From traveling round the world .. to yacht in billions .. private air bus .. Cadillac matters .

Haba!

Nigeria money sweet to spend .. and flex

God help Nigerians

That’s all
Which yatch did he buy from you, which private airbus, which belongs to the federal republic of Nigeria.....so you expect the president of a country as big and strategic as Nigeria to be travelling on commercial flights also why don't you find buyers for the 3 other airplanes in the presidential fleet which has long been put up for sale......cardillacs!! So a president of the most populous black nation should be riding korope just to boost your incredulous bias towards anyone better than you.

Is this really necessary at this point in this country
I was born a Christian but this attempt to grant private airstrips to private individuals is absolutely unacceptable..... everyone would then start applying for one and this Can pose huge existential threath to the peace and security of this nation.....it's a no no!!

The analysis doesnt touch the pressing issues. How many businesses will stay afloat if they start paying just equivalent of $500/month of minimum wage?
Even govt may have to sack over 80% of the visibly idle civil servants they employ.
The informal sectors are largely manual driven and largely unprepared for the kind of productivity that will sustain even $500 minimum wage. We are still doing theoritical manipulation and have not started yet.
He even failed to juxtapose the state of Georgia's annual budget alone compared to that of Nigeria's and the population as well.....if he did,his arguments would be falling flat on its face.

The budget for the state of Georgia is about $36b as against Nigeria's $28b for 2025 for a population of over 200m as against 11m people in the state of Georgia.

Ndume is right, deputy senate president cannot be waiting for half of senate to deliberate on an important thing like the Tax bill.
Stop using nonsense to justify more nonsense.
And dont assume everybody has a tribe or religious bias.....Thats delusional.
The section 1.b. of the house standing rules the senate leader came under made the DSP 's actions in order.

States rich in agriculture will suffer from this. Here's how it will affect them negatively, there's currently no taxes on agricultural products as government intends to boost food supply. So such states will be giving away the only thing they can boast of freely while others will be able to tax their own.

At the end,I pray Nigeria wins because right now, it's as if if we block one part, more areas open up
Citizens in developed countries pay more taxes than we do but they live better standards than we that don't pay taxes do......these reforms will engender more productivity and people will need to work to earn their keep..... states you mentioned with vast agrarian potentials can now start working on agric processing and large scale industrialisation thereby creating value and employment.

Ndume did not clash with the FIRS Chairman, this caption is vilifying him.

He is telling the deputy senate president to stop sneaking very important items on the itnerary of te senate last minute.

It looks likes the deputy senate president, adds important stuff to senate hearing last minute, knowing fully well not all the senators are present.

This is a common trick and fraud perpetrated by the senate. When they have something controversial to vote or pass, they do it behind the senators that will oppose.

Ndume being a seasoned senator knows all these tricks and is telling the deputy senate president to let other senators know ahead of time the magnitude of what he wants to add as a supplementary item to the list.

I FULLY SUPPORT SENATOR NDUME ON THIS ISSUE.
But when saraki was elected SP while senators who would oppose him were absent, you were happy!!

In has much there was a quorum in the house anything the DSP did was in order and section 1b. the senate leader came under made his actions very much in order.

Who cares about her celebrity lifestyle with no impact on society.... showing off her advantage for being able to Japanese abroad which of course anyone can afford but those other ones not making noise and showing off wouldn't insult our sensibilities by informing us even when they fart.

Subsidy fraud: who are the fraudsters, why not arrest them. So the solution to a bad tooth is to uproot all the teeth

Borrowing? Have you stopped borrowing? Have tinub borrowed less than buhari borrowed in 1year?
Ok the one tinubu is borrowing, what has he done with it

Oil sector deregulation? Am sorry for you, you just spoke like a layman. Oya go and enter the oil business na.
Even the almighty America hasn't been able to stop narcotics entering their country and smuggling as a whole.....Europe hasn't been able to fully curb illegal migration despite their sophisticated systems.....no cousin the world has been able to stamp out corruption and Nigeria is no exception.....as you are jailing the kingpins, new once will always take their place so far the cookie jar is still there but take out the cookie jar entirely and block access to it,the fraud will stop and this is what tinubu has done.

