why must the shiites stone a fulani COAS u think the fulanis take shit like others? this is why we need to support their grazing bill so violence can end. dont mess with the fulanis
Abeg stop mentioning me, u are a lost course. We got nothing to discuss.
EzeNri: ****GEJ was stoned in the North and nothing happened, T.A Orji was stoned countless number of times in Aba and nothing happened. A COAS was stoned and 350 went to their grave. It was disproportionate, excessive use of force on civilian population.
Honestly if the stoning of GEJ in the north should happen to Bubu in the south or by Shiites, I'm very certain the community where dat happened would have been wiped off the face of this earth.
afroniger: Bia OP, do those 'useless' people include your family members?? Only a useless somebody (like you) would call over a 100-million inhabitants of a nation 'useless'. See your useless life? Smh.
But ur god buhari said it first in his first stint as head of this nation
Biafra: We are almost there – Nnamdi Kanu tells supporters
Leader of the indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu has commended his followers for continuing with the pro-Biafra agitation. Kanu, who is facing criminal charges before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja delivered his message through the group’s spokespersons.
According to IPOB spokespersons, Dr. Clifford C. Iroanya and Barr. Emma Mmezu, the detained Radio Biafra director gave the message during a solidarity visit to him in the prison.
They quoted him as saying: “I wish to commend and congratulate millions of IPOBians the world over, whose tenacity and exemplary steadfastness to the course is and will always remain a great source of joy and inspiration for me.
“It is noteworthy and very commendable, that despite the spirited antics of our adversaries, the struggle has gathered the desired, awareness, momentum, sympathy and outright support, way beyond our expectations.
“Your total commitment to the struggle and your determination and focus as a well disciplined mass movement has gotten the attention of the world and frightened the enemy stiff.
“As our journey to the promised land progresses beautifully, since we left Egypt, it is important to always remind ourselves that our progeny will forever remain grateful to us for our many sacrifices today. We are almost there.
“As the oppressor panic, they unwittingly wobble from one blunder to another, time is running out and Pharaoh and his army clearly has no choice than to let my people go. I remain very proud of you all. Thank you.”
ridwanayo: Am a yoruba boy,but guy u no make sense with all this bullshit at all.are you apc zombies cursed to always kiss Fulani's ass.am sure u an awusha clamin yoruba(there are lot of u guys on nairaland).u are shoutin ipod, shey na ipod kidnap falaye,na them collect ilorin from us or na them cause mile12 fight, even oduduwa wud be ashamed of u in his grave, coz our fore-fathers are nt cowards like this.1ell give u father land to Fulani's,d same way dy took ilorin from yoruba's dy wud take ur land from u,ode oshi, olori bobo, eleyin jiji bi isale pot(am sure u are a notherner forming yoruba).the land grazing bill has already failed we won't let u guys claim our land, face ur war, thorned north
Wyttcat: I love fulani, I'm still a die hard supporter of Buhari against all odds, but this is about us as a people. We need to put our own interests first in whatever we do. Fulani have been violent and shouldn't be strategically placed among Nigerians as the bill suggests. They are not known to be good neighbors, they are extremely belligerent and can go from 0 to 200 in a second. We don't need people like this around. The north has too much land up north and don't need land in the south if there's no ulterior motive behind it. This isnt going to help SW farmers but will bring confrontation to their doorsteps, it's bad, really bad. Think again
Talk some senses into ur brother's head, he's losing it.
Is the FG not giving igbo farmers in the east free fertilizers and pesticides? are the igbo farmers not getting agric loans to support their farming? Why cant the FG intervene in support of the fulanis whose meat is our source of beef in the south? dont be selfish
If we are to go by ur reasoning, Igbo farmers are in the East doing their thing, the herdsmen should stay in their domain and do their thing. And if the FG wants to establish them it should be in their domain. The fertilizer being given to Igbo farmers are northern farmers not getting the same? Let them stay in their domain and let FG give them as many hectares of land as possible. But going to another person's domain to give them lands for their business which other people from other zone and tribe don't get to enjoy is a NO NO.
