Sisters, my heart is broken. Maybe I should just withdraw from ds journey and try to forget about it. Was reading ds evening and discovered that dexacortin a drug commonly prescribed by chemists for weight gain can cause infertility. I seriously abused this drug as a teenager cos I was tired of hearing pple call me "kpelenge". Both family friends and neighbours would not let me rest. One even told me that "if he did not know dt I am a true daughter of the house he would hv said am d househelp". Belive me I abused this drug for about 4 yrs or more, just so pple will stop talking and when dy told me my cheeks look rosy I was glad d drug was working. Sisters, what do I do now? I dream of an LO dt is an exact replica of my hubby wt all his antics and I wonder... Is this hope lost to me?

Am confused and tired! Now I have the shape they all wanted but no child to call my own. Isn't this life unfair? Now *they* r talking about me being childless?

sub_zidi: As per Servant Victor, i called him and he prayed for me the same format was also used. I felt since it was just an ordinary prayer in the name of Christ then no fear! My worry was when he asked to put my hands on my chest while standing then pray thus: Dear God i'm sorry for all the sins i've committed, knowingly and unknowingly.If you have forgiven me lord, move me backwards by fire by force....haaa this pattern of prayer did not go downd so well with me as i know it is not in line with my biblical conviction. I started getting negative vibes in my spirit and i had to stop.

I dn't doubt u my Sis, hence my admonition was "BE CAREFUL". While I hv no opinion as to whether he is a true man of God or not and agree dt whr a pastor does not say come 2 my church, take my acct no or bring so, it is easy to agree dt he is a man of God, but sometimes I believe dt a person can act with a long term motive in mind. U remember those pple who tell u that u will definitely hv ur kids in 9 months? Recently, another person approached my hubby and I began 2 undstand y my friend has still not "put to bed". To entrap me, dy told me it cost just 150k, but sometimes when d person is already "pregnant" like my friend, dy'll say there is a special drug u must get and dt dy will hv to refer u somewhere for it and it cost 3.5mill. One woman in my area carried d "pregnancy" for 3 yrs while her husband wrote letters soliciting help everywhere. He even met me to solicit for help b4 I realised dt it was for ds "runs"

So, dn't mind me (am a skeptic)but d motive may be long term. Loyalty, building a followership. God does give freely and satan at a price but satan makes d price look attractive and so futuristic it is negligible so be careful. Investigate properly b4 getting involved. From my story earlier about d yoke being broken u'll see dt I also believe dt TTC is more spiritual dn physical. Should I get my BFP 2mrw, I doubt dt I can tell d story of my journey so far. I see dt gist brings u gals out so let me add my 2 pence worth. Tuesday last week, 9.30am I received a call frm BIL dt d wife he married in nmarch last year just gave birth to a bouncing baby Boy! Quick thought! Should I be happy or sad? Quick decision: Be blissful! I immediately left office, picked up MIL from her shop and went shopping for mother and child. I moved to pick up mother and child from d nursing home to their house and on getting there helped them home.I drove home dancing and singing cos even though it was not me dt gave birth, d yoke had been broken. Ds is d first grandchild in my hubby's family. Though ds is my 6th year of marriage I hv a SIL who is counting abt 13yrs. Even my neighbours wondered y I came home blarring my music, singing and dancing. I chose to be happy about it and I am.

On another note, quarrels! I ha d a terrible one wt DH last week and it was strange cos we rarely do so and it was over me burning food. . I told myself d devil is a liar, it was O time, I quietly went over thrashed d issue and told him dt is not d kind of marriage I asked God for. I promised to change and he did likewise. I thereafter went shopping and bought myself, nonestick pots(as if food no dey burn for non-stick pots) and things hv been cool since.

She said if I pay 150k I can hv my baby in 9 months and if I want twins I shd also specify and dt I will give birth in d womans clinic and will hv 2 go for checkup once everymonth and if am too busy to go once everymonth I can go once in 3 months and d woman will alwys give me d drugs to last for d period in btw check ups. She said d Lady dt just did d dedication is regretting now dt she did not just ask for twins dt it would hv been better for her.

Am stating ds so u dn't take ours and on d basis of dt BD on d wrong day. Maybe u shd try one of the different methods of determining ovulation. I personally use a fertility monitor.

Also when he wrote PID, POD, I believe dt, dt is a note to investigate those 2 conditions. PID I know POD-

On d issue of staph, I think someone spoke about it earlier, it is difficult to cure becos it keeps changing so d secret is to cure and test continously so dt when it changes and bcomes resistant to a particular drug, then u also change to d new drug it is sensitive to.

I think knowing what early 2ww symptoms are is one of the worst things a person going thru ttc needs. I used to visit one countdown to pregnancy site and those days I was like a psycho. I even sometimes felt a baby KICK in my tommy, during the 2WW!!! My dears, no be small thing.

I also told God that I will have a stress free pregnancy. The only symptoms of pregnancy that I will have is BIGI BELE! Then maybe all the good symptoms like the glow.

btw, I have been absent here cos I have not had much going on. Did the cd21 hormone test yesterday. I am yet to get the results of all my tests including HSG. My doctor sef is not in a hurry. He told me to come back next wed. And af is supposed to be due then. I am just happy cos he will just help me confirm my pregnancy sharply! No home test. Btw home test kit is also one not-so-good things a person ttc needs. The money I used to but Hpts, I for use am dey buy baby things.

Pls dn't be dejected. Dejection is one of the tools of the devil's trade. He uses it to undermine our faith in the sureness of God's promises to us. Rembr dt when we ask God we should ask in faith believing dt he has granted and he grants. The fact dt u knew about d fibroid in dec I presume by a scan shows dt d PID wasn't there in dec. I think PID is most dangerous when it stays long in d system undetected. I think it is easy to treat too cos when I was diagnosed of same some yrs ago, a course of injections over 3 days did d trick for me and I hv never seen it again.
Pls whenever u r diagnosed of anytin, dn't fret because a problem known is a problem half solved. Imagine going for tests for yrs and hearing dt u and DH r perfectly fine and there is nuttin to treat? How would u feel as d yrs roll by with no change? Take heart Dear.

@Mzora, I hv been using fertilaid ds month. Hv not finished one bottle yet so can't really talk about its efficacy. It was not prescribed for me. I just read d reviews and decided I am gonna try it particularly as it is supposedly a supplement.

The devil is a liar. Pls do not give up even if u get a BFN from d test which I agree u shd take. A blood test. I read somewhr dt a woman did not get a BFP till she was 6 months gone. Do ur test but irrespective of d result, reaffirm ur faith and dn't take any drugs dt may harm our ibeji Oº°˚˚°ºh.

Particularly if ur circle is normally a lot longer dn d 2 days u saw it.

Amen oh!Thank u very very much, my pple. I need all d mouth i can get to sing his praises and i AM INDEED fruitful. At Gods appointed time those who said will look at me in amazement and wonder at the workings of Jehovah Almighty. I will carry my John, Isaac, Samson, Anslem and Annabel et al to their wonderment and dy will hv no choice but to stand, wonder and bless God in acknowledgement of his miracles in my life. That is all the more reason that i know i dn't want a fake. I picture Anslem looking exactly like DH, and hv been telling him to be as wonderful as his dad while Annabel looks even more beautiful dn i am.

Actually, the only problem i hv so far is that i hv not yet resolved the issue of how dy can be identical while one looks like me and d other like DH