Borrowing isn't a bad thing in itself,it's what you use it for that's the problem....no economy in the world can survive without borrowing and Nigeria alone has been running a budget deficit for decades thereby needing to borrow to cover the short fall.

What deregulation of the oil and gas sector means is that govt isn't getting involved in the business anymore and has left it to market forces to determine the value.

You need to wake up.

If we are paying more for fuel now than we were paying during the subsidy regime it means one thing..

A shift in the people chopping the money. Simple!

It means Tinubu has removed the loot from the subsidy cabal to another cabal.

Wake up.
The key thing you should take cognisance of is that we are becoming a net exporter of refined petrol there by earning more foreign exchange for the country and this will positively impact your balance of trade and your currency.....the naira is just finding its real value as it had always been subsidised inbthe past to the benefit of a few.

WHY THIS COUNTRY CAN HARDLY EVER WORK.

SYCOPHANCY IS TOO MUCH!

A LITTLE POSITION SOMEONE GETS, HE STARTS PRAISING THE GOVERNMENT SO AS TO GET CONTRACTS AND OTHER THINGS.

WHY ARE YOU PRAISING TINUBU SO EARLY WHEN PETROL PRICE HASN'T EASED?

THE SAME QUESTION I'M ASKING HIM IS ALSO DIRECTED TO THEIR NAIRALAND-BASED COUNTERPARTS. WHY ARE WE THIS SELFISH AND FOOLISH IN THIS COUNTRY?

THIS IS HOW WE MAKE OUR LEADERS FEEL THAT ALL IS WELL WHEN NOTHING IS OK.

TINUBU GOVERNMENT HAS LIED TO US TOO MANY TIMES. SO, WE CAN'T BELIEVE HIM SO EARLY. ALL WE WANT TO SEE IS THE IMPACT OF ALL THESE THINGS ON THE COMMONERS ON THE STREET.

If you own any business or plan to have, you can't afford not to watch this video.
It's not tinubu's fault you cannot afford to buy fuel at it's current price.....every supporter of the erstwhile dysfunctional subsidy regime is an enemy of Nigeria.

People have already adjusted and our energy is being directed to more productive activities.

People no longer gallivant all over the place for any unproductive reason just because they were having cheap fuel subsidised and the subsidy being stolen by the rich in return.

Farmers are happier now that they are getting good value for their produce because they have been neglected for so long by selling cheap to middlemen and city dwellers who feed fat on their sweat.

No rent seeking anymore and you have to earn your keep.....if you are to poor to afford petrol ask for help on how you can stay above water.

It's inevitable that fuel prices would go up,it's not tinubu's fault.....Nigerian economy couldn't sustain the subsidy on petrol and Forex....the economy was bleeding real bad.

Human trafficking. It might not be possible to go the shorter route however, there's a trans African route already mapped out where the borders are porous.

You would get to Morocco easily through Senegal to Mauritania and then western Sahara.....the other route is through mali which is still closer than Niger.

This asslicker always makes me laugh. Will Hezbollah man the borders before? Wasn't the borders manned by UNIFIL and the LAF before? Trying to force a victory where there is none.

The LAF is only returning to where it was before. It's the official Armed Forces of Lebanon and basically returning to its duties of manning the country's borders and policing the country.

And btw, the LAF is a weak-ass army no one rates. 60k strong army that couldn't protect her country's borders. Experts in announcing its own causalities by calling its soldiers who died from Genocidaire Israel aggression martrys. Martyrs of Cowardice.
The LAF and IDF with some UN peace keepers would do the job and set up a kind of demilitarised zone.

Politics isn't always a straight line,1+1 isn't always 2!! A lot of multi faceted latent factors go to determine outcomes in Nigeria's elections.
OBJ in 99 didn't get the support of SW but by 03 they came out for him overwhelmingly.....in 2011 GEJ against all permutations got the support of the SW against tinubu's party and candidate-ribadu also the north have him sufficient votes for him to scale through but in
2015 he didn't get same kind of ground swell
support.

By 2023 who would have thought tinubu despite all the challenges would scale through.....what I am driving at is that the opposition just as in pre 2015 doesn't have the strength and cohesion to grab power.....Nigeria is still a highly aristocratic society where leaders have huge influence on the electorates as they are not ideologically sophisticated enough exercise their voting power and those leaders are majorly willing dealers for their interests.
