordable health care for mama Idris that wants to give birth in ikire or provide free education for chinedu in agulu when their govs are collecting huge allocations and doing nothing. |

Afrojuju2017: Road networks are not just for the individuals resident in that state but also for individuals transiting through, also for a state where the governor is targeting mechanised agriculture and transporting the produce raw and processed out towards the areas of Nigeria and beyond, you'll need road and rail networks to do that. It would be difficult for Niger state to expand standard gauge/narrow rail without federal gov however they can build their road network without delay. I have not disputed what you have said but I did be glad if it were possible to let us have the details and scope of this road.....what I am saying is that 200km is no joke and you are talking 6 lanes.....that's longer than Abuja to Kaduna.....how many 6 lane roads do you have in Lagos the most populated city in Nigeria and what's the total Kms..........what's the population of Minna and how many motorists are in that place, yes roads are an essential component for development but that info posted by the Niger state govt cannot be true.....even suleja to Minna is being quoted at about 100km same as Minna to bida and they are just being dualised. |

ProblemChild1: Have you been to minna before. No I haven't but Kano with all it's huge population still comes after ibadan has the largest city.....the last I checked Minna isn't the most populated state capital in Nigeria.....might be big in land mass but not all can be developed.....200km exceeds Abuja to Kaduna which isn't even 6 lanes yet despite being a major highway.....now explain to me how Minna can justify having 6 lanes of that distance.....it's either a typo or the govt is down right lying.....marumbi to rafitashi is just 18km. |

Catalysttt: Minna has a total land area of 6,789 square kilometres, while anambra as a whole is 4,844 square kilometers.... Niger State as a whole is about 74000 square kilometers What's the population of Minna and how much of that space you quoted is developed to warrant 200km of 6 lanes, that's like Abuja to Kaduna. |
