Obaofaba: Bring back our náírà, no reason can explain why cefa should be stronger than náírà.
Nigeria is the economic hub of the African continent and by every reasonable standard should have the best currency. It's CFA and not cefa.....if you can't even get the spelling right how do you want to get your facts right...CFA is backed by the euro with a central reserve tied to France.. |

G0Oodharddick: Obi won the entire south except osun and few Yoruba places.
I am telling you a Southerner will continue from tinubu in 2027 and you're talking about the north taking over. Break-up is the way of peace Obi won SE and not the entire south, pls stop making up fallacies......the same reason you want your obi to take over from tinubu is same reason others don't want him.....you keep screaming break up just because it's mathematically impossible for your obi to win with your style of politics.....if you want a break up,no need for obi or any S easterner to contest.....stick to your Biafra or nothing nzogbu nzogbu!! |

G0Oodharddick: Why are you triggered by the comment?
Since the north doesn't want the South to continue in 2027 and of course obviously not tinubu but gej or Obi from the south, then the country should split up!
Or are you northerners afraid of living alone as usual? Your comments reeks of narrow minded bias like the entire south belongs to Obi's region. |

G0Oodharddick: kwankwso should build from Kano.
He should stop deputizing obi. It's an insult to the SE. Obi is a million times way higher than him politically.
Atiku with over 7m votes haven't talked about deputizing obi with 6.8m votes, it's now kwankwso with just 1m vote. Lol kwankwso and pride The dynamics in 2027 would be different and holds different aces for both the north and the south. |

Who be kwankwso wey get just 1m vote in just Kano State only? Tinubu had only Lagos in 2003 and built on from there |

YouAreNobody: They pretend like they're not afraid of a merger of the opponents but the truth is that if Obi, Atiku and Kwankwaso merge, it's over for Tinubu. How would such merger be formed.....obi deputising atiku or atiku deputising obi or kwankwanso deputising obi or vice versa.....the egos of those 3 can never allow them successfully oppose tinubu......tinubu is a better ally to both kwankwanso and atiku than they are to each other and obi cannot be trusted by the north to do just a single term.....that's the quagmire they have found themselves...... tinubu won't loose sleep over their preposterous macabre dance |

emkz: What exactly is the grouse between Kwankeaso and Atiku?
Kwankwaso doesn't allow Atiku drink water drop cup before denying him at every turn.
When ACN, CPC, new PDP and ANPP merged, Buhari, Tinubu, Kwankwaso, Rochas, and Akande were committed. Atiku was the least committed after losing out on the APC presidential ticket. Kwankwaso delivered.
Kwankwaso defeated Atiku in the APC presidential primaries held in Onikan Stadium in 2014 by 20 votes.
In the formation of APC, several persons made sacrifices even when they lost out.
We have only one question for the one who has been contesting since 1992: who has he ever sacrificed for? His chance was in 2003 when he would have successfully thrown obj to the cleaners during the PDP primaries he peddled a lot of influence in the party then but he thought it wise not to undo his boss.....he is still by far the most influential VP after idiagbon. His second chance would have been 2019 if he had supported GEJ to see out a second term by which power would have naturally returned to the North and he would have been in poll position to niche it and Buhari most likely would never have happened but he was too much in a hurry by scuttling GEJ in 2015 and going back to same PDP he ditched....this has negatively tainted his ambition and portrays him as over ambitious. |

ddippset: Jeez 150k?
That's just a bag of rice oohh
You are so funny,, you sound like 150k is 1,5 million...
Yes we all know that too much money in circulation is bad, and that's what countries with minimum wage of 3,000 dollars always talk about but not this miserly 150k na.. Countries with 3,000 dollars minimum wage are talking about too much money in circulation you too with 70k, you are talking!.
Haba Bros! 😄😄😄😄
Funny guy...
Why not kuku even reduce the minimum wage to 10k so that there won't be "too much money" in circulation.
😄😄 You need to match liquidity with production.....those guys you talking about produce far more than they consume and even export. With your analogy of a bag of 150k being just a bag of rice if the entire masses have 150k all at same time and goes to the market to go buy same bag of rice, you have pushed up demand without commensurate upswing in production and the seller would take advantage of the situation by selling to whoever is willing to pay more. Take ehailing has an example, when there is high demand for cabs but there are fewer cabs, there would be a surge in prices and a normal trip that should be 3k could go as high as 6k.....it's simple law of demand and supply. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Has Been Steadfast In Addressing Security Issues In Plateau - Mutfwang by Lithiumite: 4:43am On Dec 31, 2024 |
DeLaRue: Anyone that understands politics will know that this visit was not just about security.
I'll bet that this is more about tax reform.
Mr Tinubu will ensure that he secures the full support of the Governors of Plateau, Benue, Kwara, and one or 2 other middle belt states.
Once he locks in the support of the majority of Senators and House of Rep members in those States, and add at least one Senator each from Kogi and Kaduna, the tax bills will pass.
Despite the vociferous push back from Bornu's Governor, I would expect the vice president to deliver the vote of at least the APC Senator representing his constituency in Bornu, even if the VP is privately against the tax bills. Anything short of that will reflect badly on him in the eye of the President.
If the Senator and HOR members from Mr Ganduje's constituency are from the APC, he too would be expected to deliver their votes, whether or not he likes the tax bills.
There are also several legislators from the far North who will vote for the bills especially if the President makes some concessions in one or two areas.
Virtually all Southern Senators and House of Rep members will vote for the bills.
I suspect the desperate threats from Bauchi state Governor reflects a realisation by some Northern leaders that they will not have the votes in the House of Rep and the Senate to block the bills. There are govs in the core north that would support tinubu on this tax bill,Sokoto,Kano, zamfara and Kaduna are very certain.....Borno would be left with no choice,Taraba and Adamawa would want to bargain their post 2027 survival.....forget all that noise from Bala Mohammed all his rants are all about 2027 and trying to hold on to some bargaining chip......did you read up on how nassarawa gov openly recanted his earlier opposition to the tax bill and acceded to the fact that many northern govs would support the bill. |

Using online lapdogs to spread lies won’t make sane Nigerians forget the truth. It's obvious no single political party can take down Tinubu on their own, given his mastery and history of electoral fraud. But with a merge? He will be defeated. All the cabals in Buhari govt and people from a particular region and religion all combined against him but he still defeated them all when he didn't have the power how much easier would it now be for him to defeat them again.....you people really underestimate that guy,I thinks that's rather foolish of anyone. |

TheFreshVanilla: Northern Christians are not dumb. A university alone won't secure widespread support for APC if it doesn't translate into real solutions for the daily challenges people face in that part of the country. Should other parties merge, Apc is gone. Nigerian politics is based purely on sentiments.....the more developed a place is the more secured it gets....a university in southern Kaduna is a big boost to that part of Kaduna state and that can whip up a lot of support from the people there and by extension northern xtians in nassarawa, plateau,Benue which are a core voting block that supported obi in the last elections. Tinubu would get gar more votes than he got the last time from the SE and SS in 2027......take that to the bank. |
