A proper economy must have its currency at a stable band,whether high, whether loe isn't the issue...... when this administration came, the rates were changing almost on a bi weekly basis that it got as high as 1,700 and no one knew what the rates will be the following day.

1,388 per dollar might seem like expensive to you but exporters will have a leverage because nigerian goods would be more attractive to foreign buyers,a weaker naira against a stronger CFA franc will make nigerian cocoa or cashew more attractive thereby earning the country more forex,same for finished goods.

A stable currency brings investor confidence,which will drive FDI and keep it within the system for more predictable returns.

You do not travel and in most cases not at night......robbers dont usually shoot sporadically because tbey usually have limited ammo and can only get a fully stopped car or scared assailant, a moving car still has a 50% chance.......i have seen them on sagamu ijebu ode at night just after the 3 bridges inward ososa......he practically jumped out pointing the gun and asking me to stop,whether it was a real one or not,I cared less,I only throttled down on reverse to get away at a distance I was able to make a u turn,1 shot was fired but I wasn't hit......about 2 weeks later I saw on the news that some armed robbers were killed around that same spot by soldiers.

Also very good and properly inflated tires will run those nails but they usually use heavy logs and not these tiny sticks where the option of advancing is usually impossible except heavy duty trucks.....they actually want you to stop so they can pin you there but a moving car us also a dangerous and uncertain scenario to them too.

I have done it severally on lagos benin road ,I can count upto 5 times and I have always gotten out......I don't know how but I always did.

Everything you narrated here, is almost impossible at this juncture. Not even when you are driving at night, how did you want to make quick turn without you being caught, if those who put that traps there still much around?

Is it logical to wait for truck at dead of night in the bush, when you don't know when the next truck would pass?

I said take a reverse immediately, not many drivers are good at reversing at high speeds as for the pic you sent,the road is wide enough a quick u turn except its a truck or a big van,which truck can drive through effortlessly..

Thats the problem with the cars we all buy in the name of tokunbo cars,buying a car is beyond engine or gear quality, the shinny aesthetics and beautiful conture......tge under carriage is also as important for thorough inspection.....any dents,cracks or rusts especially the rear camber area,screws,bolts,joints all must be checked.......especially Canada cars due to excessive snow which corrodes the under carriage adversely.

This thing almost killed me in 2018,tokunbo Toyota Corolla, silver colour, clean and sharp barely driven for 3 months.......I was going on cruising speed about 80 to a 100km which is what I do all the time...... sagamu benin exp way just before ofosu,we were 3 guys in the vehicle,it was a wet day......all i heard was a little bum sound immediately car seemed to be struggling with me the driver, started swerving right,left before hitting the road median......the entire front and tyres damaged, gear box,radiator,condenser all gone,we initially thought it was a tyre blow out not knowing it was the camber at the rear that broke due to excessive rust......no life lost or injured but car was badly damaged that I had to sell after repairs covered by leadway insurance, though the money took a while to come........ofosu police station DCO,nah God go punish that man after all my ordeal he still heartlessly asked me to pay 30k for police report to tender to the insurance company(just to pick up a 200 naira pen and write a 1 and 1/4 page report)......any where wey he dey make God help me whip am.

That road has been under construction coming from Benin during Buhari time. Though it is a good thing that Tinubu continued with the construction of the road, but I don't see anything big in it that u guys are now shouting up and down about it.

Gej actually started it from ramat park to bypass,standard 3 lane dual carriageway still functional today about the best road in benin also the okene- lokoja end to auchi completed during gej ,that road didn't have much going beyond throughout the buhari era except upto ehor and all else the road was known for was banditry and kidnappings also several accidents due to being a narrow single carriage with a lot of heavy duty traffic and mass passenger vehicular movement .

If this govt seeks to complete it,that is something praise worthy,Gej also blew his trumpet.

Obidients!! Nah road we go chop.....tinubu is abandoning old roads and wasting money building new ones......

This road will reverse travel time from benin to auchi back to 50 mins to 1 hour,I dont know what the update is on okpella stretch that had always been a never ending sore tale ,if that end is now fixed and smoothens all the way to lokoja on ward abuja......then you should be able to do benin to abuja round trip same day.

Also we should also recall that this road just recently used to be a hotbed for bandits and kidnapping but all that is no more!!

But why not do same for renewable energy equipments for the electricity sector........govt should help down the prices of alternative energy equipments to help ameliorate the electricity challenges on the masses........this will be of far greater impact than this one on transportation.
