I changed d gearbox just dis February n spending like 100k. Since last week after a cold start in d monin d gear will not engage immediately (it takes about 10 seconds before it wud engage after I pull d gear lever to drive n it slips again several times before I can drive d car). But I notice d gear engages immdiately n normally after d engine is hot. Pls help me. Thanks.

Dis car has been ma first toyota and am deeply concerned because av gone tru alot with dis car. A couple of months ago I had to cut d cranshaft and was told I needed to buy a new gearbox. I did that dis February but 3 weeks after installing the new gear box I noticed d gearbox does not select well after initial engine startup in the monin and after driving for a while the check engine symbol in the dashboard blinks and stops after a while and blinks again intermitently. Please what I need ur help to know what is wrong.

Am in Abuja and am renting a shop for my wife's hair salon can u also design the interior.

Dis comprehensive health check is gud. I work in an oil company and was mandated to go for a comprehensive health check recently. To my amazement I had gained over 25kg n ma cholesterol level was beyond normal. Imagine if not for dis I wud not av known dat I needed to control ma cholesterol level. Av now been advised by d docs to do some exercise n reduce intake of junk food. I for just die leave oil money imagine.

@ Tadeus I have followed u for a while n intended contacting u when buying my car but I feel ur estimate for a 2007 vw passat landing in Lagos for 1.8m with full options (and I guess wit good mileage,genuine custom papers, not accidented n gud mtce history) is kinda too conservative. Am just deeply concerned cos I feel ure a honest person n expect u to make realistic estimates for intending buyers. Tk you.

Pls anyone with info about how much it costs. Ma mechanic in Abuja who I discovered has been giving me outragous prices for parts told me its 75k and am wondering if it costs dat much. Ma colleague bot a nissan quest 2000 model ridiculously cheap 3 yrs ago n had to sell it off when it gave her incessant problems upto d point she cud not get a gear box replacement. Av seen online reviews on the 2004 nissan quest and am impressed even considering how affordable it is compared to toyota's Sienna. Pls I want to ask how reliable it is on our naija roads especially from those who av used, are using or know people who are using d van. Also, considering it is not widely used like d Sienna. Tanks av experienced broken cds but long ago but dis tyme its kinda strange. To notice a problem wit d cd when thrusting in n wen I immediately pulled out, I saw a hole near d top of d cd where ma dickhead tried to pop out but cud u imagine she said she did not notice. Av also, perused many online forums but all of dem point to d fact dat wit d limited exposure n alacrity of withdrawal, my risks are quite very very low. I belive all ur advice should be taken and al take dem.