PassingShot: That will mean they're not entitled to establish their business in any part of Nigeria they wish to.
It's just like asking all Igbo traders to only take their wares to other part of the country when they need to sell them. Not owning shops, factories and offices in those other parts.
Wake up to reality joor.
You keep making reference using Igbos. Didn't the Igbos acquire the properties for their businesses with their monies? Did FG carve of portions of land for the Igbo businessman? The point is FG shouldn't carve out other people's territory for Fulani cattle herdsmen. If they need land they should acquire just like how every other people doing business acquired theirs according to the law of the said area. They shouldn't be treated differently.
jmichlins: When they talk about Nigerians doing exploits abroad we know they are talking about Igbos the most traveling tribe in Nigeria. Kenya never see something by the time we are through with them, they will beg whites to come take their lands again
obailala: Everything in Nigeria is turned to foolish politics and every emeka, tunde and yusuf myopically becomes a political theorist, albeit dumb ones. What have Nigerian youths been turned into for Christ sake? How did the minds of Nigerian youths get so depraved to even think in this manner?... For all those in this thread saying they do not want a high speed rail, you guys should kindly speak for daft selves; there are many who need it.
Op, the proposed rail passes through the entire SS region and it passes the SE city of Aba before getting to PH. There is also a spur from benin to Asaba and Onitsha. Quit playing dumb politics with everything.
rusher14: If you had listened to Amaechi's budget defence to land transport committee you would have heard all the major terminals including some in the East.
Try to avoid this undue sentiment it never helps.
Blah blah blah. A rail dat cuts into a fringe of SE somewhere in Abia is what u expect an entire region of 5 States to accept, u must be wicked and cold hearted. Be gone.
“We are seeking the reversion of this decision because the Calabar – Lagos rail project is very viable and it cuts across states in the South-South and South West, and it would galvanise the social and economic activities of the affected regions.
Where are those claiming and also manufacturing maps that this rail project cuts into South East?
Since Sahara reporters have helped us with the contacts of our respective senators and representatives, I think its high time we bombarded them with SMS showing our disapproval of this bill. We can't let it stand. It's unfair.
senior123: The fulani herdsmen are a big problem and we need to deal with it. Why not say that. Why are u trying to use the actions of a few foolish Fulani men to cause hate between igbo and fulani pple going about their daily business in Nigeria. Fulani herdmens are killing people around Nigeria. In benue, in lagos, in the north, in the ss everywhere. Stop making everything an Igbo thing.
U made it an Igbo thing. Nnamdi took FG to ECOWAS court and I asked when the case will be heard but u decided to make it an Igbo thing. U should learn to look the other way if u don't know what to talk about.
senior123: Nobody is against NNamdi Kanu, if he is going to come to Nigeria ans instigate hate wars and divert this country form the path of progress he will locked up so we can have peace. Anyone that threatens peace and harmony should be locked up.
Like the peaceful Fulani herdsmen who have been busy maiming and destroying anything on their path, right?
One of their leaders came out and said the herdsmen are on a revenge mission, has he been locked up?
Nnaabros: Some groups are more civilised than others. It doesn't make them cowards. Not everybody has the illiterate, barbaric and savage bloodthirsty brutality of the Fulani. People who are more enlightened try to be civil and diplomatic before engaging in violent retaliation.
Get on with ur diplomacy while the herdsmen continue to maim u all.
OgbeifunErom: My take is that the alleged killings should be reported to the authorities and police resources and every judicial apparatus should be used in bringing the perpetrators to book
IPOB has used several media calling for the murder of Yorubas and Hausas and now their followers are practicalising it
They will pay
IPOB must be giving u serious nightmare. Sorry and I think I'm done with u.
OgbeifunErom: This is a right step in the right direction
IPOBs must be punished for the willful murder of Nigerians
This group is undermining the authority of the government and the Army should be deployed to their strongholds and they should disarm them and use every necessary method. Mass execution should be on the table.
