Same instrument of the state were used to acquiring state assets. Can you pls kindly highlight the truth in your post? |

Mjshexy: Oh really, then they should work together and load the the filling stations directly so we can boycott those wicked marketers who keep feeding fat on the suffering of Nigerians, this Country has the tendency to have things go well but evil saboteurs do not want it to be so How many MRS's do you have also it's not that straightforward... They all know the game they are playing and all already know the outcome... They only want you to get used to the 800 to 900 naira pump price which is their desired target price......you SE fuel going as high as 1,200 to 1,300 in some places.....so if he sells at 800 naira you will hail him as a hero......it's all games my brother,i just advise you to hustle hard to always be ahead. |

Saao: if I were you just keep quiet. Minister of petroleum controlled nnpc, his office is in nnpc towers Abuja, the current minister of petroleum is Tinubu. Did you read the other details before u talked of renaming? Tinubu used court and nnpc to transfer the ownership to OVH and legally effect same changes in cac, same method in lagos. If DSS comes to get you now and changed you for acts capable of breaching public peace and criminal defamation, you will start crying. Is it that comprehension is so difficult despite being in basic English even the media house that brought the false news that tinubu and oando has bought NNPC retail has already retracted and set the records straight but you are still running about like a headless chicken with your false narrative. |

Mjshexy: I have always said it that the marketers are the evil cabals holding this country hostage, they enjoy how expensive the price of pms and diesel are today, they never want these prices to drop, how can people be so heartless. If dangote decides to sell pms at 400 today, those evil marketers will gang up to destroy the refinery, such satanic gang of clowns. I wish dangote can have his own filling stations across Nigeria so that Nigerians can be buying directly from dangote filling stations MRS belongs to his brother. |

Jostoman: If youths come out to protest now they will say they want to distabilize their government.
Very wicked government, they can not create Job for their citizens but they will like to destroy and frustrate those that are struggling to survive with small business. Let me tell you my friend.....every country that has been successful today depends on tax to provide good governance......there is no easy soft approach to get to the better Nigeria we all seek except we are responsive to our civic responsibilities as citizens. When you pay tax you can hold the govt responsible for any misgovernance, take a look at Kenya, the people had the power to protest and the govt had to listen because it is a majorly tax driven economy.....if the govt depends on your tax to survive, they would ensure you or your business is productive enough to keep being able to pay those taxes by providing you social amenities and better life for the citizenry. But here in Nigeria the govt doesn't care about you because your taxes are too meagre for them to rely on compared to crude oil which they have absolute control over and the people also don't care about the govt because they have no real stake in the country. |

Dalohad: Nigeria should start thinking about pulling out their monies from the bank and doing business cash-only.
20 years ago, these greedy buffoons were always lamenting that 85% of Nigeria are unbanked, as they do not have bank accounts, never knew they were only lamenting so that they can get their hands on people's money.
Fast forward to today, they are frustrating bank account owners with all manners of levies, fees and charges....enriching themselves only....Criminals.
Pull your funds out and stop feeding their greedy.. So we go back to the era of armed robbers, even cash handling isn't cheap.....tell me one proper country in the world that still manifestly depend on cash transactions. |

This is the end result.
She ABANDONED an infant for 8 solid hours. That's an UNIMAGINABLE level of cruelty. That poor baby died of TORTURE.
He'd first go thirsty. He'd go hungry. He'd get overheated. He'd get painful sores for being in one place for an extended period of time.
All because the lady CANNOT afford the cost of childcare by herself. If she had the baby with a responsible man who was in the picture, BOTH of them would have pooled their resources together to pay for a babysitter.
Or they might be on alternative shifts so one of them could look after the baby while the other goes to work.
By the way, I don't understand why a CHILD KILLER who tried to abscond only got a MEAGRE sentence of 3 years.
This woman KILLED a person. She should die in prison. Take it easy!! Chief justice of the world.....she wasn't charged for murder neither was she charged for manslaughter..... Go read the article again and carefully, you would see what she is being charged for....... |

Pluto33: The narratives here is not completely true. Administration of Go won enjoyed a period of boom and stable oil price regime. Before the second coming of OBJ, Abacha once revealed to Nigerians that the landing cost of refined petrol was 9 naira but motorists will pay 11 naira (2 naira extra) because he was dismantling the highway toll gates. If OBJ implemented a fuel subsidy regime as a stopgap approach to the teething problem of fuel supply it was done in the interest of citizens. What we have today is a situation where NNPCL under the protection of public service/ Cabals use our crude oil to TRADE with Nigerian citizens. ARE FUEL CABALS FACELESS ?
##Copied How are the scenarios different......price has always been determined by international markets and the value of our naira has kept on depreciating ever since. Why should govt pay for fuel you use to drive yourself to your work,to your church,to parties and several other unproductive endeavours we do? During Gowon and obj era we had functional refineries but that's no more and we have to depend on imports which would automatically balloon fuel prices......who pays for that, many who want this subsidy don't pay any taxes to govt and you expect same govt to be responsible for your oil guzzling appetite......all our industries run on diesel which has been unsubsidized ever since without any furore. |

Passionnn: Tinubu and his hoards of errand boys have been running Lagos state as if it's his private estate since 1999 when he dubiously grabbed power. Sycophants claim he built Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria. Yet whenever it rains it's a tale of woe and unprecedented suffering. Similarly as former governor of Bornu, Shettima did not do anything to tackle the perennial flood in the area. Now he's shamelessly wading across the flooded town . A clear case of two incompetent opportunists running Nigeria to its doom. What did obi do to tackle erosion control which still persists till this day.....if Anambra were to be located where Lagos is.....it would have been Atlantis by now. |
Politics › Re: Flood: Tinubu Directs Shettima To Visit Maiduguri by Lithiumite: 7:43am On Sep 11, 2024 |
Vadese1: Agreed subsidy must go. But a reasonable and a well ready government would have plans ahead before removing subsidy. A think able government should have done everything possible to put the refineries in order before taking any decisions otherwise. Tinubu wasn't ready for government. He only came to register his name as one time nigeria president and to reverse nigeria backward. The dangote project is what? A chemist shop!! Refineries that several govts have all failed to put back in shape since abacha. The issue I am angry with tinubu over is that he should have opened up the borders while going on with his subsidy removal to ameliorate the high food prices the citizens are facing......the subsidy removal and Forex market unification policy were very difficult policies to implement and has very high negative impact directly on the citizens. The problem is the state govts are doing nothing to cushion the effects of hardship they are doing nothing in agriculture, nothing in providing cheap transport infrastructure to the people such as cng buses and electric vehicles, nothing came of the palliatives that were shared to each state, increase funding in health care and education so people won't have to rely on privates who would also be feeling the economic pains thereby increasing the cost of their services adding more strain on the people's finances. State govts are also guilty and everything isnt tinubu. |

I repeat he is not doing it because he love the people, He is only doing it for cheap political scores in advance bargained for 2027 votes. Tinubu economic failures has done far worse to Nigerians than the flood in maduguri. People are dieing on daily basic as a result of unthinkable economic. Tinubu is heartless. What should he have done differently? The VP is from that state and a former gov at that and he has come out to further buttress the harmonious relationship between him and his boss and he has proven his loyalty and also sympathising with the people.
