Fantastic! We actually have a .com of this website, which redirects to .com.ng when you type it
My concern with this is that all emails are .com.ng. So how will these emails be affected if for instance we get the .com domain plus hosting from the foreign company but still want all emails to be .com.ng (will redirecting automatically solve this issue)??
Sadly, the email addresses cannot redirect. The best way out is to move email accounts to the .com domain. If email addresses created within the .com.ng account, it is worthy of note to state that clients should be notified of the development.

Also, the .com.ng email addresses can be set up for automatic reply, hinting of the new development.

All the best.

Please I need your technical advice (not just someone willing to sell a brand to me)

I have a client whose website is hosted by a Nigerian host (don't want to spoil their market here grin). The client has been complaining about their emails mostly going to the SPAM folders of recipients. So I forwarded the complaint to the host company, they worked on it, but the client says the problem still persists till now. So I thought the best option would be to go for a foreign host, but a popular one said that they don't do .ng extension. So there lies the issue - my client's website is a .com.ng but this foreign host company doesn't do .com.ng.
Anyways, what do you advise as the way forward? Please note, the client has made up his mind to go with a foreign host company. Any good foreign host that accepts .com.ng?
Have your client purchase a .com domain and redirect his current to the new one and then peacefully move to a foreign web hosting provider. Other alternatives can be recommended but any sane, business minded person will never embrace a .com.ng domain for security reasons.

Privacy is everything in today's world and that should be prioritised over pricing.

hello webmasters! how much do I budget for buy and hosting a blog? and again which hosting company would serve better?

please I don't want naija... thanks
Hi! Setting up a blog is super easy and somewhat difficult at the same time. Easy because you can tinker your way around it in a DIY fashion. Somewhat difficult because it is not just about getting a platform to write and post on. You need to be able to have the technical know-how to get traffic to your blog, you need to understand the monetization method you intend to adopt and mostly understand the basic SEO rule to have a shot at blogging.

The ratio of those who have started a blog and failed is massive compared those who did and succeeded. Why is this so? Traffic, niche and monetizing, basically.

For hosting and domain, namecheap is good and recommended. You can start with a little hosting capacity and a possible room to upscale when the time is ripe. If you get it right, upscaling should happen within 3-6 months.

Setting up your blog is not just about getting a magazine theme. If you truly want to succeed, learn the Schema ropes, better still, hire a developer who is neck deep in SEO to do this for you so that you don't get million errors in Google Search Console which might hinder your chances at success.

To get off on the right foot, you can get in touch and have us take care of both design and set up, with the appropriate robot.txt that will propel your blog to success, integrate the appropriate schema type for your blog to compete fairly and mostly, have an idea about what you are doing.

A major step to failure in blogging is doing so in isolation. Get in touch to set you on the right path.

Below is client's data after blogging in isolation for ages. The blog was optimised in December and by January, it took effect. Today, the client is coasting and enjoying value for her money. Her visitors are purely tier 1 visitors.

Just two thousand.. Thank God we didnt pay him for 2mnths.. We jus did the 2k payment to knw if he can do it.. He did rubbish and ignored us.. Was still asking us to pay another 2k.. What a cheap scammer
Hi, running a N2,000 ad on Facebook is most likely a scam for many reasons. Generating leads on ads of N2000 is unrealistic let alone a sizeable amount of impressions.

We sent out a proposal to a client this morning on request and I can tell you that the quoted sum beyond your imagination. And note that this is within the client's budget.

Depending on your campaign type, it is even more favourable to consult with ad campaigners/consultants in order to know what will work best for you. It is not enough to see your ads running on social media.

That said, I strongly believe your campaign type can be execute yourself without having to hire someone to do it for you. Do not make yourself a target of scam by choosing to run, buy or purchase certain services for ridiculous amounts.

All the best.

I still need more contributions please. Better still, analysis that will help
For the website, it can be readied within 10 days to design and customize to perfection. We can also integrate features that will enable you as the website owner to push so products to top pages as "top ads". What this means is that owners of these products can choose to push their products to top pages, as on Jiji, meaning you'll make extra income from ads besides other means Afrimart currently adopt.

We will also be able to integrate a payment gateway that will allow customers perform transactions seamlessly.

. Hello!

Money is obviously a factor but there is the possibility of getting the wrong person to the job. Therefore, it is wise to request for previous works of any developer before contracting the job.

What you need is a developer and not primarily a web designer. If you are on the look out for one, kindly get in touch. We'll love to show you some of our previous works and also run you through how we can get this up and running for you.

Please you must be familiar with WordPress and AMP and have fix such issues before.

I have the following AMP issues on Search Console and I need the fix.

1. A tag on this page requires an AMP component 'script' tag, which is missing.

2. A mandatory AMP HTML tag is missing from this document.

If you can fix these issues easily and quickly send a mail to lodgewriters@gmail.com thanks.

we share the money 70/30
This is indirectly outsourcing a project you got? Who takes the 70%?

Our most recent client was a Port Harcourt IoT company and one of the very few. Although we are based in Lagos, there won't be issues at all so long we come to an agreement.

Also, we are currently working on an investment website and it is 70% completed. You can message using the WhatsApp link so that we can send you the link to see.

And this is how my website appears on google
Your website is on the verge of being hurt. A wild guess puts current tags in the region of 800+, which means you will need to mop them up from SERP. A disturbing trends on tags is that they are giving more preferences over post contents and rated in the same level as categories.

You will likely get errors from GSEC at some point over the growing tags, particularly when you want to take them down.

Tags are a strategic part of SEO but it is not needed for everyone or every blog. You will need to mop up and wait for a while to see the changes on SERP.

This is what it looks like.I have searched for the no-follow and no-index tag on the home page, but none is there.
This looks bad. Except you are running a huge site where tags can serve as categories and all what not, you should not use them and most importantly have them indexed. They will burn out your crawl allocation.

It gets worse if you cannot have them optimized because your site's search appearance will come out ugly.

You should not use tags if you have no particular use for them.
Webmasters › Re: Webmasters Come To My Rescue by LMServices: 8:37am On Jul 14, 2020
Hello. First, right click on your home page to view your blog page source, then use the CTRL+F to find a possible "no-follow" or "no-index" tag. Best guess is that there is one or both on your blog, which is preventing the homepage from being indexed.

If you have both or either tags, then your issue is likely coming from there. If it is not, you might need to do a page/section investigation. Yoast is fast becoming notorious messing up search appearances and crawl items.

"Archive" is supposed to be a category label for posts on WordPress. So even when you create posts, they fall under certain archives. Optimized blogs will group them into categories.

Your website seems to be misconfigured and your SEO's trajectory is way off as it is.

We can fix this but it won't be free. The no index meta is most likely from your Yoast plugin. Your on page SEO can be recalibrated to have the proper areas of your website indexed.

You can reach out for assistance. Kindly note that we do not offer Pro bono services.
