A thorough breed parliamentarian he was.A distinguished legislator and an experienced motion mover. My pple(The Urhobo Nation) has lost a future. His eight year tenure as Deputy Speaker(not speaker) of Delta State House of Assembly was remarkable and eventful. His contributions at debate sessions were usually robust and well researched.I mourn wit my mum and the good people of Ughelli South this painful death.

Congratulation to you.

We are Business Advicer and counsellor.

Since you are undergoing Masters Degree for now, you need to concentrate on your studies now. If you invest in any business that you can not supervise yourself or you put a member of your family to act for you, "You are on your own", all is "story..story once upon a time...".

Please face your study now and keep the money in fixed deposit with First Bank of Nigeria for at least 1 year, you will be given 5% interest or more. Don't look for other banks that might want to give you 9-15% interest on your fixed account, such bank may close down before you know, your money have gone, to recover it NDDC takes many years before Court case end to pay deposit only without interest.

So be wise, if you know you have time to other business with your studies, do not choose a business that you can not supervise yourself.

Benefit of Fix deposit of 5 million is that you will gain 250,000 at the end of the year.
Your monthly gain is 20,000.

If your father do not leave any money for you when he dies, are you not going to survive ?

Keep it at Fixed deposit as forum had earlier said, till the time you finish your course you would have come up with something you can do and you will face it squarely.

A business man must have vision, purpose, determination, finance, patience, focus and plan before a success could be achieved.

Americas_man: either do a treasury bill or fixed deposit. Dont rush just think over it while the cash is been fixed. And this is the time you should be the most conservative in your life. And dont let any body know you have such cash not your uncle, aunt or girl friend.
Very informative and well said. Many thanks.

PoliticsRe: FG Takes $1.1Bn Loan From China For 3 Projects by LKO(m): 12:45pm On Sep 13, 2012
HNosegbe: Though 2.5% is not a bad rate of interest (assuming there are no hidden charges) and there's a moratorium of 7 years, I still have doubts.

1. Is there any form of quality assurance testing on the materials to be used for the rail project?

2. Who will manage the rails and the airports once work is completed?

3. How do we know the money won't be diverted to somewhere else, or that the projects won't suffer cost overruns?

4. How do we know the projects won't end up on the long list of failing/abandoned projects?

5. Is it a government that cannot account for how much oil we produce that can manage foreign debt?

Until questions like these are answered satisfactorily, I remain skeptical.
I admire ur line of thinking. Very constructive and well researched.

Olaolufred: He would have made the least easily If He did steal the money,
The system in nigeria does not believe in Honesty. As a meatter of truth, our system persecutes truth and enthrones lies and fraud.
Go through the list, you will find that 80% of the nominee are those who drained this nation dry.

Sam Milla: Very good. Only that many things are clear.

She is brilliant.
She is from a rich or upper middle class family.
She does not live in Nigeria.

The above factors and many more works against many people who are far more brilliant. I am saying all that because we shouldnt sing so much of her praises.

I wish her goodluck though.
Very well said my dear brother.
